Video sounds like the nomad is a little quieter

@@williamboggs1682 They’re extremely close at the shooter’s ear, but what you’re hearing is the bullet breaking the sound barrier down range. Different atmospheric conditions can cause that echo to sound louder or quieter, so some of it could just be the way the acoustics were hitting the trees and bouncing back. In person, they are so close the average person wouldn’t be able to tell any measurable difference with their ears. This can also be said about the Otter Creek Hydrogen-L. All 3 are nearly indistinguishable to the human ear in DB volume, although there is a slight tonal difference between all of them. Anyone without be extremely happy with any of the 3, and they are all 3 precision rifle cans. I can highly recommend any of them. 👍🏼

The TBAC seems to have a little bit more recoil. Have you found that to be true? Also curious how both do with first round flash and flash mitigation over all.

It might, I haven’t really paid much attention to the recoil of each. I can tell you this much, the Magnus tames-down my 5R .300WM with 210 Bergers to the recoil of a .308 with 168’s. It’s a huge difference.
