"$100 million per day". If companies actually spent more money on better cyber security then the hackers would not be able to continuously hack their systems. Going cheap in the beginning always cost more in the long run.
Precisely what I was thinking. The amount of money circulating through the medical industry is incomprehensible. Even if you're only judging by the amount they spend lobbying. Yet they don't think to put a sizeable amount of that towards cybersecurity? To protect their wealth (and ours - not that we matter).
We need healthcare reform. Over 100 million Americans are in medical debt. The United States is one of the only developed countries that does not have universal healthcare she says the government's only helping the system and not the patients... Of course they aren't helping PEOPLE. Makes me so mad!!! Whoever hacked the billing system are my new heros. I love it .
This is upsetting for the people, but United Healthcare has been in conflict with many of their providers due to contracts. They don't want to pay their providers a fair amount for caring for their patients. United Healthcare denies claims and made the highest revenue out of all insurance providers. United Healthcare is a horrendous and I doubt they care about anything except their bottom line.
Good thing we have AI tools. 😂 HIPPA laws never helped me. A bunch of blabbler mouth nurses. I got out of the hospital, and my personal information was all over the place. Then I have to hire a lawyer to make a case? That's bull crap. America health care and insurance is nasty.
Forming a base online for patient access to medical records and communucation with doctors and nurses, it's just a violation of HIPPA law waiting to happen...
Advanced A.I. can be used to hack A.I., which can be utilized to neutralize or "poison" computer code, all of which are used to make humans obsolete. It's just the way it is. Enjoy! 🙂

yeah its crazy....some IT security guy would cost about $65 per day if they would hire someone
Problem is most of the protection is retroactive rather than proactive

This has been going on for weeks now and this is the only coverage I see, I can't get my family's prescriptions and I can't pay out of pocket either.

You never know... Can't rule out that they didn't hack themselves 😅
Fire the CIO and I suspect they didn’t report to the Security Exchange as well as a Disaster

I don't care how much money they are losing. That's what's wrong with this country.
Suspicions of intelligence agencies soar. It could prevented.
Welp, there is a CISO and CIO job open

Long as it was only on billing I see them as heroes.
Not all heroes wear capes lol
Healthcare providers are not getting paid. We can't process claims for advanced care being approved. This is terrorism.
