Really nice to see someone else talk about what this game did correctly. I know that Knight's got its flaws, but I really love what it does correctly. Gotham looks gorgeous, the combat is fluid, and feels painful and visceral. I also think that the actual story isn't THAT bad, it just feels a little...too literal in execution. This game isn't bad, it's just flawed, and I'm okay with that.
My favorite part of arkham knight is the Mr freeze dlc I always do it at the end before activating the knightfall protocol Mr freeze has never been a full on nemesis for batman in the arkham games and I like the fact that at the end he was able to help him come to terms with his life.
city is my favorite one. I couldn't stand the batmobile in knight and I didn't even want it to begin with. Running across rooftops was always my favorite part and I didn't want that to be lessened.
Good hearing someone pointing out the good things about the game. The attention to detail is insane, like when you visit the Gotham hospital you can find the bodies of people from the diner at the beginning at the game. The main story was mediocre at best but It really grew on me. The Arkham knight is actually a interesting character if you read the tie in comics
I know some people who are still salty about the fact that rocksteady lied about the identity of arkham knight as they said that he was brand new character but I don't really mind that as they were trying to hide some plot details which as we all know most people spoil movies and games for themselves by analysing every single detail before release and then complain that it was predictable.
Played and finished it just recently and I’m working on 100 percenting it rn if you told me this came out yesterday and I paid a full 60$ I would absolutely believe it that’s how good it still holds up
i try to replay it but as soon as I get to the cloud burst thats when i give up because its just too darn long and stressful of a boss to lose very easily and then start allllll over again when you die.
Outside the visuals this was my least favourite Arkham game and having said that I still beat it 3 times. The only thing keeping me from coming back a 4th time is the over use of the bat mobile and the riddler parts. Definitely had my fill there.
This game is pretty good. The problem is that anything coming out after Arkham city would be put up to the highest possible standards, which Arkham Knight didn't even come close to reaching. I would have actually preferred a game that focused on the Scarecrow as a main villain rather than the titular Arkham Knight. Anytime the main villain was on screen I cringed harder than a 50 year old parent watching their son dance on Tik Tok. It also doesn't help that the boss fights were objectively atrocious in a series of games with some of the best bosses in gaming

The look the combat the story I liked all of those. The bat mobile side quests really let it down but I still go and replay ot often

I 100% completed Arkham knight 3 times including dlc so I'm not going to play the game anymore

Would love to play this againg but yaaa 30fps is unplayable for me after I got ps5 and 90% games have 60fps patches.

I absolutely recommend getting it. It’s always on sale with the season pass. If you can snag the bundle id suggest doing so, you wont be disappointed
