I have been binge watching your videos after I recently discovered them. This one has given me some ideas on how to use up those odd papers that I could never figure out how to use. Some are very similar to some of the styles you used in this video and the cards you made with them are beautiful. Your ideas will help me to use up some of those scraps, too. I love how you often use a sketch to start with and alter it to either fit what you have or to match your style. Your tips are very helpful. Thank you for the inspiration! I am looking forward to using up some of my stash.
Thank you for sharing your process of mixing and matching scraps with ephemera and sentiments. To answer your questions, I like the camping ones. I have a lot of outdoor paper packs. What would I want to use up? My scraps are in the boxes next to my desk. I initially color-coordinated them, but I've learned it is better to put the scraps back where you keep full-size sheets because it is easier to pull them out and use them than mix and match from my boxes of colored and printed paper scraps. Thanks again for sharing your process!
I always look forward to seeing your interpretation of the monthly sketch. I enjoy seeing how you choose from your stash of scraps to make combinations I would not have thought of. My favorite is the card with cover plate debossed background and 2 flowers.
I really love seeing the finished cards one by one! Thank you. Def prefer seeing that rather than seeing all the gluing. It’s fun to see how you pair things up and arrange them. Great use of such a lot of different papers and die cuts. I love the protea and pansy flower cards the most.
Love your cards! I especially like that each one is different and that you used leftovers! I have a pile of those that I would love to use up...among a few other things! 😳 Thank you for sharing your creative progress. Have a terrifically blessed day ❤
Hello Ashleigh, I loved your variety and usage of your stash. These cards are fabulous. 📄✂️🌸🙌💕🌈 You did a fantastic job of mixing the ephemera and paper.
Hi, Ashleigh! Happy weekend 😊 I'm usually a cartoon lover, so Doodlebug Designs are right up my alley. Paper Rose does, indeed, make beautiful papers. My favorite of your cards today had the wine bottles and Celebrate as the sentiment. There's something "electric" about the background paper you chose that just ties everything together wonderfully! Having said that, as usual, your cards are terrific, and thank you for another visit full of inspiration ❤
I am awed at your ability to mix and match so beautifully and at all the different themes of the cards. I love the flower cards, as well as the animal themes.
Wow! You just blow me away with your ability to use your stash in such a creative but organised way. I couldn't pick one card. There are just so many that look like you spent a long time matching layers and ephemera. Absolutely brilliant, Ashleigh. ❤
I love how you used what you had and made it work so well. Your cards turned out great. I really love the three lavender ones and the brown one with the fox. I always enjoy your take on the SheetLoad sketches. TFS.❤
This is a perfect example of using a sketch for inspiration. What a fantastic way to use up some of those "orphan" pieces of DSP. I am amazed beyond belief!
Once again, you've knocked it out of the park with these. I love listening to & watching your process as it helps me as well. I have soooo much in the way of bits & pieces that I know I can use, eventually. Lol. Your videos are great inspiration! I do love the rainbow palette, but the more masculine cards - back pack, bear, etc, are my favorites here. Such a great job mixing & matching elements showing how we really can use our stash.
A fabulous set of cards! I always love to see how you pair up different patterns and colors for the final cards. :) Thanks for sharing and being part of the team!
What a great set of Cards! Indeed perfect for using up less loved papers with the solid cardstock on top. I like the first one you showed, standing card with the fox best, but I like many. There are a dozen things in my craftroom I would like to finish, including some paper pads, doodlebug cardstock sticker sheets (I never manage to use the tiny stickers that are not hearts or stars), and some ephemera packs where I only have some smaller bits. Thanks for sharing your video!
U did an incredible job matching up papers with ephemera! U inspired me to go thru my scraps and see how many cards i can make!!! Thanks for the video!!
Interesting! I have purchased a series of the Queen and co shaker kits and am trying each kit, while using my stash of bits and pieces. There is a series of recent videos on my channel. This one has the shaker card creation process:- th-cam.com/video/HhARf_1oYlo/w-d-xo.html
I would love to finish off all the ribbon I collected before I learned it's not my thing. Next I'd like to get through the 12x12 paper pads left over from my scrapbooking phase.
great cards! I think I have stickers to get rid of! Back in the day stickers were the "thing". Now.. I want to say goodbye to them but will not throw them away! I whittle away at them though!
Stickers is a tricky one. Especially when they are the traditional shiny ones made of almost thin plastic. I have some PET tape and washi stickers that I am going to try out. This might help a little.
Oooh. Interesting one. I do have one video using project life but I will give some though to possibly creating another. The link is here if you're interested. th-cam.com/video/IpOYHATz1dQ/w-d-xo.html
@@MintTwistCards thanks for the reminder of this one! I think that’s the best use of the 4x6 I’ve ever seen. I’d also love to see something where you use the smaller size (2x3?) as embellishments/sentiments rather than transforming into patterned paper
I have a bunch of premade cards bases that I bought on clearance. A lot of the have patterns on them. I am trying to use them up when ever they work with a card I am making
I have 4 boxes of ribbon/string that I would love to turn into only one boxful. I’d love to see some ideas of how to use more than just one piece of ribbon on a card.

Great way to use up what you have! I love that you used the paper piercing dies to make your card stock stand out. Beautiful cards 😊
Hi Ashleigh, Great cards this month! I love how you make so many each month!
What a great way to use up your scraps! All of these are wonderful!
Wow! You are amazing! I love how you turn all of your scraps into beautiful cards!!! 😊
I really love the two purple flower cards.

I liked seeing your completed cards at the end. Thanks!
Thanks for confirming. It's helpful to know what people prefer.
Hello Ashleigh, I loved your variety and usage of your stash. These cards are fabulous. 📄✂️🌸🙌💕🌈 You did a fantastic job of mixing the ephemera and paper.
Fabulous cards, the one with the owl is my favourite 😊
I love that one too. It was nice to layer quite a few pieces of ephemera together.
How fun!! Love watching your process! ❤
Glad you enjoy it. Thanks for watching.
Genius. You have so many great ideas I can't wait to try.

You're welcome. I have quite a few doodlebug in my stash too. I should dig some out.
I am awed at your ability to mix and match so beautifully and at all the different themes of the cards. I love the flower cards, as well as the animal themes.
That's so kind. Thank you. I'm having a lot of fun trying to turn mismatch items into something nice!

:). Thanks for watching, and your kind words.
Your cards are A-maz-ing! Your use of what you have on hand inspires me! Like the wine bottle card & the owl. TFS
Thank you so much. I appreciate the kind words.
Love your variety of cards!! TFS!!
Thanks so much!

Pretty cards

Thanks Alicia. I always love creating cards with your sketches.

Hi Ashleigh. This SLOC turned out fantastically. I loved that each one was "different." Outstanding use of scraps. TFS ❤❤❤
U did an incredible job matching up papers with ephemera! U inspired me to go thru my scraps and see how many cards i can make!!! Thanks for the video!!
I hope it goes well.
Will you do a room tour so we can see how you store all your card supplies?
I would LOVE to use up every last bit on the RIBBON I have!!
Ribbon seems to be something lots of people have lots of. Still thinking of some ideas.....
I have a ton of embellishments. Wish I could use them up.
To answer your question I would like to use up my sequins and shaker bits. I got carried away when I first started and now it just sits there

12x12 paper is an interesting one. I have quite a bit of that as well. Ribbon is tricky for sure. It makes a card so bulky. A definite challenge.
great cards! I think I have stickers to get rid of! Back in the day stickers were the "thing". Now.. I want to say goodbye to them but will not throw them away! I whittle away at them though!

I have what seems to be a never-ending pack of Christmas paper. I'm trying to use it up before buying any new Christmas paper.
Interesting. I have loads as well.
Project life cards. I have so many, both sizes.
Oooh. Interesting one. I do have one video using project life but I will give some though to possibly creating another. The link is here if you're interested. th-cam.com/video/IpOYHATz1dQ/w-d-xo.html

Ooooh. Interesting challenge. I'll give some thought. I'm going to assume lots of different bold patterns. :)
Cards turned out nice. If I used something completely, I would probably want to replace it....
haha - this made me smile. I can relate!
I have 4 boxes of ribbon/string that I would love to turn into only one boxful. I’d love to see some ideas of how to use more than just one piece of ribbon on a card.
Oh my gosh. That is a decent challenge. I'll need to have a think about that one!
