@@vintage6346 However, a lot of that could be due to their anger at spending years being deluded and deceived. For many years, I noted discrepancies in the teachings of the WT but used to just think "oh well, the GB knows best" and would ignore it and move on. However, once they started repudiating massive amounts of former teachings I had to give pause and reevaluate. Keep in mind that when I was a kid (60s and 70s) and even into the 80s we would debate problems with some teachings as they were released. Additionally, a lot of us had read The Studies in the Scriptures and recognized that Russell's writings were occult-like. We would also gloss over the lie of how the WT had "foretold" The Lord's return (Presence or Parousia) in 1914. In reality, Russell and The Society had "foretold" The Lord's enthronement as occurring in 1873/1874 and that 1914 would see the final end of Armageddon (a later revisionist history created by Rutherford). Most current Witnesses are unaware of the fact that 1914 is a McGuffin used by the GB to establish their entire provenance. As Eric noted, Satan is working to limit the completion of the number of The Seed of the Woman and the final Sealing thinking he can thwart God's purpose and delay his time in the abyss and final destruction.

Eric, Muchísimas gracias. I had left the WT's grasp after 40 years starting from when I came to the U.S. from Scotland in 1974. I left Christianity altogether, cursed God and became a firm agnostic. After picking myself up a few years ago, primarily due to your bible commentaries, my love of truth was re-kindled. Thank you truly as your videos not only expose the errors of the JW doctrine but point to what the scriptures really teach. It has proved to be a painful journey mainly because of losing my family but worth it in the long run.
I'm glad you recovered from agnosticism. It's a road to nowhere. Online, I'm in contact with many exjw's who have completely lost their faith. Even quoting a small appropiate scripture text seems to make some of them angry. Agnosticism is not a good place to be. I, too, lost much because of Watchtower. I had faded down to only attending Memorial for several years. Then one Memorial, with me in one of the forward rows, the speaker actually looked at me and said,... with a nasty smirk on his face,... "And some only show up once a year at Memorial, as if that were going to save them". Whoa! But, I think I still attended a couple of Memorials after that, always attending at different venues where the elders of my congregation wouldn't be in charge. Finally, I decided to read Crisis of Conscience and Ray Franz' other book. And a couple of months after that, I found Eric on TH-cam, presenting his first Spanish video. Yes. I watched the whole thing in Spanish, my second language. I was wide-eyed. Nice to meet you here.

Perhaps it's from among apostates( that think and accept teachings not presented at that time ..by the Governing Body)that such life giving provisions come.
Unity of true worship resumes with those who have come to life again.
Whilst in that Dead condition they had no appreciation of what had gone on..
Had no sense or understanding of what had been taking place..
Once awakened..they get to learn what they had missed..
There is no alternate arrangement for worship in the last days represented by the Temple visions in Ezekiel ( 47)and in Revelation(11)..
It's not superceded..it continues on into the new earth under the Government Jehovah prepared in advance..
With an administration we can be confident because they are fully tested !
So we need not grieve..

What’s interesting is how many times that scripture has been used a “get out of jail free” card over the years when a teaching has been changed. I remember vividly one assembly where the speaker said “ don’t worry if you do not remember the teachings of last year. What you are be taught is relevant to you right now” I am slightly paraphrasing. That basically gives them license to change any teaching.

Excellent point on the “adjustment” comparing to tuning the dial of radio. So my jw family, friends are constantly tuning the dial trying to catch the info, but never can. Logically thinking, any sensible will be so disappointed if the tuning will not work well, will even bang the radio to check what is wrong with it.

Spot on. Yes most JWs have put there faith in the Org. and not in God. One Elder and M/servent both said at a group meeting "All we have to do is follow the G/body and we will have everlasting life" I was thinking (what happened to following Christ). So as you also say when the Org. goes down, there god will be gone. You are a fine Brother.
When did they go so wrong? Some time around the mid 70s would be my guess.
I can’t attend the meetings, I do remote sometimes because I’m 71 and haven’t been able to let go fully yet. I’m not the brightest so it will take time.

I am amused by the fact that one group of people who believe in a magic book is accusing another group of reading the magic book the wrong way.
Always, always adjustments, new light etc. Really? I became so tired of the adjustments that I stopped listening and started to think what am I really learning. I used to think that my thinking must not be very organized, because I couldn't keep all the "new light" straight. Lol.
The new light shows that God is with Jehovah's Witnesses as He prepares us for the New world. God does not give false religion new light. They remain in error. They continue to believe in false doctrines like the trinity, hellfire, pagan holidays, voting and pledging their allegiance to a flag. They totally are not ready to enter into the new world. But God refines us and makes our best better. Just as Jesus did in the first century when he addressed the 7 congregation in Rev .chapters 1-3. . He told them of things that they needed to change. Jesus did not tell any other religions of things that they needed to change. But he was only concern with his people. He allowed the other religions to remain in error. It is the same today.

It was Fred Franz's doing and there is a Time Magazine article from 1980 that proves it as well as the hundreds of life experiences to be found online and in book format.
@@laurentianvmx1692 Oh, really. I challenge you to examine any religion. You will easily find that every religion has had to make adjustments to their teachings. Check out the first 3 chapters of Revelations where Jesus addresses the 7 churches. Some of the churches he gave commendations, but to the other churches he told them to change some of the things that they were doing. As long as God has imperfect men shepherd his people, mistakes will be made. Which is why in the new world, it will be Jesus who will be the king that will guide us. Just as it was purposed by God from the beginning. We will have a theocracy. A God ruled government. That is the kingdom that we preach about when we go from door to door.
I watched a video where Tony Morris said they need to build 16,000 new Kingdom Halls and that puzzled me because they are closing so many around the world (and branches) and don't have much to say about that publicly. They are trying to get people to donate money and one of the best con's is the building work. So the rank and file think they are expanding the org but in reality they are just selling many of them behind the scenes. Now that is just slimy.
I am still investigating why Eric was not given a chance at his judicial committee hearing.
Fear. That is why they will never give any of us a chance to use the Bible.

I wonder do the leaders of the Watchtower know there running a scam. Or do they really believe what there saying.
Interesting question. Did the Pharisees know they were wicked when they killed Jesus, or were they so deluded that they were at a stage of self-deception? Either way, they were punished for their sins. I like to think that somewhere deep down in the back brain of these men a little voice is crying out, "What the hell do you think you're doing?" but they squelch it.
along with the radio analogy: Yeah, you adjust it to make it clearer, but if the station you were trying to make clearer was 95.5 and you went to 107.8, that isn't an adjustment. THAT IS A CHANGE.
My mom and aunt became witnesses in 1954, so I had gone to the hall from the time I was 2 until I was a little over 30. I will say that I will be eternally grateful to my mom for emphasing that our faith should be in God, not the men of the congregation or NY. So, now after another over 30 years of NOT going to the Kingdom Hall, but reading and absorbing that the bible itself says versus what those ever changing idiots in NY say, my faith in God and his son is unbreakable.
The Bible students may have begun on a good path to finding truth amongst different Christian teachings. I believe many had this sincerity among them. That is great, but instead of leaning on Christ and the scriptures fully. They came up with new doctrines not scriptural hence not finishing there foundation on bedrock. Which is Christ Jesus and the word of God. A foundation that is mixed of sand and rocks here and there will always have issues. Once I realized this I had to rebuild and strip off many teachings. Keeping a few good building material’s though. As followers of Christ we should always test whether what we build with is inspired of God and not.

It's quite a shock when you begin to realise many things you believed for years are false. It has become clearer to me that Revelation was about events leading up to and including the destruction of Jerusalem. I no longer look for fulfillments of prophecy in our day.

down to our time-If we work hard at keeping clean(eg-what we read,watch,listen to,play ,do ,talk about etc) in Fathers eyes-He listens to our asking,seeking,knocking...The holy spirit from Father,through Jesus ,is our teacher..

@lindacrowder2619 - There is no evidence to show that the book of Enoch is inspired. In fact, there is evidence to show that it contradicts the Bible in multiple places. In my opinion, you can read it like any other book that is not part of the inspired writings.

The JW’s have lost it ever since Rutherford has taken over. If they would have stayed with Russell’s understanding and build on that rather then demolishing it they would have been better off. Russell was not correct in all his teachings but he was much more correct than what the JW’s are today

It seems to me that Jehovah's Witnesses operate much like the Roman Catholic Church. By that I mean that the members of each organization are taught to place their belief in the organization rather than in the word of God. That teaching will be the undoing of both JW and RCC and I see that it is already happening in both organizations.

What about the scripture that says “ there will be a new heavens and a new earth”?
But doesn’t Daniel 12 say afterwards there will be a resurrection in that chapter?I think the key to understanding is the mention of the resurrection.After the fall of Jerusalem, the resurrection didn’t occur that time.

I do believe the Watch Tower has taught the basic truths such as the nature of God and his son, the truth about there not being a burning hell, but I do know there is now deep corruption with the leaders of the Watch Tower. I honestly believe God has used the WT to spread these basic truth but as scriptures indicate corruption would later follow.

A righteous one’s speech is well-thought out, and considerate. By knowledge he is rescued because his integrity furnishes him with the points of reasoning needed to show that all his accusers are liars.
Whatever the reason apostacy constitutes a rebellion against the true God and rejection of his Word of truth. Any spirit anointed ones that turn apostate have no future.
As far as a new world is concerned a person would have to be totally illiterate not to understand what the bible teaches about God's purpose for mankind.

@anniesavedbygrace - Yes, many lack a correct rendering based on the interlinear. That is why it is so important to be cognizant of the interlinear and look at it frequently. So much is missed by translators.
It's not incorrect. The literal "sons of" is equivalent in meaning to descendants without reference to gender, which is why different translators use "children", "your people", etc.

Thanks Eric, you make some fine points as the org vacillates on long held teachings. I’ve long held the view that soon the org will have to separate from the 1914 thing. The new generation of converts won’t mind the “adjustment” so much, as the current generation passes off the scene.
I’m not too sure about the ending of the video where you have Jesus and the 144000 walking the earth, and New Jerusalem descending from Heaven. Seems too far fetched to me. I believe there is some symbolism there. If Jesus is ruling over the “Christian Congregation” today, he is certainly doing this remotely, with the holy spirit (lower case 😂) doing the bulk of the work. I certainly don’t have the answers.
A man walking around restoring sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf, and raising the dead also seems farfetched to many, but we are talking about the power of God, so don't sell him short. 😍

Puzzle pieces of the Bible are put together by different ones to produce what they want to see. The truth is in the middle. Most wouldn’t like it if their illusions are dashed when all pieces fit. By the way, what sort of creature was Jesus when he was on earth compared to after his resurrection and materializing? He had to be totally human and after death given an immortal spiritual body that could materialize. Is this what the holy ones would get? Paul experienced being on earth in body and yet in heaven. Have so many questions, hopefully will get the pieces out together right. Will they have dual citizenship?

Wow, listening to this guy, makes me glad that I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He fulfills so many scriptures about how blind people will be. And how people will interpret the bible from a physical perspective. He totally under estimates the power of God's spirit in revealing the scriptures to whoever he wants to. Even to the untaught and unlettered.. He has become wise in his own eyes.
Take for example the thought that he said that Jesus will reign over the earth, in the flesh. He thinks it is impossible for him to reign from heaven. But this is what he does not see. If Adam and Eve did not sin, then God was going to teach and guide mankind from heaven. God was not going to come down and set up a building and teach from there. And occasionally God would have sent Angelic messengers to fulfill a certain task. It was never God's purpose for mankind to abandon the earth and live in heaven. What God is doing during the 1000 year reign of Christ, is getting back to His original purpose to have mankind guided and taught from a Theocracy or God ruled government. God never purposed for man to be in a world where the devil was misleading mankind. And as Isa.55:11 says, whatever God purposes to do, it will be done. And as of yet, mankind has never been under a Theocracy.
Everything about the 1000 year reign of Christ is exactly what God purposed from the beginning. Man would be born. They would not get sick or die. They would not be misled by the devil. Which is why he will be abyssed for 1000 years. There will be only one true faith. One world government. One language. No money. Families would be united, knowing their ancestry from 1000's of years, because their relatives would still be alive. And then there would have been a final day of judgement for those who decided that they did not want to do God's Will.
We never had a life like that. But we will during the 1000 years. And then we will be able to say that God fulfilled His purpose for mankind. And what Jehovah's Witnesses are teaching is that God is getting back to His original purpose for mankind. And it will be by way of the 1000 year reign of Christ. Jehovah will start the 1000 year reign with the survivors of the Great Tribulation. Rev.7:9-17 And gradually there will be a resurrection of billions of mankind back to the earth. It is because of our bad experience dealing with the devil that Jehovah will allow a small remnant of people from mankind to rule alongside Jesus. (144,000) As the bible says about Jesus, he is now more qualified to rule over mankind because of his time on earth.
And God has chosen a group of people or a faith, to be the foundation members of this New World. And why did God choose Jehovah's Witnesses? It is because we get it. We understand His purpose. We are not believing that a rapture will come and all good people will go to heaven. Which is one reason God did not tell anyone in the Old Testament that they would be going to heaven. And for that matter, he did not tell anyone in the Old Testament that they could burn in a hellfire. God loves and is concern with ALL of mankind. And by far, the majority of people who has ever lived will be resurrected into the New World. Because God does not desire anyone to be destroyed.
And while this guy here is making videos attacking JW, he fails to see that the interpretation that God has given JW about the coming New World is the most loving, and merciful, and just outcome that we can hope for. And that is, a real chance at everlasting life for mankind. With Jesus as our leader.

@@BeroeanPickets Glad to reply. First you wrongly suggest that it was Jehovah walking in the Garden of Eden, talking to Adam. This is where understanding the bible comes in. It definitely was not Jehovah in Eden. It most likely was Jesus as the word of God, or an Angelic messenger representing God. There have been times in the bible where an Angel spoke in behalf of God and the Angel called himself God. And why? It was because he was speaking in behalf of God. At Ex.3:2-4 it plainly says that it was Jehovah's Angel that appeared to Moses from the burning bush. Then it says in verse 4 that God called out to Moses from the bush. So either God is a Angel or the Angel spoke in behalf of God. Also in Gen.32:24-30 we know that Jacob wrestled with a Angel. But Jacob and the Angel said that Jacob contended with God and saw God face to face. Well, we know that Jocob did not wrestle with God, but in dealing with a representative of God, it was as if he was actually dealing with God. So to the point; As I said before, there may be Angels who may materialize for men during the 1000 year reign of Christ. But their is totally no need for them to take on human flesh and live on earth to instruct us during this time. And also, Adam and Eve situation was different and unique. They were all alone in the world. They had no earthly parents nor any other humans to guide them. And so it was appropriate for God's representative to make earthly appearances for them.
And also your understanding of the Great Tribulation is way off. In Dan. 12 it sums up over 1000 years in just 2 verses. It says that Michael with stand up, and then it talks about the Great Tribulation, then it talks about the resurrection and the 1000 year reign of Christ. These are the major events that will happen. The tribulation in 70 C.E. was not a major event. Nor did it result in all flesh being killed except for the chosen ones. Many people in the world alive at that time, did not know that a tribulation even took place.
And as far as the 144,000 being symbolic: The bible does not call them "THE" 144,000. As if this number represented a particular symbolic group But in Rev.7 and Rev.14 it says that Jesus was with 144,000 people. And this certain number is in keeping with how God is organized. Whoever reigns with Jesus will be orderly and exact. It will not be an unnumbered amount of people that keeps get bigger and bigger.
And the proof that God chose Jehovah's Witnesses is from the preaching work that we do. Jesus gave the signs of the last days. He mentioned several things to watch out for. For instance, he said that there will be earthquakes and wars to name just 2 things. Now, we have always had earthquakes and wars. But these 2 things will stand out as different from any other earthquakes and wars throughout history. And do I need to tell you about the world wars and great earthquake that have happened during these passed 100 plus years. The same goes for the preaching work that Jesus said would be done during these last days. You can deny it if you want, but the world will tell you which religion has taken the lead in preaching about the Kingdom to the world. And this work can only be done by Angelic help and through the guidance of Jesus. And Jesus would not choose a religion that he couldn't rely on to do this work. And as far as all of those things that you say prevents us from being chosen by God, some of those things are what the bible says will seem foolish to men and others are some things that we as imperfect man has done and ceased from doing it.
And lastly, again you are mistaken about God's Love and Mercy and Justice. We know that God allowed a flood to kill everyone on earth except 8 people in Noah's day. Including children and babies. He will do the same today. Billions will die in the Great Tribulation. But as Matt.12:31,32 says that every sin will be forgiven men, except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. And these people in Noah's day or those who die in the Great Tribulation, did not blaspheme against the Holy Spirit. Which means, they will be resurrected. And Armageddon is a war between Jesus and his Angels against the demonic kings of the earth. This is what you miss out on by leaving and attacking JW. New information just keeps making things clearer and better.

You are in disagreement with the teaching of the Organization which teaches that those who die at Armageddon are destroyed eternally with no hope of a resurrection.

You totally ignored what I said about Adam being alone in the Garden of Eden and it was appropriate for Angels to materialized to guide him. But your limited insight cannot guide you to understand that this will not be necessary in the New World. In Rev.20 it says that Gog of Magog will try to attack God's people at the end of the 1000 years. Because they dwell in peace and seem vulnerable. And then fire came down and destroyed them. Then Rev. 1:7 says Jesus is coming in the clouds and every eye will see him.....and they beat themselves in grief because of him. Now think about that. If Jesus was already here guiding his people, why would anyone think it would be ok to attack his people? But if Jesus was in heaven, then that would be a different story and when Jesus does save his people from the attack, can you see why people would beat themselves in grief because they see him coming in the clouds. Coming to exact punishment for the rest of those who refuse to accept his rulership. It is speculation, but this is where insight comes into play.
Also, and at Acts 2:17, it says that God pours out his spirit on every sort of flesh. A lot of us are now coming to the understanding that those who die in the Great Tribulation and in the Flood of Noah's day will be resurrected. When I first got baptized, I heard a story about a brother who disagreed with some of the teachings. He tried to get those in charge to listen to him and he got frustrated and left JW. Well, later on, they did change the teachings to exactly what he was saying it should be. But he was out of the truth and was complaining about our teachings and the devil had a hold on him now. So the moral of the story is that he should have recognize that God is with JW, and where he certainly had the gift of decerning scriptures, he should have waited on Jehovah to address the matter in question. I have had some disputes with some of the teachings and one by one it has been changed and adjusted to what I and others thought it should be. You obvious have the gift of discernment. But your methods of dealing with them are very wrong.

Jeremia Kapitel 31 . jhwh ist allmächtig und allweise. Er wusste von Anfang an daß israel untreu sein wird und dennoch liebt er es, wie uns Heidenchristen. israel wurde bestraft und zerstreut aber nun kommt es nach hause.
