    do you connect the both green wires and then add another wire going to a ground or the black wire ?

    You can also ground it in the illumination wire if you hooked it up

      +Ashauni Samuels the safety on the head unit requires a "double pulse" to activate. More of an on-off-on. Wiring to illumination has worked in the past but does not work anymore.

    Doesn't the HU's on-screen bypass method work on this HU?

    ok sorry, may seem a dumb question but let me see if I got this right. I need an on-off toggle switch, hook the green wire from the deck to the power on the switch, then the ground to the negative on the switch? (avh4100-nex)

    Noice. But you should have shown exactly what wires you're talking about an actually show them.

    is that a momentary switch or a on and off switch?

    • @jamieburkitt7803
      @jamieburkitt7803  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jamie Burkitt. Alright so simple as green wire to switch then from switch to ground? that should enable the dimming option correct?

    • @jamieburkitt7803
      @jamieburkitt7803  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Dustin N. i think you mean brake bypass, if so, yes
