If you want to lose weight flour isn't a good choice when making desserts. It has a high glycemic index and it contains a high amount of carbohydrates. It's especially unhealthy when combined with oil.
@@maymay-sq1ix White rice has high glycemic index but if you eat white rice with other things such as vegetable & protein sources, the glycemic index of white rice will come down, that's why many Asian ppl still stay fit even when they eat white rice 3 times a day. Everything is not black & white, not just because this one thing has high glycemic index so everyone should stop eating it cause it is supposed to be bad for the health in some opinions. shiroyasha coconut is definitely not bad. It really depends on what is your goal - to lose weight or to just keep it on the healthy side. If it is weight loss, i recommend just bring any oil to minimum, as it is high in calories. However coconut oil has a lot of benefits and it is definitely way healthier than sunflower oil for example ;)

So many people complaining about the calories ... well, when you are trying to eat healthy or lose weight, having healthy "baked" desserts as opposed to mere fruits in your back pocket is extremely helpful. I cannot emphasize enough how making desserts healthy has made it possible to stick to a low calorie diet (and I'm using this term losely)! So a big thank you to TheSeriousFitness! If you want to make it lower in calories, I totally get it; here are a few substitutions: 1. Stevia instead of honey or sugar (0 calories) 2. Almond milk (35 calories) or water instead of low-fat milk (water makes for a very fluffy end result) 3. Applesauce, pumpkin puree, or Greek yogurt for the oil (or simply reduce the amount of oil; I NEVER had to use 2 tablespoons of oil for crepes or pancakes of any kind!). I suggest replacing about 80% - 90% of butter with yogurt; leave a little bit behind for that buttery taste and texture!
I am diabetic so instead of honey I use stevia and oat flour or whole wheat flour non bleached instead of bleached flour and if you are worried of the calories just eat one crepe instead of all 5.

Oat flour is actually not any healthier. Unless you’re using an organic oat that is also glyphosate free.. it’s very harmful to you. Along with many other pesticides they spray in oats. I’ll tell you a secret, I only know of one brand that has this.. so you might want to stick to regular flour

White whole wheat flour is whole wheat flour made from the whiter and milder type of wheats instead of the darker and nuttier variety. So it is actually whole wheat and white afterall :)
@@anaccount9439 whiter and milder tipe of wheats? Never heard something like that, but today, everything is possible, wheat is not what it used to be before gmo and all those things...sorry but Iam not convinced in this..good luck :)
@@marinamandaric7872 White wheats that white whole wheat flour is made from were produced by cross-breeding wheat types so that they don't express the gene that gives the the nutty taste and dark bran colour to the wheat kernel. They were bred so because as a whole wheat flour, it fits the taste buds and esthetics of the US population more than the regular whole wheat flour that way. They've been grown in Australia for decades, though. But I do get your point, I'm also suspicious about non-traditional stuff. I don't even have white whole wheat flour in my country, haha, but I check recipes in English for healthy stuff and it comes up. I go with the regular whole wheat flour instead.
Where I live we don't have it. I have seen they use it a lot in the US. We either have all purpose flour or whole wheat flour. Our white flour is never whole I am afraid. If it were I would use it.
I started eating this way and I got even thinner than I want to be. These recipes are amazing for weight loss! They have whole grains, nuts, two eggs, some yogurt, and fruits. This stuff keeps you full, it's not like the usual desserts that you eat a big piece and you wanna eat more. There's a lot of fiber in them, you can only eat little and you're satisfied. Plus they taste great!
If you want a truly low-calorie and healthy snack I suggest you have rice or corn cakes with some 0 fat yogurt and maybe some fruit on top. (either get a white yogurt and add fruit or fruit yogurt and nothing or a matching fruit, otherwise it sucks) Rice and especially corn cakes are very good btw and they are basically like crunchy bread so give them a try. They taste really good with just about everything on top so i suggest you buy them if don't have them already

Kinda sad how many nutrition experts we have in the comments saying you can't lose fat without exercising?! Lies. The whole point of weight loss is to be in a caloric deficit, meaning you eat less than you burn. To know how many calories you need to sustain your weight, calculate your BMR and count calories from activies throughout the day. If you do not exercise at all, the average BMR is around 2000 calories. For example if your BMR is 1800, you need to eat 300-500 calories less. You can go further if you can persist, but don't go below 1000 as that is too dangerous for your health. Exercise isn't what makes you lose weight. It's a tool to help. If you eat 2000 calories and burn 150 through exercise, you'll lose 7*150 Calories a week, which in total is a third of calories in half a kilogram ( 500g/1pound is 3,500 Calories) That means, weight loss is 80% food, 20% exercise.
I wouldn’t really call these ideal for weigh loss. It seems kind of high in calories. I would at least attempt to use almond flour and almond milk. Maybe some stevia. 🤷🏼♀️
@@rach2708 does it really matter if someone puts a small spoon of oil? it's still healthier than butter, so if someone can't afford those superfoods but still find healthier solutions, so be it. Oat flour is actually not any healthier. Unless you’re using an organic oat that is also glyphosate free.. it’s very harmful to you. Along with many other pesticides they spray in oats. I’ll tell you a secret, I only know of one brand that has this.. so you might want to stick to regular flour
These comments are really something else he’s not making these for weight loss he’s making it so that if u are on a weight loss journey and been avoiding a lot of deserts you can have them without feeling as guilty as u would if u ate it the normal way
This is the BEST and easiest recepies i have ever seen ..Thank you
you're welcome
The nutrition factor for all recipes is appreciated!
Very nice 👌
I really loved the ideas. I am definitely gonna try. Can I substitute the 'apple sauce' in the brownie with something else?
the choice of background music is 🔥
I get cravings a lot so these are perfect!
Sweet but not too much sugar.

Easy crepe recipe:
3 eggs
1 1/3 cup of milk
2/3 cup of water
Mix it all together and cook it over medium heat they’re really good and very easy to make :)
*(in my house we use powdered milk so we use 4 tablespoons of powder and 2 cups of water ((and 3 tablespoons count as one cup of milk)) so I made conversions and I hope they’re correct*
I think that this recipes have any bad ingredients, you can make sustitions for your health (the abs), only change the white flour by coconut or oat flour, the extra banana (neverrr you use), low fat milk by soy or coconut milk, honey neverrr, the best is stevia, lords ❤
my low calorie pancake
1 banana
1 egg
¾ cup of oat flour
1 tsp of cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vannila extract
2 tablespoon of water or more if needed
and blend together u can add more topings if you want also it makes up to 5-6 pancakes with just less than 400 calories also it taste so good👌
White whole wheat flour? .. flour can be white or whole but both at same time, dont think so...
An account same. I really could care less if my muffins look a bit brown. And I feel like the brown whole wheat flour is healthier
Where I live we don't have it. I have seen they use it a lot in the US. We either have all purpose flour or whole wheat flour. Our white flour is never whole I am afraid. If it were I would use it.
THESE RECIPES ARE GREAT! YOU GIVE ME SUCH GREAT IDEAS FOR COOKING AND BAKING! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!!
How is this supposed to be ideal for weight loss?!
The key is moderation. The second recipe is 190 calories per serving which ist perfect for dessert or as a snack.
White whole wheat flour ≠ healthy
But, whole grained flour is yeah
😂😂😂😂
They’re meant to be healthy alternatives, and it never says ideal for weight loss. They’re ideas for replacing something full of processed sugars.
رائع جدا!! شكرا لكل ما تفعلينه من أجلنا, إنها وصفات لذيذة و صحية 👍👍👍هذه أفضل قناة للطبخ شكرا لك 💗💗💗
Amazing.. please make some vegan healthy desserts too if u can 😊
yes sure
If you want a truly low-calorie and healthy snack I suggest you have rice or corn cakes with some 0 fat yogurt and maybe some fruit on top.
(either get a white yogurt and add fruit or fruit yogurt and nothing or a matching fruit, otherwise it sucks)
Rice and especially corn cakes are very good btw and they are basically like crunchy bread so give them a try. They taste really good with just about everything on top so i suggest you buy them if don't have them already
theres always that one recipe u dont have and ruins the idea of making it
U mean ingredient?
I will definitely try these but i will use almond or oats flour instead of whole flour, coconut or almond milk instead of cow milk, just greek yogurt without cheese..

“ADDS WHITE FLOUR AND VEGETABLE OILS ... !!! 😩😩😩
You must be kidding !!
what's wrong with oil? good veggie fats for you.
Hahahahah that’s what I said!!!
Flour and vegetables oils..
It's like you're reading in my mind. Sorry but I can't see anything healthy in those recipies.
White whole wheat
Veg oil has hidden calories that's why many body builders use pam spray to cook their foods. It's not that its unhealthy but it adds calories which you don't need.
Thank you for including recipes in the description!

I agree they are healthy , but never for wheight loss !
Ferahri I eat 1200 calories a day and lose weight without exercise. I might start exercising again.
I wouldn’t really call these ideal for weigh loss. It seems kind of high in calories. I would at least attempt to use almond flour and almond milk. Maybe some stevia. 🤷🏼♀️
Made the banana cake last week for the first time and it was delicious! Made it at 4-5 times last week! Making some more in a few minutes
Since when is vegetable oil healthy??
Ariza Zara or flour?
@@michelletorres4066 yes.that one looked processed too!
unsaturated fats, wich our body needs.
Mii Kay get your unsaturated fats from healthy things such as avocados and nuts, not oil.
@@rach2708 does it really matter if someone puts a small spoon of oil? it's still healthier than butter, so if someone can't afford those superfoods but still find healthier solutions, so be it. Healthy also means happy, so we shouldn't stress ourselves thinking we should only eat this healthy thing over that healthy thing for it to be good for us.
I tried crepe and it's yummy thanks
Also brownies , it's good but i put a dark chocolat on
Just because its healthy doesnt mean you will lose weight. Too many calories. Just workout and eat less bread
It's called moderation. You're not gonna eat the dessert everyday, but it won't hurt to have a bit every once in a while.
2:35 you don’t have to cut a banana into thin slices before putting it in the blender! Just rip it in half and throw it in 😂
No hate! This was a very well made and helpful video! ❤️
Do the nutrition calculation and you might as well have a proper desert 😂😂😂
