The wooden platform. That wooden platform was for loading the shaker when you don't have the conveyors. You can get the dump truck up to the edge and tip into the top of the shaker. Once you have the loader and conveyor belt its basically a viewing platform .. Also the top edge above the Trommel is where you are supposed to lower the trommel from .. hehe.
One thing i had to do was change the exit key to one far from the digging controls so id stop getting out all the time you might wanna try that as well
you do not actually see the workers. they just give you perks. each day they work for you they gain experience so over time you can upgrade them so you need to look at all of your workers every day. with upgrades the perks they give are better. once a worker is fully upgraded you can retrain them to do a different task. the upgrades and retraining them costs money. the best workers to get are for the sluice boxes. they will switch the mats for you.
I did try it. The problem i had was, i play with inverted camera on Controller, but normal for mouse. So when i switch back to mouse to run around, it was inverted. And there doesn't seem to he a way to have one but not the other
So I'm sorry to tell you this and I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you most likely will never get the Quad. Also the orange beast dlc will be an extreme challenge for them and if you ever get it it most likely will be a stripped down version of it. You will get it all but the draw distance will be horrible and graphics will be at a minimum. The memory is just way to low on the consoles for the game. It just out grew them. They barely got the mini dlc on there and you saw how long it took them to do that and it almost broke the game a couple of times doing it. Do you really want OB or do you want the to optimize the game and make it work for you the best it can?
He's using a keyboard and mouse which makes it more difficult. Like he says in the videos he keeps fat fingerings it😂 A controller is far more smooth for the operating but he's got a good system for the keyboard dig at each angle till you can't then adjust. Not as efficient but it works

There are no drivers im sorry to tell you lol. The works that go on the trucks speed them up, and help them then reduce there break downs.

You really need to buy the water much easier.
I really recommend a xbox controller, easier to dig and control the excavator

First is efficiency you get more cleanouts a day which equals more gold then with more upgrades you get more quantity
