Sometimes I forget that Austin is really just a big kid with adult money. The last segment where he's driving go-kart like thing around just proves it.
A microscope is actually a great educational gift for kids, I think. My dad had an old analog one and I used to love putting leaves and things under it. Helps bring the science books to life.
I once had a TIRE SHOP do that to me. I called up asking "hey, do you have tires for a '71 Super Beetle" (this was 3 years ago, those tires aren't sold at most places anymore) and they said "we'll see and text you with the details" and then later I got the text *"Vitour Galaxy, 165/65R15, $84/1, $330/4: [the Tire Shop's name]"* And I was like, sweet. (Yes, tires for an old Beetle are less than $100 each) I drive an hour away to purchase said tires, on 4 crap tires (Just bought it and it's my only car), and they go "No, we don't have those, we were just telling you what we would need to order. Would you like us to order some? We can have them in by Tuesday" And so I had to wait all weekend driving my car on dry cracked tires when I could have bought tires online and gotten them about as fast.
The Stylophone is a serious instrument. Ever heard of a dude name David Bowie? his song Space Oddity? You can hear the Stylophone as the vocals start. He was a BIG proponent of it.
Kumara 12:30 one of the best entry level budget mech keebs, downside is it's sautered (not hot swappable) and I think it only comes with blue switches. Although, it's super reliable and good quality, had mine for almost 4 years now.
I have it and it's red switches. I believe the most common one is red, but there's blue and brown options. I can only find blues as another option on amazon, so maybe only on their website for browns. The link in the description for the keyboard also points to the red switch one.
@@Puddlemuck14 ooh! Most of the brick and mortar shops in my area though are mostly blues, and I think when I bought mine (I didn't have any clue with keebs before) there was a blue and red option now that I remember.
The funny thing is that this Ridge promotion with the, um… gold Cybertruck… has actually made me less interested in their products than I was before this promotion. 4:31 "Do we really-really have to say this?" energy intensifies 😅
I discovered this channel a few days ago. For someone that loves tech/games etc, this channel is so much fun. I love all the different and so sometimes weird tech that come by. And the humor is on point. Keep it up.
I got them for my fiancee for when she's at the kids winter sporting events. She loves them so much that it's the only thing that she ever actually keeps charged lol
"the only thing better engineered than this thing" [*Austin looks at the Cyber Truck*] "Is a ridge wallet!" . Yeah, I bet the Ridge Wallet also lets you keep your fingers instead of trying to slice them off in an automatic trunk - Or, ya' know, just outright tries to kill you because the cover on the gas-pedal is cheap plastic that slides off and gets stuck pressing the gas down. Lol
I don't know about the ones in the video, but I've enjoyed having my USB hand warmers for Denver winters. Mine double as 5000 mAH USB battery banks as well so they can be useful after a shorter commute or in warmer weather.
hmm the Stylophone. As advertised in the late 60's / early 70's by the(now) well known kiddy fiddler Rolf Harris. Added a whole new meaning to his 1969 UK#1 hit. "Two Little Boys"

*as a midwesterner that works outside the rechargeable warmers are soooooo great !!!! i have multiples some can even be used as spare power for your cell phone
I can't believe you guessed 67 degrees Celsius for HAND WARMERS Austen! You DO know that 1st degrees burns start at 50 degrees right? I mean, it takes a few minutes at that temp for the burn to start happening, but still. That's why those max out at 50 and even that is a little too high really for direct hand contact that is intended to be used for several minutes at a time.
Honestly, that recommendation of electric hand warmers was actually a pretty solid suggestion. Nothing is worse than having stiff fingers because your hands are cold, there is a reason professional esports players use them.
bro put Digital Food Scales in quotations like he’s never cooked a day in his life 😂 I use kitchen scales all the time… there’s more precise scales for other needs that wasn’t shown ;)
Hey Austin I just saw a product you might want to review, the JSD wireless charging mat. It comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse and the keyboard looks pretty good.
That microscope is is actually quite legit for doing micro-soldering, and is being use by a lot of micro-solder professional. Trading off crystal clear view of an actual microscope, for larger field of view in the form of a digital display is exactly what these activities need. Obviously cheaper one will have less detail than the more expensive digital microscope, but honestly you can get away with just that for something like soldering a capasitor or two
Nerd alert: The answer is because he started the melody on the fifth scale degree and stayed in that scale mode. Because it started on the 5th scale degree, that mode happens to be mixolydian, which is an extremely popular scale for guitarists to use when they solo, so it’s something that you’re used to. Mixolydian also sounds like a major scale, so it’s very inoffensive. Also, he had good rhythm.
@@Rabs1 true, he kept it in key despite the chromatic layout, and the timimg was catchy for a sec too 😂 for a sec I was like.. hang on... he's coooking
BTW, the issue with the first prompt and the reason it didn't show any results, was because it was searching "[keyboard] AND [mouse]". Amazon's search function doesn't know what to do if you search for two products at once, because it wasn't designed to do that. The keyboard and mice that it selected were real though. Granted, the Amazon bot should understand this, and this should have immediately come up in testing, but I just wanted to let you know it's not the bot hallucinating or anything.
Glad to know there's an alternative to the cybertruck. It'd be ridiculous to win a car which can't offroad and is illegal to drive on the road(because it breaks basically all road safety laws in most of the world).
Uhh, you know the Cybertruck is legal to drive everywhere you can possibly win it through this sweepstakes right?
