Hagrid companion is just HP bonus for some people, so it doesn't really matter for them, beside you are free of any movement control spell so you can avoid getting targeted early although this strat is kinda useless facing early "Double Thunderstorm" which is mostly the strat of almost every Thunderstorm type Hermione echo user
