They didn't come out and say it's all a dream
It's a shame because Metropolis looks amazing in this game, even though we rarely spend enough time on grown level to take in the detail. It's a retro futuristic art deco wonderland filled with personality and is in line with how the city is depicted in the Metropolis posters we saw in Arkham Knight. But it just feels wasted in this game. I can easily see myself flying around this city as Superman.

Im so sorry you chose to play this game, man, I understand that this technically takes place in the Arkham games, but it just feels like such a downgrade from what we previously got and I chose to pretend that it doesn't take place int he same universe. Honestly, if this game didn't take place in the Arkham-Verse and was set in its own separate continuity, then it would've been better received since it really didn't need to be connected to the Arkham games at all.
Let's be honest, the game would've been much better, if it was just a single player game. I mean, at best with an optional multiplayer mode like the old Assassin's Creed games. The story is actually pretty good (I don't see how any actual DC fan would have a problem with it, considering the multiverse is a thing and it has been a thing for over half a century). I just don't understand why on earth Rocksteady decided to make into a full-on multiplayer game (and used the laziest and most ununique ideas possible).

I played this game as well and I never finished it. After killing the Justice League (that is not the end of the game, believe it or not) I just stopped and had no intention to continue lol. I liked the first Batman encounter tho. Living a true Batman experience from the eyes of a criminal is always great. But making it a Arkham sequel is absolutely ridiculous. This game is NOT canon, I don't care what the developers say 🤣

The game has a fun gameplay with great graphics and its cutscenes are crafted to perfection which is the best part of the game and the characters design are top notch, it’s disappointing for me as an arkham fan (especially harley’s old cake) but still it got way too much hate.
yeah i can agree with that, the look is 100% good its just that the gameplay itself is the same thing over and over again
