Great review! The Joe comics are very much worth it, especially for the impact Starscream has on Duke & what Cobra Commander has going on with Energon. All the EU books are well crafted and have me sold on the universe moving forward.
Golobulus- the half-man, half-snake monster who claimed he "owned" Megatron- is the ruler of Cobra-La. Both were introduced in 1987's 'GI Joe: The Movie'.
Golobulus can't imagine how lucky he was that Megatron didn't have his cannon arm. but now after calling him a "metallic beast", "robotic abomination" and "your property" and even taking out his only eye, he is on the list of personal revenge. Megatron will return with a new robotic arm or with his recovered cannon and his decepticons, we will have decepticons vs cobra-la.
Megatron just put a new name on the revenge list, he will get his cannon arm back or get a new one, and he will reunite his decepticons, If we didn't have decepticons vs autobots, we will have decepticons vs cobra-la.
Megatron: I’m coming for you Starscream 😡 Carly: you’re gonna pay for what you did Starscream if it’s the last thing I’ll do 😡 Us the Readers: Who’s gonna tell them 😂
Until now they presented megatron like he's Sauron. Pure evil and corrupts everything and everyone who interacts with him. Yet he was willing to spare that cobra guy. Interesting.
This comic shows how much this universe is growing, i hope we get a drift or shockwave special in the future. Love the vid! And is the sky bound universe connected to void rivals?
Yes and yes. Several G1 cartoon Transformers character pop up as cameos, and Springer will appear as a recurring character in future Void rivals issues
I honestly haven't read Duke so I don't have an opinion on that but I recently catched up with Cobra Commander... And it wasn't great tbh. I heard good things about Cobra, but nah, maybe it's just not for me but I didn't enjoy it one bit. That being said, cobra commander issues #1 connects directly with the Energon universe special, so it's worth checking out

Speaking as someone who's only seen the cover of gijoe transformers marvel g1 no. Speaking as someone who's a diamond subscriber veteran in his transformers days he did say bee gets killed AND HE AND ARCEE WERE A COUPLE! I may not be a g1 child but I don't like gijoe that's the reason I don't like gijoe-transformers crossover I'd rather watch Jem and the holograms 2009 movie on loop
