Great Video! I did not know about this model. I've had a pair of EV ZLX 15P's for about 10 years. I kept them and also bought a pair of QSC K12.2's. I'm looking for a close-range monitor speaker that's small and compact. This just may be what the doctor ordered! Thanks for making this content.
I want to use the speaker as a multipurpose, to play and sing in small venues, just voice and guitar and also the option of backing tracks and my voice, as well as being able to use it as an electric guitar amplifier to play with my band, pass the guitar through a boss gt-1 and direct to the speaker, which one would serve me better? Should I spend the extra on the 15? or it is not worth the expense, really the shows are for a maximum of 50 people
Dude. I just recently used the 8 for all of this in one night. I played a wedding and the singer needed something to play cocktail hour so he used the 8 in a big room of almost 200 people. We then brought that rig from cocktail to reception and I used it for my stage volume. Honestly, the 12 is probably perfect and the 15 may be over kill for your situation. But the 8 was nice because we had a 6 piece band on a small stage.
I’m glad you asked! This is an Ibanez az. I have videos about it on my channel. Usually I will use a coil split setting for those tones but in this case, I have installed Fishman Fluence Scott LePage open core classics! Also have a video about it on my channel. They aren’t wound like traditional pickups. They are actually programmed to sound that way. Pretty cool right?
the only thing i dont like is the very little explanation of the position options. Input options and output option. So I have a quad cortex too. And i have the 15P G2. But the quad uses a balanced output and is considered a line level device. But it also has an FRFR input? And what is the point of having FRFR modes if changing the position mode changes the EQ? wouldnt you use the optional eq to adjust for those settings? The input mode matters. So far I have found line level input to be the best and FRFR as the output. But an in depth tutorioal for the FRFR guitar mode and use with processors to get maximum volume without hitting the limiter really should be done. Thats the one thing no one is showing. Id like to see the rear display when playing under high gain.
Man those are some of the most annoying edits I have ever seen. This is not TikTok dude you don’t need to do all these “wacky” cuts and flashing stuff on the screen every 500 milliseconds. I didn’t even make it to you demoing the product.
Damn! I'm switching my Headrush 8'' for this!
I really want to get one of those headrush 8 to compare to this!.. does this blow it out of the water??

I just replaced my Head Rush 12 with the fender 12fr which was a great Improvement but I lost some volume. How does the EV compare to the fender fr12?
How does the Fender sound, heard great things about it.
@@Ultra7165warmer, less weird midrange, more amp like. Sounds like a wood cab instead of plastic.
@@shredacuda Awesome, what do you run through it. I have a Headrush Core
@@Ultra7165a Helix and HX Stomp XL
I wish you'd compare this with the Headrush mkII since they're similarly built and priced.
Do you prefer the 8in or 12in?
Hi, I have a sm7b but I need to be close to have good sound. what's your configuration for your mic? Thanks
Hey bro, what model of guitar are you playing? It sounded just like a Strat on the clean tones

Does the low end come apart when you crank up the volume? What does the 12” version sound like?

Nice guitar! I have the same one, where did you buy your gold hardware? :)
Thanks for your video!
is there anything that's smaller
Head rush just put out a mini amplifier speaker. Sort of like the boss cantana mini.
Excellent! Exactly what I'm after - the least amt of stuff to carry.
1000W Class D isn't gobs and gobs of power. 1000W class AB would be.
It’s the air. Isn’t it 🤔
Yea. That sounds huge yes yes yes sold lol 🤣
It seems that all the modelers sound almost the same with those speakers..
They are pretty much same it comes down to the the workflow and which interface you prefer, and the form factor
Zakary Cape
Recording direct for a TH-cam demo is pointless when talking about an amp 😂
Ah! Not for this demo. The comparison is in how accurately the tone comes through in the room!
Sounds good but, if it's 1000watts peak, that's really not a lot by today's standards.
Interesting. Why do you say that?? In this price range it seems pretty great? What info am I missing??
How deaf are you for you to monitor your guitar more than this? Just use IEMs if you are still not hearing yourself

You'd be surprised what the average attention span is... He's most likley not doing this because he wants to
