Hi there, My Iphone is not turning on, the screen turns black/dark (but it is lighted up, there's just no display). None of your tips worked, is it time to get a new iPhone?
Just had this problem this morning. My iphone 13 was on the charger and I tried to turn it on...nothing. I powered on my pc and found this video. I was actually trying to do the reset before I watched this video, but I wasn't holding for long enough or was pushing a wrong button. Thanks I'm back in business now. First time this ever happened.
I left my Ipad Pro to charge while I was outside, and after coming back it just WOULD NOT turn on. I searched through the net and youtube and found out the force reset method, but no where was it mentioned for how long I have to keep holding the power button. After trying everything possible, it still would not turn on, so I assumed that the crack on its screen which I got from dropping my ipad a few months ago, was playing a role in its unresponsiveness. I was frightened and nervous, until hours later I found this video. To my astonishment, it turned on! I am so THANKFUL for this video, keep up the good work!
For the first time I woke up this morning and my 14 pro max would not turn on. It was on the charger overnight so it should have been fully charged but had a black screen. Your first method fixed it and the battery was at 100%. Thanks so much!
this happened to me at 4:30am the day of my exams. i woke up by accident and if i didn’t, the alarms would’ve never went off and i would’ve missed the exams!! fixed my phone from this video, went back to bed, woke up in time for school. thank you guys!

Don't give up- I even held the power button for 60 seconds to no avail-this was my third time trying. On the fourth time, it turned on after 15 seconds of holding the power button. Then I took a clean toothbrush and scrubbed vigorously and did a hard reset. Magic! It came on right away! Thank you so much!

I charged my phone last night and my phone was completely black. The volume button did the trick. I've also been delaying to do the latest software update so I'm definitely going to do that now! Thank you guys for payette-ing forward !!!!

At the 1:23 mark you say to wait until the end of the video as we have not fixed "the underlying issue". BUT YOU NEVER SAY HOW TO FIX THAT ISSUE!!! But thanks, the hard reset worked.
