    Okay i don't really understand this, why are the options in this video JUST SO BAD.
    In india, under 200$ (13500 INR) we can get Asus zenfone max pro M1(SD 636, Dual Cameras, 64/4 GB, FHD+ 18:9 Panel, FP Sensor and more!) There are other options too, like Honor 9 lite, Honor 7x, Redmi note 5/5 Pro, Oppo RealMe Etc.
    ALL OF WHICH COMPLETELY DESTROYS THE OPTIONS IN THIS VIDEO.
    I don'tknow much about the phone available in US, but man.. These options are really bad compared to what you can get here.

      Utkarsh thing is, there isn't much of a demand for Budget Smartphones In US, as over there people can afford the premium for the slightly more expensive phones like Motorola or even OnePlus
      Unlike in India, Budget Smartphones rule the country as most middle classes wouldn't want to spend more than the Equivalent of $150 for a smartphone

      Utkarsh
      Budget smartphone market in India is extremely aggressive considering that the most sales are in this segment. Whereas there people can get higher priced devices on contracts and hence the low budget devices doesn't have that big of a market there. We're blessed to have an agressive market but on the other hand, contracts from network providers there gives the access to usage premium phones. Both countries have pros and cons in there types of devices available in there respective markets.

      You can get the Nokia 5 in Portugal for $200. Pretty solid phone and since it's bought from a Portuguese store they're mandated by law to offer a 2 year warranty. Sure, the camera is not the greatest like the Nokia 2 (the processing really, really stucks) but install the Google Camera and you have a full stock Android phone with timely updates. I bought mine for 80€ due to my plan and it's been a great daily driver. It's even running stock Android 8.1 with the May security patch.

    I don't get why Xiaomi phones weren't featured here. They are at a great price (mostly around 200$) and they offer a solid performance. They also offer almost all of the newer features on certain phones, such as the 18:9 aspect ratio (Xiaomi Redmi 5 / 5 Plus) etc. They (mostly) have USB C ports as well. Really don't see their downside, or even a reason for them not to be featured.

    • @stevenwatson8295
      @stevenwatson8295 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fuck man. Lol it sucks being impatient. But come on. The problem isn't with only Moto. But Android also. Oreo has been out for a year. And we're just finally getting it. And 0.8 percent. Have it? If I'm right. And Google is just coming up with a solution? With 8.0 and up? Project treble? Couldn't get it before previous versions. Lol I love Android for it's freedoms. But it comes at a price. With updates. But if you're really so impatient. Get a pixel. If you have the extra money. Like that. But if you don't. Welp. I guess you're stuck like you already know. Struggles of a Android user. Its sad to see people behind on updates such as myself. I wonder if it will ever end. Who the hell always wants to take chances flashing recoveries. It's like swapping bios firmware. Dangerous shit. Especially if it were your only device. I just wish Moto would step their game up. I think Lenovo puts out great quality products. But consistently falls short. With updates. Devices rock solid. Updates solid as promised. Just never delivered soon enough. By the time we get Oreo. It will be already old. And Android popsicle. Will be new. It's ridiculous. And no. Lol I don't ever want a Iphone. Idk if anyone else experiences it. But I get a random dnd glitch and comes and goes. One reason why I can't wait for Oreo. Fucking annoying bug. And I don't care to factory reset. It's crazy for the wait. But I think it will be worth it. I hope. Just got the release notes for Oreo 8.1 Moto g5 plus. Excited. Hopefully not much longer guys.

    I got a 250 dollar Huawei Mate SE and I'm more than pleased. Small bezels, 1080x2160 5.93in IPS display, 4gb ram, 8 core cpu, fingerprint sensor, 64GB internal mem with up to 256GB expandable, 16MP rear camera with 2MP dual cam for wide aperture photos, and a 3340 mAh battery, which the phone sips on. Never had a problem running out of battery in a single day. I'm a power user and I usually fall asleep with 30-40 percent left on the battery. You can also usb, wifi or bluetooth tether without having to purchase the feature from you provider. I am definitely a Huawei fan now!

    I got a Samsung Galaxy C7 for 200$. I'm really satisfied with it. It has a 5.7" screen, 4K camera, 4GB ram, fingerprint sensor on the home button, quad core about 2.0GHz and a 1920x1080 display.

    I'd recommend the Huawei Mate SE or Honor 7x. You might spend slightly over 200 (about 230) for the Mate SE, but those are actually GOOD phones. The Honor 7x has an octacore processor, 32gb internal storage, 3gb ram, 16mp dual lens real camera, and actually feels like a flagship phone. The Mate SE is the same phone, but with double the internal memory and an extra 1gb of RAM. So I'd suggest one of those for a good cheaper phone.

      Gfjfj Ufidi I agreed with you until the last sentence, maybe if you could interpret on what you mean by "equivalent to high settings on PC" as Fortnite Mobile is very low resolution, even when on a phone's display.

    • @thearmyofiron
      @thearmyofiron 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      well...depends on what you mean by very low resolution supersmash235. I don't think fortnite will show 480p on a 2k smartphone

      Flaze07 Just because a phone can display in 2k doesn't mean it can necessarily game in 2k, I think it would be nice though, maybe in 2025 that'll happen.

    Some Huawei and Xiaomi phones cost around 200 and at least you are getting a phone from known brand, not from random Chinese manufacturers. For example, Huawei P10 Lite or Xiaomi Mi A1. Both have 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, decent processors, acceptable batteries and good cameras. Both cost around 200 euros, meaning they aren't much more in dollars. They are great value phones.

    I think the 300$ range makes a lot more sense. Like the Nokia 6.1 or Huawei P20 lite. They will probably last longer with more consistent performance.
    At the 200$ price point, the corners are cut too much in my opinion.

    I recently just upgraded to the Blu Vivo XL3 Plus and I'm pretty satisfied. The camera is pretty decent and the selfie flash is very convenient for people who take selfies everywhere they go (I'm looking at you, Mom.) I do agree that the software could use some tweaking but nothing too bad. The thing that made me love it is that this phone is a BEAST when it comes to gaming. The main game I play is KHUx and gameplay was pretty laggy on my old phone but once I started playing on this phone, the gameplay was very smooth and it was very satisfying. This phone is totally worth it. Not to mention this phone can also have 2 SIM cards which is an added bonus. Overall, a good phone to have when you're on budget.

    One thing to consider with the Nokia 2 is that the performance is so low that it's almost impossible and frustrating to try to run apps from the SD card, performance is awful there and also the phone overheats more than usual finishing on apps closing by themselves really fast. I own this phone so what I do to avoid this is that I constantly move the apps from the SD card to the internal memory so they perform well. It's kinda annoying but it's better than waiting 5 min. for an app to load. I think later Nokia 2 models (2.1 and forward) don't have this problem or at least not at this level.

    Personally... If I were looking for a cheap but powerful smartphone, I would look into getting a used Samsung Galaxy S7.
    Still got amazing performance, decent camera, front-mounted fingerprint scanner and is IP68 water and dust Resistance.
    Also, as the added bonuses of a 3.5mm headphone jack, wireless charging, MicroSD card slot (Up to 400GB), 4GB RAM, and a 1440p AMOLED display.

    Honor 9 lite, honor 7x, Huawei p smart, Xiaomi redmi note 5/ 5 plus Xiaomi mi1 A1 are all solid midrange/budget devices with full HD screens, glass/metal builds good storage etc...when 95% of people don't use a phone to its full processing power why are we all buying flagships that are 3-5 times as much?? For bragging rights? Midrange has come so far in times of performance and build there's really no reason to pay the extra for a flagship anymore imo. Was considering an iPhone but just got the honor 9 lite (less than 200 bucks in UK) and I love it. Glass build, full hd 18:9 screen, fast processor, can run all apps I need etc.
