    Glad you guys put that 'Stang on a lift. Illustrates why it is so important to look under a car, no matter how good it looks above ground level.

    Jeff, I’m just glad you didn’t blow a gasket while bending that stainless line. I know stainless looks great but mild steel line still looks cool and is SO much easier to work with 😉

    "Cam wants to use a lighter", as long as it's on that GM dist, I'm OK with that.
    Bending stainless tubing is exactly why I visit my local truck supply for mild steel tubing. My Fairlanes are 50+ years old & still have orig, good enough for me. The Comet did have some hacked up lines, guess Lizzy Borden made the repairs.

    I hate Ethanol in our fuel! It causes so many problems with our older cars. Vapor lock and corrosion to be specific. What can be done for a car that doesn't get driven often enough to keep the fuel system from getting mucked up? I use Stabol but it doesn't address the problem of the Ethanol absorbing water into the fuel. Where I'm at Ethanol free fuel is not available unless you get race gas that costs a lot.

    • @AutoRestoMod
      @AutoRestoMod  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is a goooood question. we're now in kinda the same boat. We had ethanol free right down the road from our house at the old place but now we have to go 15 minutes to find it. I might do a video on what to do. I think it is a good topic.

    Why not run the fuel line around the back of the engine. Why go around the distributor, it is a straight shot going around the back and down to the fuel pump. My is a 68 duel fuel inlet.

      On the '67 the vacuum would go to either ported or manifold, depending on which type the canister on the distributor uses.

    I’m curious, why are you planning to use so many parts for a 1968 on your 1967? Are they interchangeable? Are they that much better? I’m working on 67, so i’d be interested to know.

      At mid 1967 Ford went to the 1968 style line. There are some goofy parts on the 1967 and moving the car to them just makes it easier.
