I have had the AT2's and AT3's on my F350"s and find both of them great. I have 40k miles on the most recent AT3's and could probably get at least another 5k plus out of them. But because winter is around the corner , time to change them for piece of mind on highways. I haven't tried the Falken Wildpeaks and I almost was going to this time but not for around $ 600.00( or around $125.00 per tire) more per set. After seeing quite a few video reviews on both I will stick with the Toyo At3's , not just to save a few dollars but the Toyo's haven't disappointed me in the many years I have used them. In my opinion all tire manufacturers need to bring their prices down slightly without compromising the quality.
I’d still stick with Toyo - open country at3 P-metric tires on my 2015 lifted Scion xB. Never go off-road but these tires are amazing. It gives my vehicle a better handling. The little zig zag feels very noticeable, even on rain was more fun while retain control of it. On snow, it does a pretty well job. Not as better as the AT4W. But both are not as the best as the dedicated snow tires: But besides that; these all terrain tires of the open country at3 are perfect for daily use. Had them for 3 years so far. And I love the nice quiet yet deep tone rugged sound of the tread blocks. I love it ❤️🔥❤️🔥 On my lifted xB. They fitted with my 215/70/16. Next time, I’ll get a slightly wider. Like 225/65/16. Next time ❤️🔥🙏🏼
Thanks for the review. BTW if snow performance is important to you, I’d suggest you check out Mickey Baja Boss AT. It’s detailed review is coming on my channel real soon. Meanwhile you can check my list of best all terrain tires (video).
All those that are C - D for heavy vehicles, in my case I use 285/70/17, you can find 2 or 3 ply but larger than that are 3 ply . You can see the ones whit 2 ply for SUVs that have more lines to evacuate water.
Hey I guess you got confused with load rating and ply rating. These are two different things themselves, and are also different from 2/3 polyester plies you get on a tire carcass. Head over to tiredriver . Com and search for “load rating” you’d get it all within a couple of minutes.
I have 3 jeeps 1 one phase open country, other has the fallen, and third has Mickey Thomson , open country are loud as fck, fallen has terrible traction sand, Mickey is quite, the Mickey Thomson is the biggest tire and performs the best in all weather
Great video, just have to make a decision which to go with need tires by end of month. Here in Canada winters an get out of hand and I live on dirt road which can get pretty muddy and slushy so I am aiming towards the wildpeaks
I would respectfully disagree. I tow heavy (construction) in Canada with a Dodge 3500 and the Toyo's are arguably the best tire I've ran. Had the KO2's, Hankook's (which were great as well) but the Toyo's have a slight edge in my book. Lasted a long time, blasted through winter mountain roads, always felt safe a secure to the road. That being said I am curious about the Falken AT4's

We are publishing some nice budget all terrains tires in upcoming weeks, they are not expensive yet still perform great.

Yes I would do the same.
Toyo at3 do hace 3 ply and the at4w online is light in 2 ply when you put 3 ply is The heaviest I've seen on an all-terrain tires
Can you please tell which toyo At3 size comes with 3 ply?
Toyo’s are only good on lighter trucks. Not heavy duty enough for heavier bigger trucks.
I see what you mean. But you can always go with higher load ratings.
