"As Young as You Feel" is a 1951 American comedy film, adapted from a story by Paddy Chayefsky, which explores age discrimination in the workplace. John R. Hodges (Monty Woolley) is a 65-year-old printer forced into retirement despite being capable and passionate about his work. Hodges devises an ingenious plan to challenge the mandatory retirement policy by impersonating the president of the parent company. He dyes his hair, disguises himself, and infiltrates the company, ultimately changing the retirement policy and inspiring others. Thelma Ritter portrays Hodges's daughter-in-law. Marilyn Monroe, in one of her earliest films, appears in a small role as a secretary. Constance Bennett plays the company president's wife.
This is the kind of old school black and white film from the past that really impresses me. You don’t see movies of this quality these days
ABSOLUTELY the CUTEST Movie 🎥 Life was so simple back then People actually had Clothes on and RESPECTED Family…
Watching from Virginia 🌹
Wow, this is when movies were movies. I really enjoyed this movie.
very sweet. Monty Woolley is just a delightful actor, and everyone was very good.
What a delightful movie. Monty Wooley never disappoints and Thelma Ritter is a gem and so is David Wayne. Interesting to see a young Russ Tamblyn.

My late father told me that before he decided on going to see a movie, he checked out who was the music director.
This still hold up as a clever and very funny comedy. The era just adds to it and the message is even more true

I enjoyed Thelma Ritters performance in Pillow Talk (playing Doris Days maid.) Such fun!
She is great and was married to Tex Ritter and their son was John Ritter. 😊

Did anyone say anything about Marilyn monroe?
This movie seems to be made from some play.
Too Silly !
Jean Peters as the daughter of Thelma Ritter? Sorry, it just doesn't work for me, not even in a movie.
Silly comment shows you know nothing
