These "lease" programs are a way for these companies to get drivers to haul their freight AND cover all overhead. And when the driver goes broke, they get their asset back to "kease" again.

Does your truck make loud beep alarm noise when signal right, I thought man, that would be a trouble on shifting if it was so loud over the engine.

That's not really a way around it because if you can't choose your dispatching service then you're not a true independent operator. All those owner-operators that you said have those dispatching services and factoring companies they got to shop around and find out what was the best for their situation and when they don't like the situation they can leave the situation and go to another service that is what the difference that they're talking about in that law.

They didn’t do this to target truckers. They’re doing this because too many people are abusing the independent contractor deal. Next time you’re at the fuel pump and you see a raggedy ass box truck with a magic marker name on the side ask that driver if he’s driving for a truck owner as an “independent contractor”.
I know a guy that owns trucks, his drivers are “independent contractors”. He pays them them then they don’t pay taxes, workman’s comp, pay for health insurance.
So when they fall off the truck he washes his hands of the situation and says they’re an independent contractor! Then then go to the hospital and don’t pay their bill because they don’t have health insurance, then after that they’re screwed up and can’t work but they don’t have workman’s comp or unemployment so it’s off to the disability office.
Then throw in Uber Lyft door dash etc etc etc and you have a lot of people in that “independent contractor” category.
And this wasn’t a big deal until the affordable care act. That’s when this all exploded.
Because of all that they are coming for the leases on truckers.

Why are rich people & Corporations forced to pay employment taxes for the little people? Why should they lower their & their families life style for people who didn't go to college and make straight A's?

I've noticed a long time ago how there's a strip mall everywhere with the same shit in there like mattress firm etc. I can be in a walmart, and not know what state I'm in. One thing I see alot in small towns that still looks independent is donut shops.
