FANTASTIC! It really is easier when you use this method. There's no judgement, and it takes the emotion out of the process. Also, there's no "homework." Take It There Now changed my life. No joke. Great to see Melanie in action! 🙂
@@CraftsbyDianne Definite game changer! It's translated to things like if I need to remember to take something when I'm running errands, I put it on the front seat of my car. Then it's done and I don't have to remind myself until I go out.
Melanie was such a kind compassionate coach, way to go decluttering with such joy - I really think having a place who are happy for your donation makes it so much easier for us crafters to share the love around
Thank you! I love doing this work. And honestly my clients need kindness around this. It can feel really shameful to not measure up with untidy spaces and that is often a big roadblock. My own shame around my clutter was really awful and a big secret for many years.
@@EphemeralKeyStudio It really helped knowing that the things I was passing on would find a good use. I have also found that most crafters love to spread happiness! 😁 Thank you for your kind comment! ♥️
Came here from Dana’s playlist. Many thanks to you for being so vulnerable to share this and accomplish all you did. Thank you! Kudos! 👏👏👏 Your coach was very good too.
@@jennyjenkins877 I love my new space! 😍 This session has spurred me on to tackle more shelves & spaces in my home. ♥️ A totally amazing experience and I would definitely recommend it! 👍♥️
Thanks Dianne & Melanie, Your progress was inspiring, Dianne. Finding an outlet for what I no longer need has been a big hurdle for me over the years. I love that you had that covered before you began, so it was more “I can bless them with this”, rather than feeling badly for moving it on ❤
Part of my process In our first meeting we talk about our goals and I often will help my clients look up someplace to donate that they find inspiring. This helps us to let go a little easier emotionally as we can do some good with the extra things we are letting go of.
@@annepinkney6921 Yes, it definitely helped to know that the items would be used and appreciated! It feels great to let someone else enjoy my excess. 🥰
Thank you for sharing your decluttering journey. I need a "body double" just some one to be there to keep me company and encourage me. Right now I can't even get in the door of my craft room. I just found a reuse resource center not too far from where I live (far enough that I won't go to shop) that I plan to take all the stuff I want to donate.
I listen to Dana's podcast as a sort of body doubling. Lots of motivation! And she's started posting them on her TH-cam channel. And as Dana says, there is someone out there who will be THRILLED to find what you donated! 🙂
Thanks Cara! I am so inspired by all you crafters. One of my 2025 goals was to get back in touch with my own creative side. So this collaboration was kind of perfect!
@@CaraBrandonCreations Thank you Cara! So glad you invited me to be a part of this collaboration! 🥰 It's been an amazing experience! ♥️ You're a blessing! ♥️
Dianna, my floor is awful, too I tell my sisters to look in my craft room if DH can’t find me ….ive killed myself tripping over the junk on my floor upstairs! Haha! Good luck!
I'm impressed with her lovely attitude and generous spirit.
