Using this impressed my hiring manager, helped me crush the final round of SDR interviews, and ultimately land my first sales job in Enterprise SaaS. Just got my offer today! Big thanks!
This helped me land for FIRST tech sales job. Thank you Matt! Definitely made me standout in the interview process (your old video was super helpful too)
Just had a panel interview Roel play call. I nailed the start and email approach. They said it was the best if any candidate. Then I completely messed up the role play. Tough gig 😢
Hey Matt! I just landed my first job as an SDR and I'm stoked about it. I start later this month but know I will want to transition into an AE role at some point. Could you do a video like this for AE's or go over general tips/tricks that will help you make that jump? Thanks in advance, your videos are helping a ton!
Matt, I trully appreciate your advice, I have an interview on Monday, I'll try all these recommendations and hopefully will land the job! I have no words to thank you! God Bless!
@@MattMacnamara nope. Initial exercise was to write one cold email. I did that plus this presentation. Submitted into the portal and also emailed the hiring manager with the presentation. Hiring manager just said, thanks and he got it. That was Tuesday
Hey Matt, I’m building my custom sdr sales plan and I’m confused on the target market slide. I thought that you won’t find out what your territory will be until you get hired and one assigned to you? If we don’t know that part should we just list the ICP and the ICP problems and how the software solves that problem?
If i can suggest something that's been working for me its sending out my application, checking when the employer usually responds and then calling them then. As well as connecting with them on linked in. This allows you to be on their mind and will increase the chances of them being receptive to you on the phone of course, as long as you done this correctly and not insanely frequent to where they get frustrated.
Great analysis 💎 Matt what's the secret to or routines to Never give up attitude ? How some athletes, cricketers from Australia & New Zealand have this mindset of not giving up in tough situations what's the secret & any book suggestions on this topic to adopt those skills..
Hey Matt. I'm just feelign liek this coud work well with maybe 2-3 companies. How would one apply this at scale when you're sending out 30-50 apps a day and having 7-10 interviews a week? Also SDRs seem very unresponsive when you ask them for help. Any tips to overcome that? Thanks.
You are right. It’s not possible to do this when you are applying to 30-50 companies a day with 7-10 interviews a week. I wouldn’t apply at scale. I would pick Amy target companies (10-15 tops) and do this strategy to these 10. As far as SDRs being unresponsive, I would message every single one until I got a response.
this is golden, I have an interview tmw with a big company, and I'm currently building one for the interview, but I want to know if should I send it to the hiring manager after the interview and during the interview and represent the plan during the interview or how it should go?
This worked flawlessly, my man. Just got my offer tonight. (Watched your old video)
Awesome stuff!!
Do you send the SDR plan before Round 2 or if you get to the third stage when you have to do Moc Cold Call?
@@kurtclouden5966 I would send this before EVERY round.

awesome stuff Paul, thanks for checking the video out and glad it helped!
Thnaks a lot Matt. Sending it before my next second round of interview.
Good luck!

This is gold. I used this and directly emailed to the hiring manager as well. They responded they received. How long should I wait until following up?
Did they respond with anything else outside of confirming they received it?

The ICP is the type of company and type of person you are calling on. Example: a cybersecurity company that sells to CISOs at fintech companies
Could you do a video on how to cold call to a recruiter to land an interview? I’m currently applying for roles and trying to find ways to stick out.
Adding it to the list
@@MattMacnamara Yes, please i've done a little cold calling employers and it seems to have a higher closing rate than just applying.

Hey Matt!! Great video. Question: Would this also apply for a Business Development Representative Role?
Yes. It would
Great information thank you for sharing.
