Hey so on the 411 cultfollowing: I own the 411 and have ridden the 450 with the intention of buying it but decided against it and surprisingly a lot of 411 owners also did! Now firstly the 450 is objectively a much better and more capable bike, 0 doubts about it! The breaks are much better, the suspension and geometry i would go as far as saying that is class leading, fuel economy is great and tubeless spoked wheels are always nice! That said, surprisingly while the 450 at 130 Km/h on the highway still has plenty of power for an overtake, it's not as nice to be ridden as the 411 at 120, it seems paradoxical but it's less vibey, you sit more in the bike than on top of it and the wind protection is much better, then while heavier the 411 center of gravity sits lower so it "feels" less cumbersome at low speeds and finally I just like the tractor-like nature of that engine, both on and off-road, there's just something about chugging along that brings a smile to my face, this plus the style gives me a nostalgic feel of the old Panda 4x4 i used to be in with my grandpa in the weekends! So in the end i like this similarity, the Himalayan 450 behaves and handles like a horse, while the 411 like a mule/donkey!
There's something about that Guerrilla 450 that I just really don't like the look of. But I do love the look of that Bear 650! And surprisingly it's the off-white and mint-green version that I'd be wanting! Still currently have the Honda GB350s at the top of my list, though!
@rafaeltavares6928 no, I don't think that's it at all. I can pick out some things that I clearly don't like, such as the not-quite right-looking fuel tank and seat shapes - like Motobob said, adding to an attempt at a kind of flat track look - it just looks off to me. I don't like the colour scheme options either. And the frequently questionable (but generally still acceptable) looking RE exhaust pipe just looks worse than nornal here, for some reason. But I think there's something in addition to/beyond all of that, too. All IMHO, of course.
Dailyed my scram 411 for the last year. Been absolutely bulletproof, reliable, frugal to run and plenty enough power considering I don't need to go on the motorway
Everyone says the HIMALAYAN 411 is underpowered till they ride it in its natural habitat i.e. Himalayas. I did a Leh LAddakh circuit on this and believe me its the perfect machine one can wish for. Enough torque, light, nimble, super easy to maneuver, easy to repair. Bang for the buck. THIS MOTORCYCLE WAS DESIGNED FOR THE HIMALAYAS.
My taste / needs are all over the place. I could currently see myself go for the Himalayan 450 (because it is light, tough, good on and off road, has great fuel economy for touring), the Shotgun 650 (because it looks fantastic, plus it apparently handles surprisingly well) and the Bear 650 (because I will always have a weak spot for Scramblers and I love the versatility). Might test ride all three in the spring...
Great to see RE taking up the Triumph Speed 400 gauntlet. I hope other will join in....I think new engine tech (power) makes this a compelling market segment...
I saw the 650 classic at the NEC the day after you were filming. I have a 650 Super Meteor atm and was really looking forward to seeing the new bike. Loved it, apart from one thing. I ride all winter, and trying to keep the spoked wheels and chromed hubs clean would be near on impossible. Could still buy one though.
I have to say if I wasn't so lazy with the polish I'd go for that Classic 650. But I ride all year round and I just don't think it would survive... Nice looking bike though!
Their RRP is great, but the servicing intervals are surprisingly low. My 411 Himalayan, which I’ve had since 2018, requires a valve check every 3k miles, so some years that’s been 2 trips to the garage. Looking at a Honda for the next bike… less pretty, but 8k miles servicing will positively impact the running costs.
@ no they weren’t. Always 10,000km / 6,000 miles after the 500km break in inspection. Some people got the wrong idea from watching the missenden flyer who mistakenly said it was more frequent that than.
Having to check the valve adjustment every 5.000 is a real disadvantage. If you do it by yourself you have to remove the tank and other parts apart of needing specific tools and a garage. If you do it in the concession, prepare 200/400€ only for labor. That outrageous servicing dissuaded me of buying this awesome machine.
They are really milking that 650 engine but it’s a legendary engine and it deserves all its shades. I wish Harley had done the same with their Vrod motor. Keep it up RE.
I would like to see a bobber out of the meteor, classic and shotgun, the bear 650 is the best 650 I would go for shame no silver and chrome finish though.
Idk why they won't do a Himalayan 650... It's the perfect engine. And then they could do a 950 Golden Wing style bike and then look at what the fans want. I actually feel like Royal Enfield has a cult following like how Honda and the other japanese brands had in the 90's and early 2000's, giving them the freedom to launch loads of bikes in every displacement they can, and they'll definitely make a profit. THEY CAN NEVER LET GO OF THE RETRO STYLING!
I follow someone who's really thrilled with their Guerrilla but whose idea was the 11-litre fuel tank? Same size as on the Honda CB125F and that uses much less petrol.
Royal Enfield are killing it. Really wish you could spec a bike NOT to have a digital dash / TFT display thou. I like them because they are ture simple bikes and not computers on wheels.
I have a Triumph T100 Bud Ekins, a RE Himalayan 450 and a RE Classic 350. I had a Indian Scout Sixty before. And the RE are my fav'. Love them. The 350 single is very charming and put a smile on my face everytime I ride it. It just needs 5 or 10 more hp and 10 more Nm of torque and it's gonna be perfect. I would like to see the new 440 engine on it. The Himalayan 450 is my favorite for riding with a passenger. It's perfect.
I'm old enough to remember original not retro 'scramblers' which with the exception of a couple of trials specific conversion (Rickman Matisse etc) didn't - and I can't say this enough - come from the factory any more off road capable than many of the retro machines. It's why the true off readers ex Yamaha and Suzuki in particular did so well. The average scrambler was the result of long hours in somebody's shed. Yet we continue to 5alk as if a 'real scrambler' (and capability) came from the dealers. Nonsense. And kudos to the men and women who built them up. If these machines tick boxes as durable, tractable roadsters - they're scrambler as anything. Want more? Build it. Or buy a dirt bike, but that's a very different machine. All opinion of course from 45 years of riding
The price is OK, but the stepping away from previous valve adjustment method - which was doable with a "fork and a kitchen knife", in favor of shims = 🤮🤮🤮🤮 THIS is the ONLY reason, I will not buy the 450..... Yes - that is also doable, but the fun of doing it yourself + EASILY, is taken away ! 🤢🤢
Been on a 2018 xl 1200 sportster for a few years. After a bunch of looking around for something different, I just bought a new 2024 continental gt 650. I'M Not sorry!! It's cool and SUPER fun..
Hi RE has launched Scram 440 here in India ..here's the link th-cam.com/video/U8z3LQgJ1EI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=sAKMzT8mHgusa2BP Massive massive fan of your work from India..
'50 Shades of 650cc engine'. From Royal Enfield
Atleast they are listening their customers.
The more the merrier.
typical hater..... Other brands all around the world are doing the same.
They are launching a 440 air cooled engine, an upgraded version of the 410.
For India only, apparently. It's not the engine but the LED lights, frame and other improvements that make that a great update
It will flop outside of India

They miss so much by not making every single engine a twin... Madness

Color shemes are... questionable. They are for the Indian taste, not the European.
just ordered the Honda GB350s in Black
@@0scartheCat Nice! Hope you get tons of fun out of that!
The newly released bobber styled *GOAN* classic 350 for the Indian market is the coolest Royal Enfield - the FONZ would have been impressed.
I think the Royal Enfield Classic 650 will quickly become a bestseller, it's just a shame it won't come with tubeless tires at first.
They're working on that, just wait for one more year
243kg!!!
@@morri03 Yeah, it's too heavy

Bear 650 is on my list to more than likley order when available to do so.
customers have taken delivery in the US.

I own a 2023 harley road glide ST 117 cu inch. My next bike will be a royal enfield.
World class bikes.
Great to see RE taking up the Triumph Speed 400 gauntlet. I hope other will join in....I think new engine tech (power) makes this a compelling market segment...
Scram 411 has been replaced with Scram 440.
There is new classic 350 as well called as Goan Classic 350.
The bear 650 and the classic 650 look absolutely beautiful
Guerrilla for me - Brava Blue! 😀
They really come strong on the EU markets in last few years ❤
And Royal Enfield really keeping with it's retro charm
The Bear model is such a fantastic looking machine. So..... beautiful, I must say.
I love my Guerilla in blue / white 😊 Has plenty of zip for our (less than stellar condition) NZ roads 🤩
I have to say if I wasn't so lazy with the polish I'd go for that Classic 650. But I ride all year round and I just don't think it would survive... Nice looking bike though!
Had a continental after a 20 year break. They’re cheap and heavy. But a good value to get started.
Their RRP is great, but the servicing intervals are surprisingly low. Yes but that’s the old tech stuff. The modern engines are 6k valve checks and it’s an easy job you can do yourself
@ …when the 650 interceptor/continental were launched they too were 3k intervals.
@ no they weren’t. Always 10,000km / 6,000 miles after the 500km break in inspection. Some people got the wrong idea from watching the missenden flyer who mistakenly said it was more frequent that than.

I have a Kawasaki ninja but recently sold, idk why motobob always gets me with the royal enfields, is it time for me to go classic?
They are really milking that 650 engine but it’s a legendary engine and it deserves all its shades. I wish Harley had done the same with their Vrod motor. Keep it up RE.
£6,399 for the Int 650 is a great price. In Malta they're priced at €9,000, and I sure as hell am not paying that price for that bike.
You can get them for £5000 in Australia……
@pauls8456 ...FML... I think it might be worth getting one from a dealer in Europe and riding it to Malta..
@ that sounds like more fun anyway!
@@pauls8456 this is true.
The aluminium finished Shotgun 650 was ❤. But Royal Enfield didn't bring that to the market. That's heart breaking for the fans.
Bro you are really, really milking these videos. One event, 47 videos.....lol
I would like to see a bobber out of the meteor, classic and shotgun, the bear 650 is the best 650 I would go for shame no silver and chrome finish though.

scram 440 ?
RE has launched a new version of the Scram with a 440cc air cooled engine in India
440 scram
??
They need to build a 750. They've done it before. Be better if they built a thou twin.

Scram 440 is coming
tell me one reason to buy a Royal Enfield motorcycle?
Price and quality of build….
They look good but regarding the bottom end of the range: I think my farts top out at 25HP 😆
Its raining Royal Enfield models in India
'50 Shades of J-series engine'. From Royal Enfield
How come the 650 engines make such little power
RE Bear: a poor man's Yamaha SCR950
Hmm
The himi looks got ruined I'm pretty upset
Engine is a damp squib. 20 hP?? what??
Newer classics have too much chrome now and LED should be an accessory choice.
asking £6k for an enfield is a blasphemy
Been on a 2018 xl 1200 sportster for a few years. After a bunch of looking around for something different, I just bought a new 2024 continental gt 650. I'M Not sorry!! It's cool and SUPER fun..

What a boring range, not interested 😂😂
Let's pretend to be really excited about their e-bike so they let us have bikes to review in the future!!!!!! YAY with sprinkles!
Boring slow motorcycle for riders with poor riding skill. Three engine range with a 2 dozen same looking shite.
Glad you like it

home too. 😂
