sounds like the button was on the flight controller and now its stuck in dfu mode which is a pre boot mode. Need to find a way to unstick the button. Can't give you direct directions for that, just trial and error.
I'm also noticing a lot of HDZERO videos, not only do they have a lot of breakup, but I keep seeing skipped frames or stuttering in the footage. Are you seeing that in the goggles too or is it just in the DVR?
The flywoo goku aio is a good board for a 5in1. I do have one of them I haven't been able to get working normally though. That is 1 of about 5 i have bought. They are pretty expensive at about $100.
I am not familiar with those goggles. Most analog goggles should work. Not many of our current micro drones come with spektrum, likely have to add a spektrum receiver to make it work with that radio.
Thank you. Is it really a split s? I feel like the split s has more invert than I did. I haven't confirmed, but I thought the new connector was going to be backwards compatible. I have some of the new connectors and batteries enroute.
I converted all my whoops and whoop batts to GNB27’s, and while better than ph2, I haven’t been thrilled with the consistency. Some fit very loose, while some you have to grunt to get together and apart. You can adjust the loose ones somewhat by spreading the male pins with an xacto, but the tight ones just undo any adjustment you make.

Hi after some weeks with my radiomaster boxer on simulator i am planning to buy hdzero goggle and a drone, i was in the idea to get an analog tiny as my first drone to be able to fly in my appartment with a 65mm but the cost of a good analog receiver (speedybeee or tbs fusion ) is something to add to the already big price of the hdzero goggle + drone so i am thinking to take this one do you think it's a good idea ? or maybe take an analog receiver + the analog version of this drone or another ?
Having to add analog to the hdzero goggles does increase cost + antenna, likely $150. A more budget friendly choice is this whoopfly with hdzero. At this time I would recommend the whoopfly with hdzero for indoor flying over anything I can think of in the moment.
@NickBurnsFPV that says alot after all you've flown. I think I'm gonna buy this one instead of finding something from China in the mob 6 or 7 for hdzero.

they need a walksnail version. You mention finding that crash footage is harder because of turtle mode, with walksnail its easy, because each time you disarm it creates a new video file!
They have a walksnail version. I opted for HDzero, I have had a high number of walksnail whoops on the channel, wanted to change things up a bit. Is there a change we have to make to have disarm/arm start a new file? Or is that goggles DVR specific. I have found walksnail goggle dvr footage doesn't sync well with flight audio camera. I haven't found a fix for that issue.
@@NickBurnsFPV I have the walksnail VRX, i'm not sure how it works for the goggles. But when I arm/disarm it creates a new file on the VRX and the VTX/DVR.
yes, freestyle or racing, pretty much all quads will do both. At the top levels of fpv the type will make a difference but for most of us its just a matter of flight desires and our own skill set.

easier or harder to fly? I would think this is easier to fly as the center of mass is closer together and the difference in age with advancements in betaflight and components they all respond better.

maybe, just maybe last an igow season. Igow and learning the tricks can be rough on our whoops, the weight likely makes doing some of the later igow stuff really really challenging.
This looks pretty cool! Is the camera tilted a little though? It seems like the footage is 10-15degrees tilted to the left. Current scale appears to be off too
Yea, that could be although the holes for the hdzero camera are just that holes, the walksnail camera holes are slots allowing for that horizontal movement. I kinda feel like we could be seeing the camera lens housing itself, but I have not seen or noticed that in previous hdzero nano cams.

My example has gusts of winds around 10-11mph which does push us around some as expected when flying something that is all up 50 grams. The TH2 can run both 1 and 2s, so it will be more responsive on 2s but not as responsive as this on 1s.

Very good review. Are you willing to share your rates? I love indoor flying my betaflight M85X with vista and I just bought a M85hdzero, but I am still not entirely happy with my rates. I cannot find a setting a setting that gives me enough precision for quick proximity flying and gap chasing and at the same time doing precise but quick rolls and flips. If the super rates are high enough for the rolls I am losing a lot of precision around the center. Using some expo was up until now not really the optimal solution. That's why I would really like to know your rates, because you manage to do both tasks almost perfectly. I am well aware, that practising is the key factor, but I think finding the correct rates is very important, too.😊
Not to my knowledge. This doesn't come with a dji 03 or air unit lite option. I don't believe the integra goggles can accept any other receiver modules.
I thought it was more a limit of the design intent. They have camera holes for both the hdzero nano and walksnail camera, so that was thought through. They did add some rubber o rings to vibration isolate the AIO from the frame and vtx. But yea, repairs are going to be less friendly than our traditional whoop setups.
Huh? Super nice? Watch the outdoor video and look at how it looks out of focus all the time. How it looks fuzzy and like it's trying to focus constantly but never settling in true clear focus. It's awful. That's the problem with HDZero. You fly just 50 feet from yourself and this is what you can expect! If he tried flying across the left hand side neighbors fence, down by the creek, then tried flying around the neighbors house, it would go total colored sparklies and probably Rainbow screen of death ☠️ and he couldn't make it. Not even around the neighbor right next door! Penetration is worse than analog. I just do not understand why so many people like HDZero! In many cases it's worse than plain ole analog! 🫣😢

Hey I was installing a micro axii on this and I seen a vtx button on bottom of my FC so I held it and plugged my battery up hoping to change my vtx out from 25mw cause I can't do it in the osd but now FC dosent beep and won't work when I plugg in
sounds like the button was on the flight controller and now its stuck in dfu mode which is a pre boot mode. Need to find a way to unstick the button. Can't give you direct directions for that, just trial and error.
How often did you have to repaint your walls and replace your photo frames??
Its been years, the pictures fall off the walls from doors being slammed :)
Does is support radiomaster t8 lite , thank you for the video
No the t8 lite has the cc2500 which does not support elrs or crossfire/tbs which are the only two protocol its available in.
@@NickBurnsFPV thanks for your work
I'm also noticing a lot of HDZERO videos, not only do they have a lot of breakup, but I keep seeing skipped frames or stuttering in the footage. Are you seeing that in the goggles too or is it just in the DVR?
In my footage? I haven't noticed excessive breakup or missed frames. Maybe I don't have the eyes for it.
Thanks Nick! I am interested in the Analog AIO - F4, ESC, ELRS + VTX on one board? 😋
You can buy a MUCH BETTER AIO from Flywoo. Ultra lightweight. Non SPI ELRS. More than 5 amp ESC's. Just a way better board...
Check it out. 👍😎
The flywoo goku aio is a good board for a 5in1. I do have one of them I haven't been able to get working normally though. That is 1 of about 5 i have bought. They are pretty expensive at about $100.
Could I fly this with a spectrum radio and a analog goggles from Motion rc?
I am not familiar with those goggles. Most analog goggles should work. Not many of our current micro drones come with spektrum, likely have to add a spektrum receiver to make it work with that radio.
Great video Nick! Love the Split-S!
Bummer to hear GNB is going to be phasing out the GNB27 connectors for the A10.
Really I just moved all my batteries to gnb27 😢 I guess bt2.0 moving forward

Can I use an XM+ with the analog version?
Damn that thing boots! Your a good pilot!
AUW similar to an EMax Tinyhawk 3. But, HDZero and ELRS. This might be my dream quad.

can foam be dyed?
Great new take on the whoop, would love to see one in person
Nice looking quad, I'd buy one just based off that. I like the nice clean look, those motors look damn sweet. Always love watching you rip around, Funny that you were using Actual rates for a bit, I've gone back to BF rates and actually am currently trying out yours and they are definatley in the direction I needed to go. Thanks for the video, might suggest the analog version to a friend that's new to whoopin! Happy flying! Cheers!

Thank you.
I think I'm gonna buy this one instead of finding something from China in the mob 6 or 7 for hdzero.
does this have video stabilization for cinematic flying outdoors?
Not built in. We would need to put the video through something like gyroflow.
@@NickBurnsFPV but it looks very smooth in your youtube video? Did you do that before posting?
@@highestvirtue1892 No. I don't do any post flight video stabilization. For review purposes everyone needs to see how it is and if they want to manipulate the video after that is there choice.
Yeah I got big stuff to fly but it's pretty much been a whoop way of life for me since I discovered the tiny but mighty whoops a few years back and I could go on and on how they're one of the greatest inventions ever even the swallows like to fly friendly with them when you're zipping across the sky
We have Jessie Perkins aka Mr. Tiny Whoop and Dr Ben for the whoop wonders. They are pretty much the founding fathers.
@@NickBurnsFPV Didn't know of Dr Ben but Jesse is my hero hope to meet him one day I was able to recently get through to him on Infinity Loops live stream of which you were apart of I gave him a bumper sticker idea that he hadn't thought of but he liked I think he said he might do it

they need a walksnail version.
@@imothy I will have to investigate. Might not work for me using the flight audio camera to sync the files.
what googles are you using with this tiny whoop?
hdzero goggles. they have an internal hdzero module
Can I use this for a freestyle drone? I think it is quite fast
yes, freestyle or racing, pretty much all quads will do both. At the top levels of fpv the type will make a difference but for most of us its just a matter of flight desires and our own skill set.
Can you please make a top 10 video for the various categories of drones you have reviewed.
Because even with watching most of your reviews i still cant work out whats best. Thanks
are the goggles 2 and tx16 compatible with this?
no. Goggles 2 is for DJI video transmission this is hdzero digital fpv.
I'm excited to get mine, it looks really durable which will be good for me as I've been destroying frames and props like crazy with my hard floors (laminate on concrete slab)
Should hold up better than our traditional whoops for sure
Will they be selling just the frame separately?? I can't find it on the site
I don't have that information. But I have seen their other quad frame available separately. I suspect the frame will be available after the first run or two of making bnf.
bro this whoop lowkey rips, way to go sub250.
yep, not a top whoop performer but very robust and flies nicely at its weight.
Hay Nick what do think is best choice for HD whoop currently? (Walksnail & HDZero)?
Walksnail if image quality and penetration is top priority, HDZero if latency and slightly lower weight.
@@NickBurnsFPV I have both systems I was more looking for a particular whoop to get then decide if I want the HdZero or Walksnail version as I never noticed the latency.
I do have the Mobula6 HdZero and pretty unpowered and was looking for something with more power for igow etc.
@@ChrisCroft77 If we move up to 40mm props and 75mm frame we will give much more performance. Otherwise we can go with 25000kv motors on the mobula6 and also run biblade props on those 25000kv motors. The mobula 7 would be a good one to look at, I believe there is both versions.
I started out on the Mobula 7 HD. Wondering if Nick or anyone else here can offer their opinion about whether it is easier or harder than the Mobula for someone building up their skills.
easier or harder to fly? I would think this is easier to fly as the center of mass is closer together and the difference in age with advancements in betaflight and components they all respond better.
@@NickBurnsFPV Thanks for insight.

I’m looking into buying this kit but the site has noreviews and is from the uk, I don’t have anything wrong with the uk but I don’t like that it’s from another country. Has anyone bought from the website and how was the experience? Can I trust it?
A good beginner FPV for me after one month of simulations.
This is an interesting one! How does it compare to a Tiny Hawk2?
Completely different product.
Plus, tinkhawk 2 uses proprietary parts. You must buy them from Emax. I never buy quads that use proprietary parts. They only use those so you HAVE TO BUY THEM FROM THEM! Which sucks.

@@DaveWilliams988 Nice, did you have to transfer a cli over or did it come ready to slide right in?
@@NickBurnsFPV Hey Nick, I had to grab the custom CLI from Sub 250's website. I picked the ELRS Avatar version and all I had to do was put my binding phrase in, set my arm switch, OSD and it was good to go. One thing that is weird is that I am not getting RSSI dBm. LQ is working though but not really a big problem since I just cruise around the outside of my house and don't go too far with it.
BTW I am getting a little over 3 minutes flying outside with the GNB 550's.

Facts
Jeez that flying is good!
Nice, too heavy for my taste, but looks like a tank and that would last a whole Igow Season.
maybe, just maybe last an igow season. Igow and learning the tricks can be rough on our whoops, the weight likely makes doing some of the later igow stuff really really challenging.
Your reviews are awesome pls keep going
This looks pretty cool! Is the camera tilted a little though? It seems like the footage is 10-15degrees tilted to the left.
Current scale appears to be off too
Yea, that could be although the holes for the hdzero camera are just that holes, the walksnail camera holes are slots allowing for that horizontal movement. I kinda feel like we could be seeing the camera lens housing itself, but I have not seen or noticed that in previous hdzero nano cams.
Do u fly in air mode?
Yes, he always flies in air/acro mode
Awesome! This might be my next one. The I got Meteor75 is not at all durable.
yeah, especially the VTX. the plug you put the camera into is especially weak.

But most important how much does this whoop cost? And do you want to sell this to me
I don't sell quads, there is a link in the video description to the manufacturers shop as well as any other shops that carry the product. I wouldn't fly it in heavy wind. My example has gusts of winds around 10-11mph which does push us around some as expected when flying something that is all up 50 grams. The TH2 can run both 1 and 2s, so it will be more responsive on 2s but not as responsive as this on 1s.

@@mercurymoyes4018 I I am not familiar with soft seal. I suggest doing a test spray, to make sure it dries dry and not tacky or sticky. Also don't spray it inside of any connectors, that could cause connection issues on reassembly.

you should make a video on the "rotor riot vision 40" nobody is making any on it and it makes me sad

I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
I am well aware, that practising is the key factor, but I think finding the correct rates is very important, too.😊
covered my rates here. th-cam.com/video/llpHcWQx8q8/w-d-xo.html
Can I use my dji integra goggles with it
Not to my knowledge. This doesn't come with a dji 03 or air unit lite option. I don't believe the integra goggles can accept any other receiver modules.
Adding HD sounds like an afterthought. What a pain having to take it all apart to update or download video.
Hauling!!!
I didn't think I would be able to manage must pace at 52 grams. nice little surprise.
are you recording that with the goggles? the videon quality looks super nice im jealous
Huh? 🫣😢
@@KOrnhOliO1 to me it looked better than analog
not sure about the penetration i guess analog can have more cause you can get stronger outputpower but for a tinywhoop i guess it doesnt make much of a difference
