thank you for the feedback. i did nothing, left draining its full battery, and after a while, it showed the signal that it needed a reload. lets see, if it stays that way.@@bytefurther
People that make videos with crappy computerized voices should be made to walk home from Antarctica. Yet another video that doesn't show the exact problem mine has of having the battery image come on the screen when the up volume is pressed. And so far zero of these ever mentions the wireless charging, which mine has done then come on after hours, but when it shut down nothing works. I need the data from the phone so recovery via itunes would not work for me because I can't have it wipe the phone.

Why you press the volume up and power button together? If you intend to force restart your iPhone X, you'll need to press the Volume up button then release, press the Volume down button then release, and then keep holding the Side button until you see an Apple logo.

Another reason could be a very old battery
My mom has been using the same phone for 5-6 yrs and it shut off randomly
Maybe. Then, you'll need to replace the battery to get a smooth battery.

Take it to Apple Repair center to have it examined by the Genius Guys there.

If the dropping is the cause, you need to bring your phone to the Apple repair center to have it examined.

I did all of them but the force restart wont work at all for me. My pc doesnt detect my phone aswell so bad display isnt the issue either
