It was the first RE that they tried to make a compeling story, with multiple campains and emotional moments that live up till date, like Chris/Pears ending. And the gameplay is addicting, makes you want to get better and do some cool shit. In conclusion, a good action zombie game, but a horrible Resident Evil.
I was gonna uninstall this fucking game from my Switch after I beat all the campaigns. But the extra costumes, the ability to play the campaigns as the side characters, the extra game modes... I get it now. This game was really built with replayability in mind. And it doesn't even feel forced to me. Like I just wanna play the campaign again as Ronnin Chris and Capcom racer Piers because even though I'm playing on Solo, the game is just chill to play. Like if you honestly needed an action game with not a lot of thought to kill time... RE6, jump into a campaign you want and just play around. I'll hold onto it after I start Ada's campaign, cuz now I wanna replay it with Chris and Pier alts

Piers was the best part of this game's story, and they just have to ruin it by killing him. Jake was decent and Helena was forgettable at best, they don't hold a candle to Piers yet he was the one who just have to die. What a waste.

Never say never. Wouldn't mind an update with no inventory limit or ammo not taking up so much space. It's an action game but everything grinds to a halt to dump sniper rounds to pick up herbs

Its not a traditional survival horror Resident Evil Game, but its a damn good 3rd Person Action Shooter, and the Mercenaries mode is the best in all RE games
Wow that's disappointing when you expect skins even more unique than the older other RE games yet, they just have different colors of two outfits and a old generation skin for each one. I suppose resindent evil 4 and 5 are the only games that had very special and unique outfits that even some of them contained abilities. I'm like wow is this because of another rushed to develop and sell kind game or they just didn't give a damn about skins this time....
There are 9 characters dude and technically there are 4 each on costumes. If you are on PC then there are the left 4 dead characters as well. Older res only had to make costumes for about 1-2 ppl.
The characters that weren’t in the ps1 and 2 games should not have retro outfits, like jake and sherry should have had their white outfits from story mode.
They had so many missed opportunities for outfits in this game. Say Leon’s rpd re2 costume, Chris’s stars outfit, Ada’s classic dress, and maybe even a young sherry. Even jake could dress like his dad!

Since multi player is dead other than mercenaries if you want to unlock the costumes i use my ps5 to host a match and join in with my ps4 to give me wins for my main account
People hate too much on six I really like the mercenaries mode for this although most of the costumes are just two color swaps and then a PlayStation 2 version of them
It's a bit funny and great how they put in the 90s graphic costumes to all of them except for Carla And agent. Leon Could've gotten the R.P.D. Uniform 1998 and RE4 outfit. And also, Since they added L4D2, They would've put in a few more Guest characters like, Alan Wake, Postal dude, and Peacemaker.
Would’ve loved to see Leon’s RE4 jacket outfit. Also they really passed up on the chance to give Agent a Hunk skin. This game is fun but Capcop just really didn’t have any passion for it at the time. Definitely not like how they show that passion now.

I 100% agree I can see why nobody loves this game whatsoever I hate to say it the only thing it has going for it is an okay storyline cuz I think Jake is a great character that should be brought back into the series and not just looked over and I'm not going to lie they could have brought clear Redfield I understand that they're excuse was that she already started in Revelations 2 and there would be no need for her to be in this game but I'm like how are you going to make a reference to Claire Redfield in one part of the game and not have the actual clear Redfield in this actual game over a new character I don't really feel too good about Chris and this whole entire story about his new partner and the reason Chris is whole entire team keeps dying off is because they suck at dodging clearly these people do not know how to dodge as for Leon he was okay but to me Jake and Sherry's story was far more enjoyable
Same, I can agree with people here but it's just so fun honestly. Especially when you play with people but the downside is that sometimes it looks like multiplayer on mercenaries is dead or something.

I love when games let you wear alternate outfits skins or costumes but among all games this games costumes suck a lot they are not even interesting and they look like bought from discount costume store resident evil 5's costumes were awesome and the 4th game's too Leon deserves cool outfits not a pirate outfit so does Chris remember the skins in 5 sheeva was looking smoking hot while Chris was being classic or badass
Really hope for a different costume for 1 and 2 instead of recolor...
Dude they could have made Leon and Helena's costumes so much cooler, maybe I'm missing a reference or something by is it just 2 pirate costumes? And I felt just as disappointed with Helena's to be honest...
