      That’s not what I felt. Hearst rising first, played his card too early. Al rising last meant he had the last say, plus walking away meant he won that exchange with Hearst speechless

    Ian McShane is in the top 3 underrated actors of all times. Deadwood is a masterpiece painting wrapped in a profanity laced mud hole filled with whiskey.

    Interesting how Hearst is initially presented as a polished gentleman but as the story moves forward his true sociopathic nature is slowly revealed.. Deadwood is genius

    It's my opinion that NYPD Blue was the finest cop show ever, and one of the greatest dramas ever made.
    So this show is a no brainers, and never disappoints.
    There aren't many who can write characters that you can both love and hate in secession or oddly at the same time. Mixing the profane, foolish,innocent, stupid, greedy, vulnerable, and desperate into every episode, in every scene, and sometimes in each person...
    Simply amazing.

    He drank 5 shots and finished off the bottle. I'd be shit-faced at that point. I wonder if they actually drink liquor on the show or if it's iced tea or water with brown food coloring or something else.
