Actually surprised me, I was sure she was older. Even if she was talking about K-on's manga (which I doubt, I think it only became popular when it got animated), the manga started in 2007. I agree a lot with what she says at the end. I drew a lot in elementary to high school just like her but I barley made any progress in my skill cause I just drew random stuff that popped into my head without much thought. You can't improve your drawings just by drawing a lot. You actually have to be in the mindset of wanting to improve and doing new things to try and make your art better. it is something in have only been doing recently and it helps a lot. Seeing art that you like and taking techniques they use and trying to useit to your own work and seeing the improvements is very satisfying.

I agree a lot with what she says at the end. I drew a lot in elementary to high school just like her but I barley made any progress in my skill cause I just drew random stuff that popped into my head without much thought.
You can't improve your drawings just by drawing a lot. You actually have to be in the mindset of wanting to improve and doing new things to try and make your art better.
it is something in have only been doing recently and it helps a lot. Seeing art that you like and taking techniques they use and trying to useit to your own work and seeing the improvements is very satisfying.

dang I used to draw a lot back in elementary till high school, making my own webcomics and stuff; then when college started i gave up due to busyness as well as just feeling like i'm not good at drawing. seeing marine's progress and statement that she improved after high school is making me regret not continuing, and wondering if i should start maybe even now, with quarantine and all
the time i got the hang on drawing decently was when i was graduating high school.

Oh man, Senchou's artist days in school are so similar to mine it hurts! But it also feels great to know she fell into a lot of the same *cough* pitfalls I did, and still came out a fantastic artist thanks to her diligence and hard work. It gives me hope!
