Use the frontend loader instead of the bulldozer. Dump the load over the edge.

@@MrCceaton I'm not sure if it's been patched. But the way the dirt works, using the front end loader or the dozer, the game essentially deletes and creates dirt. But it can't remember the gold values in each cu. ft. of dirt. Also, If I recall correctly from my conversation, they never stated if it was a random gold assignment or if there was an algorithm. Long term, could possibly not really mean anything but if you use the drill, then come in with the front-end loader. What the gold drill showed you, wouldn't be true. Unless of course this has been patched, but from the way CH talks, it probably won't be

Leave the magnetite trailer at the plant and just bring the bucket with you to the plant.
Saves you time hooking and unhooking that trailer. (and you won't damage the trailer tires saving time and money)
well its easier to save up alot in the trailer than going a bunch of times with itty bitty tiny buckets (and faster!)

Could you do another fishing Barents Sea videos I loved those. It would be awesome if you just played that game again not just focusing on the dlcs. Can’t wait for your next video
Put a 5 gallon bucket at the end of your system where the dirt flows out. You might be able to get a lot of magnatight there. You used to be able to do it with the Mobil wash plant.
Drae, i have an idea for tier 2! Can you have 2 washplants close together on the bedrock level, and on top of the wall have a dumptruck filled, and see if the dirt can fall down into the washplants

I have a suggestion, fill the shaker as well. Two Frankensteins, the conveyor belt's hopper and the shaker can all hold dirt. Maybe not a lot, but every little speck of gold is money.

The truck is a 70's chevy
Late 70s early 80s. Fucking Toyota wouldn't be able to pull the fuel tank
chevy trucks had round lights right up to 79, then in 1980 they switched to the big rectangle lights(just 2). Im guessing 82-83 they came out with the quad lighting. FYI- I own a 76,79,80 & 86 chevy trucks. The 80 has 2 big square lights & the 86 has the quad lighting.

That truck is a chevy from the 1980's I had a 1985 4x4 looked just like it but blue colored . It was a flat out beast off road for the years I drove it .
Remember you don't have to remove your entire wash plant for the winter. Just need to remove the parts off of it that can break and stash in your shed

4 Frankensteins, I seen this method work with 2 mobile wash plants side by side. Use the front end loaders wide bucket to fill 2 Frankensteins at once.
In turn they load 2 more Frankensteins which both feed the hopper.
Drae I suggest that before the winter and if you don't take massive loans 😉 you should pack machinery in to the green building so that it is safe for winter and has a smaller chance of breaking so then you can go to the hotel to stay for the winter it's very nice when you don't have to deal with repairs
I bought gold rush and diesel brothers in a bundle on steam this past week for 12$. Got both games, I just wanted gold rush. I already got 52 hours in the game in one week
You can put multiple buckets at once to save time. It won't lose gold

FYI the pickup is an 81-87 chevy k series pickup from Chevrolet or gmc clearly.
do the same thing you did with the bulldozer, but use the frontend loader. It would remove the time it takes you to move around right?
You do realize you have those huge stadium lights on the telescoping pole still right? I saw it in the background right after you said, "I feel like I do most of my digging in the dark".
Piling dirt up on top of the hopper with a bulldozer or front end loader is a thing in a real quarry. Usually the hopper is removed and only the belt is buried under the pile. In this game all the dirt moving equipment is actually only warping and deforming the ground mesh - you aren't really moving a volume of material other than by the numbers tracked by the game. Because of the game's collision detection, when the dirt wall's mesh deforms it collides with the conveyor and pushes it out of the way. Like I said, in a real quarry it IS a technique used to move a lot of loose dirt and stone by conveyor very quickly, but it's a function that would have to be purposely implemented by the devs along with specific animations just for that operation. It shouldn't be too difficult to add into the game, maybe it just needs enough players to request it.
It would be a good idea to move site just after winter since you already have to disassemble everything on this site. You need a ton of money for that though

I'll bet that don't work as ground is a solid mesh which only react on parts that needs to terraform the land.
I am a scripter and 3d modeller myself and i also did some work in Unity, Cryengine and other engines. Also made many things for in Second Life to sell.
The conveyor belt has no mesh with a tag or a particular name to do terraforming, it just has a trigger for stuff that falls off the bucket of a machine (or even maybe a shovel or a filled bucket with potentional paydirt) and from there all just dissapear and the conveyor belt shows you a texture of ground/dirt that lay's in piles on the belt. In other words, what you see in the game is totally faked to make it look like it's doing what we kinda expect.
Nice idea though, but it also makes the game less harder which is not intended.
Also what happens when the conveyor belt get's bugged and turn upside down, it will screw up your land that way.
Probably there are ssome more issues with that but i can guess you can understand now why i think this isn't possible.

best way to improve output - go to T5 and use a excavator, and dig from the top down.

Why not use the front end loader to grab a load at the top and drop it off the edge, no lifting required and u know the dirt falls out

I just want stackable buckets and coiled hoses and cords that actually lay flat. Oh, and realistic interest rates on loans would be nice.

They need to add bucket wheel excavators into the game
Water monitors and conveyor belts would be nice as well. Dredges might be too ambitious if not limited to new land parcels as water mechanics (flooding existing lots) might be too much of a change. But there should be plenty of advancements/additions with respect to equipment, machinery and staff. And maybe even some more detailed in-game statistics (e.g. not only indicate goldcontent of a piece of land, but actually recovered amound, daily or seasonal statistics - not only for gold but e.g. number of breakdowns, efficiency of workers)

Quick Question, at 7:47 if you move the conveyor belt to the dirt itself would the belt automatically feed from the dirt or do you have to load it manually?
Drae, are you going to play Volcanoids? There was a huge update, check it out.
If Drae at least read the comments, he would know that if you hold down the F key, the bulldozer digs down. It was been commented over and over again, sometimes seconds after the videos were realeased, but he didn't read any of it.

I know this was a year ago but did you try and run hog pans at the end of your mining system. I have and you pick up even more gold. Also if you run your top sloush dirt over your hog pan , that returns more gold. Next I am going to try and run the big mat dirt over the hog pan and see if that returns me more gold. Maybe it's like getting as much rubbish off it allows you to loose less gold. Any one have any experiences on this ?

can you not just jam the franken into the wall turned on as from what i see it seems to have a small aoe effect for dirt collection in case you miss, so perhaps you can skip the dump truck part?

Makes me cringe how you dig from bottom to up or so, the falling dirt loses all gold value, to keep all gold you should only dig in layers from top to bottom.
I'm glad you said that as I've been trying to figure this out myself and apparently wasting gold lol. So I'm down on the bedrock in my front loader and ramming the very bottom of the pay dirt "wall" and had assumed all the dirt from the top to the bottom was being used to fill the bucket. What you're saying is the dirt from the top is being wasted right? I should raise the arm and dig the pay wall in sections going from top to the bottom?
@@philosophiccreep Yeah, you should dig from top to bottom in layers pretty much to get most gold , if you ram at the walls from bedrock you lose lots of gold, lots of people have tested this in the gold rush discord, so I'm not making this up.
