Its been more than 10 years since im bald. My haired self doesnt stand a chance against me. Ive been the most attractive male on my job and the only bald one. We work with teenagers. I always have to force distance between some of the females and me. In a male female relationship we are not the ones that bring beauty to the dinamic, our job is not that easy guys. When you feel down about your hair is often because you think you are going to be less attractive witch means your value is attached to the woman taste, thats harmful. You are the one who should feel enough, she will try to test it. Plz dont let that something so tiny like hair makes you feel bad, girls might say you are ugly just to test if you are confident enough. Ive seen multiple times women chaging. Women who previously didnt like balds go for a kiss on me. Plz, when you read this take time to let it sink in. I fucking love being bald give it a chance

got cancer during the pandemic and lost like 60% of my top hair, I still have it but you can see my scalp due how thin it is. So, I decided to embrace it and shave my head. My first time was on februrary 2023, just before I got back to work. It has not been an easy journey, but after almost a whole year, I can say I have come to feel comfortable with it. I actually think I look good. And yes, a lot of women will discard you before even taking to you but, hey, now the babes that approach me are some of the best women I have ever had as part of my life. What easy comes, easy goes. A women that is not supperficial or prejudice, trust me, loves better and bangs better.
Just remember to have a nice beard if you can, they love it. Also try to exercise your shoulders and arms, they love it when your bald head is the same size of your bald shoulders. And try to dress decently.
    Good look, bald brothers.

Started losing my hair at 22- basically was bald by 27. Met and married my wife when I was 28- she was the most beautiful woman I had ever met and she pursued me. 40 years later we're still married and I'm still bald (my 6 year old granddaughter believes I just have a "bad haircut"). I always saw myself as average looking- though there were some women who found me very attractive more women didn't find me attractive at all. Even at this age I'm stunned how often I'm approached- I see an old man when I look in the mirror (so I try to keep that to a minimum). With all that, if they came up with a pill that would fully restore my hair I would take it in a second. Having hair is preferable to not having it- like being fit is preferable to being fat. Felt that God made me bald because if I had hair I'd be insufferable. (BTW- that hair restoring pill, I wouldn't take it if my hair was going to be red.No offense.)

I am 62 and have been bald since my mid 30s. I will tell you young guys that being bald can hurt you. Many women are just not attracted to bald. You just need to keep trying until you find a woman who likes it or does not care. I found a few in my life even got married. They are out there. Stay in shape and keep building your empire. I really like that you brought up the point that having a bald head could act like a filter. One of my deepest insecurities has always been going bald with a partner and having her lose attraction for me. I have always dated women who preferred hair.
The funny thing is, If I had initially found someone who was attracted to me despite not having hair, that insecurity would be completely eradicated, and I could begin to focus on bigger and better things.
Thank you for this analysis. You gave me a lot to consider.

I'm so glad I've given you food for thought 🙂 that is the exact intention of these videos.
Preferences are normal and 100% viable -- even if people perceive them as shallow or unfair.
People don't choose their preferences -- they often derive from childhood trauma, mainstream media, guttural reactions, nurture, instinct etc.
It's way too exhausting/unrealistic to "convince" people that the decisions YOU feel you need to make for yourself, are "good" and "something that shouldnt matter" -- because it it might matter to THEM, and they can't help it.
So, rather than trying to change people's preferences, it's often best to control the controllable factor -- especially if that fear of "post-shave" rejection paralyzes/stunlocks you in your life/actions.
      Cheers, all the best!

What they say, and what's the reality are 2 different things. Best thing I ever did for my social life with women was to shave my head. No longer wasting time with women who aren't interested. Sorry I didn't shave it all off sooner. One thing I learned about women's opinions on most dating topics: They don't answer surveys honestly. They answer how they feel at the time.

Somehow this video appeared in my feed and I watched it. I know it is primarily speaking to men but I felt compelled to say something anyway. Certainly everyone has preferences. Sometimes those do change as people age. Very young men and women are usually driven by what is in the media. But you aren't going to look at things like you might have at 18 for long. Women do not think bald men unattractive or less appealing that I have found, in general. Some men are well suited for a shaved look and carry it off very well. Most of the people commenting have said make the most of what you can...we all can do that, and caring enough to put that effort in is attractive in and of itself for everybody. I know that these rating videos have become popular. I don't see where they do anything positive for most people. Nobody is going to feel cheery to have someone put them down, not even a stranger on the street, let alone someone they know. Everybody has some insecurity and someone attacking it publicly is simply nasty. You might get five compliments but one put down will be the only one that you take to heart. Why would you even want to be with someone that didn't mind making you feel awkward, even if that person thought they were teasing you. Treating people with respect and carrying yourself with confidence, ( even in down days) is what everybody should do more of. People rarely truly know how you feel unless you let them. Show them you think well of yourself. I don't think the man who rated himself was a failure at all with 17 different women liking his picture and wanting to meet him. What's so drab about that? I'm not making less of what someone goes through who may be losing their hair. It must be stressful. But letting strangers comments ruin your day is absolutely foolish. Don't bother, don't ask, and look for those 17 other women!

Become your best self brother ❤️
I'm going to assume you actually want a genuine answer, so here it is (apologize if I'm over-reading into this, but this is what I did):
Break down your journey to better self-esteem into baby steps, and address your un-dealtwith business from your childhood -- becoming aware of your tendencies and where they come from will make you stand out way more than a mere tuft of hair.
Fastest way to do this is with the help of a professional, but you can do this with daily reflection as well. Foster a kind and aware personality that understands their past (and how it affects their present actions) so as to not inflict pain onto others in the present.
Above all, if you're not already, find a part within yourself that sees self-care as inherently valuable.
Any bald man can "glow up" with exercise, diet, skin care, growing a well-groomed beard, dressing better, finding meaning in their career etc.... But, some people just need to discover WHY it's important to do all that for themselves.
You got this brother. You'll always be someone's type, and you'll increase your odds with every day if you aim to improve by 1% every day.
      Cheer,

      I'll take that as a compliment 🤣
But in all transparency, I did apply minoxidil to facilitate beard growth for 1.5 years and have been off of it for 6 years.
So it's "natural" now, but 6 years ago, it would have been considered "enhanced"

Thing is guys, if you are looking to be a player, yes, being bald will lower your chances for sure. However, if you are looking for a match to settle down with, you will absolutely find a women who does not mind at all. I am married to one. Depends what you are after. Playboy model? Maybe not. A good life with someone worth spending it with? Being bald will not matter for the latter

Man come on .. stop the BS. If you are bald you got much less chances than a full head of hair. Its like being 6'0 tall or 5'3. Of course you can hit the Gym , of course you can work on your personality , dress well , being wealthy. But It Is what It Is . Im sorry

In my opinion, I feel like we did a good and well-balanced job of representing the positives and negatives of being bald and how people may react.
What is your quandary with how we presented this information?

@@AberliteGrooming My problem isn’t necessarily with principles or morals or ethics in and of themselves, but rather with men chumpishly clinging to them when, in actuality, they really had no other options to give themselves a wider perspective on what they believe.
Just beware of making your necessity a virtue and spreading this way of thinking to other men.
You take the need or the lack and transform it into a virtue while justifying yourself for not taking the trouble to undergo a hair transplant treatment. That's a cope.
On the other hand, thank you for teaching me the word 'quandary.' I have never heard it in my life (I am Argentine, from Buenos Aires, English is my second language).

      @@Gianny1985Hi Gianny,
I understand your perspective now 🙂 thanks for clarifying that.
I try my absolute best to not demonize the hair transplant and hair regrowth protocol route. In other videos, I've stated many times that it may be the best decision for some people.
I can also understand why you think I'm spreading my virtuosity as a one-size-fits all solution, but in reality, I really plan to cover all the perspectives and decisions one can make when it comes to make pattern baldness.
However, I simply can't cover all the nuances of every decision for every video -- that would make every video 40 minutes long.
The reason I often promote embracing baldness is that most people can't afford the time, money, bodily strain and effort that is required in a hair regrowth regimen (a life-long commitment).
Feel free to give me some concrete suggestions of how to navigate this topic going forward, I'm intrigued to hear how I can be more sensitive.
Also, you're welcome 🙂 quandary is a fun word!
      Cheers,
      Kaz

@@AberliteGrooming "The reason I often promote embracing baldness is that most people can't afford the time, money, bodily strain and effort that is required in a hair regrowth regimen (a life-long commitment)"
Under this argument, your perspective does make sense for those who cannot afford it. In Argentina, where the average monthly salary ranges between USD 300-USD 500 and the 2023 inflation was the highest in the world (211% annually), a hair implant becomes a luxury. For people in this situation, it is understandable to accept going bald and settling for it. The key is not to turn it into a coping mechanism, meaning not deceiving oneself, but also not getting depressed about the truth of the matter. At the same time, it's good to have a positive attitude similar to what you presented in your video.
Note that baldness is a male physical attribute that is highly rejected by women, but in some men with a certain facial symmetry, it looks good on them, as exemplified by celebrities like Jason Statham, The Rock, Bruce Willis, Vin Diesel (setting aside their fame). Clarifying this reality to your audience is positive because you inform them that it won't turn everyone into attractive men. And although your message seems to lean towards an internal locus, it's evident that we are human beings where both the perception of others and self-perception are important.
If you ask for a suggestion... check out the "Wheat Waffles" channel. You can delve into the issue like the redhead does... but with your optimistic and personal touch.

@@Gianny1985Thank you so much for sharing all that with me, I really appreciate you fleshing that all out 🙂
And yes, I'm always just trying to walk the line. I often try to give excellent tips on how people can maximize their appearance when bald, but yes, facial symmetry, head shape, beard coverage etc. will always play a part.
And like I say in this video, I think you officially get de-classified as "conventionally" attractive once you start shaving your head, but of course, if you're brutally handsome, it'll matter a lot less.
I'll try to show this balance in upcoming videos, but just know that I can't always go into all the details every single time. This video is about "are Bald people attractive?" And not "what type of people make the most attractive bald people?".
Thanks again, great conversation and input 🙂
      Cheers,
      Kaz

4:47 everyone cares about the superficial things, whether they say so or not. Generally good video but this is pure cope.

    • @AberliteGrooming
      @AberliteGrooming  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

I'm glad you liked the video ☺️, but I'm going to respectfully push back on that:
I feel like your own perception and experiences are influencing this perspective. I personally don't believe it's entirely reflective of reality.
There are MANY people that value personality, character, emotional maturity, intelligence, and paternal qualities over the superficial things.
Yes, things like money, conventional attractiveness, the need for protection etc. will always be stressors -- whether intentional or subconscious...
But, there are two different types of people here:
      1. People make these things a requirement and attach value to their potential love interests based on their lack or abundance of superficial things -- these people often realize they are doomed to fail because their expectations are too high.
      2. People who primarily value someone who can fill their emotional and intellectual needs. Anyone that knows REAL, mature women knows that this is the case.
For the 2nd type, things like money and security are still "important" for survival, but these are very far down the totem pole of importance for them. Plus, physical attraction is often based on compatibility, not whether one is conventionally attractive.
Be someone that can listen, validate, and effectively help to weather the storms of life -- you will stand out above the rest as a life-long partner (to GOOD people).
For some, this will not be enough, and that's fine. Search NOT for those that base your value on vanity metrics.
If you don't believe non-shallow women exist, I believe that's quite nihilistic, and I'm sorry that you haven't met the good ones yet.
      Cheers,
      Kaz

Maybe you should ask Elon and Jeff.
Too many hair transplants taking place without consideration.
      1. Are you taking meds?
      2. Are the meds causing side effects?
      3. Are the meds creating stability? (Too many doctors are performing HT without having their patients on medication for at least a year to assess
      if the loss has stabilized.
