How much was the umbrella rental?
I’m pretty sure it was $25 at the time of our visit. Overall I remember it being fair, we enjoyed the beach there. Thanks for checking out the video and asking!
I enjoy your videos! We have much in common
Well then you must be a great dude!😂 Seriously tho, thanks so much for this comment and for ever checking out any of my videos. Much appreciated sir!
dont like running shoes for casual . heel to toe drop just puts pressure on the big toe
whens leaf twig razor reviewing coming. you should compare boost vs nike zoomx or reactx. i dont like running shoes for casual something about high heel and low toe area doesn't work for me i prefer flat basketball shoes for casual
The one the the exfoliating bar does it use a special blade?
I am Korean, so please understand that I may not be good at English. I have plantar fasciitis. Therefore, I am looking for comfortable shoes that hold my feet safely when walking or jogging for a long time. Hoka: Bondi 8 vs Clifton 9 vs Gaviota 5 Brooks: Glycerin gts 21 vs Goast Max 2 vs Adrenaline gts 23 New Balance: 1080v14 vs 860 v14 vs more V5 Out of the 9 shoes above, what is the best shoe for me and why?
Finally a good video which explains it well. Thanks. Really helpful!. I love Gillette Skinguard. I also have Supply Edge Pro. I like Gillette better. easier to shave. no learning curve. Supply I still need to be very careful and can't rush it.
Nice cap
Nnnnn How's that different than Mizuno's who created that trend
@@brianpatrik Man wish I could answer that question🤔 But never tried the Mizuno wave style or even Reebok zig tech which are both similar. I can say my On Clouds shoes were more comfortable than most of the kicks I had at the time. My experience with ON is what really jump started me into testing out shoes for comfort. On cloud are still some of my favorites but there’s lots of great options out there. Huge thanks for checkout the video!
@fitnessnbeer9835 there's another brand you should check..I see Rogan working out with them sometimes Vivobarefoot
What’s better for standing for 8-10 hr
Of course everyone is different. I like well cushioned shoes with a thicker stack height and some of my favorites for long days are the Cloud Eclipse, Cloudmonster, Nike Invincible 3’s, and the New Balance More V5. Working on a best shoes for long days video now. Huge thanks for checking out the video and asking!
NO, cheap materials as all the brands right now , gimmick "tech"
Quite a few people have commented about “cheap materials” but that hasn’t been my experience. I haven’t found them to be any better or worse as far as material quality than most brands. And agreed the Cloud tech thing is gimmicky. Thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!
They both have poor heel traction... And can be very slippery or dangerous on wet surfaces
I haven’t noticed poor traction with either brand, but a few have commented similarly. In my experience I haven’t found either brands of shoes more or less slippery than most. Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts.
They both look beautiful to me
Yes I think both resorts are cool and either would be good for most. There are a few differences which can sway one’s preference depending on what they’re looking for. Thanks for checking out the video and commenting!
These shoes are definitely the best replacement for slippers. Easy to slip on, comfy, and no laces involved. I just think the name is silly and people are too judgmental at first appearances but it can be appealing! Just wear what you want and who cares, eventually it might start trending one day
Agreed 100% except I don’t thing the name is that bad 😂. Perhaps it is like you said… “silly.”🤷🏾♂️. And yes, I think they work great as house shoes or slippers. But it’s also great they’re acceptable to wear in public. Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!
Great vid, but i wish you would specify which Hokas or Ons you are referencing in the video.
You are 100% right. At the time of making the video I was focused on how suddenly I was seeing these to brands everywhere and it happened quickly. For the video I test out the Hoka Arahi and the Hoka Bondi. For On Cloud I tried the Cloud runners and Cloud monsters. Big thanks for your comment and for checking out the video!
Do they run smalller?
In my experience I’m a size 11 normally and that’s consistent with Hoka too. Also several models are available with wide options. Big thanks for checking out the video and asking.
the 1.0 definitely more comfort for casual travelling no issue for long distance walk.. the UBL more for daily runner , good at running the boost activate the bouncing, not very nice for jz a walk..
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts. I totally agree about the Ultraboost 1.0 for comfort. I don’t like the Ultra Boost light as much but it’s still okay.
I’m going to buy a pair. Very great detailed review of them.
Huge thanks for checking out the video and commenting! I really enjoy the adidas UB 1.0. Hope they work out well for you too!
Tried many pairs and nothing even comes close to the boost or ultraboost.. miles ahead
The UB 1.0 is one of my favorite pair of shoes. There’s other shoes I like but none offer the same comfort as the ultra boost. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts.
I’m glad you listed the cartridge price instead of the razor price- I don’t really care how much they make me spend on the handle initially, because eventually cartridge costs will make the starting price insignificant- I’ll take a $40 razor with $1 blades over a $20 razor with $2 blades. On that point maybe a safety razor would be a good thing to check out because those blades come in at like $0.10 each
Yes the reoccurring expenses is the most important thing. I enjoy a safety razor but it’s mostly because I appreciate the craft of shaving. In a lot of ways I think cartridges are easier but a safer razor is definitely a better value. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!
That clip of the person on the plane is how I first learned about them. I noticed many people wearing them while traveling.
🤣 I feel like I suddenly started seeing On Cloud everywhere too. Big thanks for checking out the video and commenting!
Fantastic video! Informative and opinionated without being judgmental or overbearing. I pretty much only wear On and Hoka and while I do love them both, I have to say I prefer the On Cloudmonster 2 brand if I know I'm going to be walking a longer distance or standing for long periods of time. If I'm just doing running around or walking for one or two miles, my Hokas perform perfectly well. But for me, there's something about that walking on clouds technology that really connects with my feet in ways no other athletic shoes do. Thanks for the stellar reviews!
Huge thanks for this 👆🏾comment and checking out the video. The Cloud Runner, Cloudmonster, and Cloud Eclipse are some of my favorite shoes. I like several of the more cushioned different variation of On for kicking it and long days on foot. I actually like Hoka a little better for running and exercise.
Thank you for taking the time to do this research. Very helpful.
I really try to share non biased and helpful opinions. Of course we’re all different but I still think a review can be helpful. Big thanks for your comment and checking out the video!
Totally agree that the 1.0 is a superior lifestyle shoe in feel, stability, ease of putting on, and it’s a good walking and running shoe but the 5 is certainly better for those uses.
Agreed 100% Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!
Brooks donated heavily to Donald Trump and Project 2025 (exclusively. They did not donate to Democrats at all). It’s really sad. I’ve been a lifelong Brooks buyer - I have 4 pairs in my closet now! But no more. I’m not giving my hard earned money to a company that doesn’t support democracy.
Thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!👍🏾

I’m really not sure how to respond to this. I’ve since seen a list of companies that donated, (some of which sell products that would be hard to part with), and I’m not exactly sure how far it’ll go if I start funneling my money only toward companies who’s politics I agree with🤔. Which honestly I think we be an admirable way to live life but that also comes with a commitment to research and stay informed. To say the least I’m bummed. I don’t really do politics on this channel but I appreciate the comment and more so the knowledge. Thanks for sharing.
great video im a nimbus fan but nimbus 26 was a huge dissapointment compared to 25 i used to buy adidas boost but the last years boost they r not the same shoes hoka bondi 6 was gread havent bought a nike running since lunarglide 7 but il give it a go with the invincible great video looks objective
Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts! I like the Adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 better than the subsequent models. It’s cool that the 1.0 seem to always be available kinda like certain classic shoes. Also a fan of the Hoka Bondi but in some ways I like the Invincible 3’s better. If you try em, let me know what you think?
Bondi 7 were the only shoes that helped my pains … I want to try on clouds but when my last pair of Bondi 7 are done I will be getting the 8’s .. had some new balances and they were comfortable but the cushion of the hokas have blessed me
The Hoka Bondi 8 were my favorite exercise and running shoe for the longest time. They’re still high on my list and one of my all around favorite shoes, but I also like the Nike Invincible 3 for similar purposes as the Bondi. I’m currently testing out a pair of the New Balance More V5 and still forming my opinions🤔. I don’t think they’ll supplant either the Bondi or Invincible 3’s. Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
Thank you so much for putting this video out. Given my situation as being a nurse who typically leans on his heals more than their toes I think I’m gonna try out the 5.0 . I will say that I have two pairs of the 1.0 (all white and with the black sole) and have LOVED these pairs that have lasted me years. I’m hoping for the best
Big thanks for checking out the video and commenting! The Ultraboost 1.0 and 5.0 are both great choices. I’m sure you’ll find the 5.0 a worthy replacement.
why are you reading though
Big thanks for checking out the video and commenting! I’m not reading. I script but don’t use prompter or recite word for word.
I have been wearing new balance for years. I want to try these
New Balance makes some great shoes but I think Ons are comparable. I hope that you find them comfortable too. Big thanks for checking out the video and commenting!
We basically paid for premium material build Which can be good if your into that The blades are solid Cheaper razors blade might be identical But like I said The price is basically the the handle And a nice way to keep it standing than sitting around messy
I agree the Gillette Lab materials feel more premium but I also feel the shave itself feels more premium…. and efficient. I doesn’t feel to me like the blades are the same because I get a better shave from the Gillette Labs and a longer lasting cartridge. But also everyone’s experience is different. Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!
Its funny how growing up we thought the things our dad wore was outdated. Now, fast forward to today everything old is now back in style.
I 100% agree with you, but in reverse. I've been wearing the Hoka Clifton 9, OnCloud Tilt and New Balance 1080 for at least 6 months. I alternate the 3 but I did wear the New Balance to Europe for 2 weeks. First let me say that I am not a runner. I work out 4 to 5 days a week with weights along with pull ups and dips and TRX suspension training and do cardio via Precor run simulator. I also walk a ton. With that said, I have to say I like them all. If you like a real cushy shoe go with the New Balance. I personally found it to be too cushy for my taste. It is a very good shoe though. The OnCloud Tilt is an interesting shoe. Its wider than the others and doesn't hug my feet. I like that. It doesn't feel overly cushy, maybe just the right amount. So now it comes down to OnCloud vs Hoka (for me personally I like both better than the New Balance). Hoka Clifton just feels slightly better but I also love wearing the OnCloud Tilt. Its a very difficult decision because the both have a different feel to them. If I'm just walking maybe the OnCloud is very very slightly preferred. If I'm walking but then also working out that day and don't want to change shoes I will go with the Hoka''s. The reason is they grip the floor better and although they are not snug they contour my feet better. My feet do not move around as much as the OnCloud. And the material in the Hoka's seem more premium. Hope that all makes sense.
Hey stop adding too many meme clips in your videos. They’re very distracting. It’s one thing to try to make a video interesting but it’s overly done
@@sanaqureshi4206 Okay thanks for checking out the video and commenting. Have you watched more than one of my videos?
I've got stupid wife flat feet and they fit so well. They're so comfortable. I don't really give a crap what anyone thinks about me
At first glance it looks like your comment says “I’ve got a stupid wife”🤣 But I know you meant wide*. And yes, 100% agreed they’re very comfortable and I could care less what anyone thinks of my Hey Dudes. Huge thanks for checking out the video and commenting!!
Great video… thanks
Huge thanks for this 👆🏾comment and for checking out the video!
Very helpful 👏🔥
Huge thanks for this comment 👆🏾and for checking out the video!!
With my first pair, I walked/hiked all over Europe. We walked approximately 5 miles per day with the group but about an additional 2 miles without the group. I had already heard about them from my nursing colleagues but wasn't persuaded until I used them myself. At this moment, there is not other athletic shoe for me.
I’m a big fan of On too and had a similar experience with my first pair. I took mine to Disney with several theme park days of more than 20,000 steps and they performed beautifully. But caution On isn’t the only game in town. New balance, Hoka, Nike, and Adidas all have models than can compete with on in the comfort category. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
What month were you here?
@@jjjustin17favs Our visit was during the last week of May. Good time to visit. Thanks for checking out the video and asking!
They are wonderful beater shoes for casual wear when you don't wanna get your nice shoes dirty. It's not very durable, but it offers good underfoot cushion.
100% agreed! Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!
Subject: Inquiry Regarding PFAS Usage in GORE-TEX Clifton 9 GTX Model Dear HOKA Family and Customer Service Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inquire about the materials used in the Clifton 9 GTX model, particularly in relation to the GORE-TEX technology employed. As PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) have been recognized for their potential adverse effects on health and the environment, I understand that GORE-TEX has introduced ePE membranes as a more environmentally responsible and PFAS-free alternative. Could you kindly confirm whether the Clifton 9 GTX model utilizes the PFAS-free ePE membrane, or if it incorporates the standard GORE-TEX membrane, which may still contain PFAS? This information is critical for consumers like me who are mindful of sustainability and health-conscious product choices. I appreciate HOKA's dedication to quality and innovation, and I trust that your transparency on this matter will continue to reinforce your reputation as a responsible and forward-thinking brand. Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to your response. Best regards, James B.
Do they fit small/big or true to size??
I’m a size 11 normally and I’m still a size 11 in the Ultraboost. Hope this helps. Big thanks for checking out the video and asking!
Great content!

I’m sure both have splash pad and mini golf 😊 also both have water slides 😅 Also vistana villages has a boat to take you places across water and a while activity center with daily encounters with holiday things
Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts! I try really hard to be accurate when I review properties but I’m not beyond making mistakes. However yes both Vistana properties have a waterslide. But the Vistana Villages does not have mini golf or a boat that crosses over the lake. It really sounds like you’re talking about the Marriott Cypress Harbour which has a boat and mini golf🤔.
@@fitnessnbeer9835 yes I ment that thanks a lot for correcting me but vistana villages has daily activities at the pool

And here I am with yee oooollllld Sensor / excel 2 blade…
Whoaa old school!🤣🤣. The sensor excel was my go to razor for like 20 years and served me well. I’m sure it still works but currently there’s options that work better for me on the market. Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
@@fitnessnbeer9835 well the handle I have is all metal OG(that was expensive for me)...the blades I picked up for like 5$ for packs of 10 about 3 years ago...i've got like 240 still left to go through....
Which one adds more height
The 5x adds more height for sure but it also has a more significant heel to toe drop. If you’re looking for a sneaker that adds height, I recommend the New Balance More V5, get maybe 2 inches and the shoe is still comfy. Big thanks for watching and asking!
@@fitnessnbeer9835I don’t think that’s true, both are listed by Adidas as 10mm drop, and Run Repeats lab measurements have the 1.0 at 14.2mm drop and the 5 at 10.6mm
Awesome video
Huge thanks for this comment and for checking out the video!
Hoka is best for problematic feet. I bought ON 3 times but I returned it. Even brooks shoes are good. I walk 8 miles everyday with brooks.
Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts. Many people have commented how a good pair of shoes have helped managing injury or alleviate pain. I actually like all 3 brands you mentioned with ON being my favorite, but hey we’re all different. I do think ON is best which models that have thicker shoe soles like the Cloudmonster, Cloud Surfer, or Cloud Eclipse.
