    With the way yours is functioning I would get a momentary switch that is constantly on. When you get that screen, pushing the button turns it off and releasing it turns back for you. What you have obviously works, but the momentary switch has the edge in this instance.

    You take the green coming from stereo into the toggle switch and the brown comes out the other side of the toggle switch then lands on the chassis of the radio for ground purpose. You just can't leave the green wire grounded all the time because as soon as the radio comes on if the green wire is grounded it will block the video this is why we use the toggle switch the turn on the ground only when the radio has been turn on.

    Nice video and i quick question. I installed the bypass and also hooked up the gps antena to the radio, but when I am driving i cant use TH-cam or miracast, a screen shows up on the screen telling me that i cant watch videos while driving. Is that because I hooked up the gps antena to the radio?
    Thank you.

    what type of toggle switch did you use? Does it have to be cleared for use with any amp usage? Like 10amp or 15 amp toggle? what kind of wire did you use?

    If you left the problem untouched (don't add a relay or don't ground it to a toggle switch like you have in this video), does the stereo not allow you to tap the screen at all, basically leaving it useless, or does music continue to play but you're just not able to view the screen?

      @kbaldeo 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can hear the audio only in DVD mode. Radio and USB are fine. Just eliminate the problem altogether and get a double pulse relay. Quick and easy set up and no toggle switch.

    • @rbautista7
      @rbautista7  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Green from radio goes to toggle switch and the brown I use comes out of the other side of toggle switch and lands on the chassis to complete circuit

      It is called brown wire! He used a 22 gage wire that happen to have brown insulation. Any wire would work even jumper cable wire would work.

    easiest thing ever.. no need of a relay like some use nor the other bypass thing.. i had mine grounded and cut and i would twist it together but with a toggle switch seems cleaner look and easier.

      You cant ground the wires no more (modern stereos its the law) only on them Chinese junk stereos (pink wire) the reason why you cant ground it is the stereo wants a pulse just like when its connected to hand break when you release the hand break that's the pulse to the stereo, you can check out my TH-cam channel for car audio videos etc.

  • @dougstyles5091
    @dougstyles5091 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    why not just ground the green wire?

    why not just leave it grounded

    • @rbautista7
      @rbautista7  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I try but the radio was to smart. If you leave it grounded it will know.

    • @rbautista7
      @rbautista7  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's when the radio first comes on that if the wire is grounded that it will know you are trying to bypass it. So it needs the switch.
