Godbless all the merk fans. His music really saved me when I got beaten by 5 bangers near my neighborhood I had a sort of PTSD because of how bad they fucked me up. I ended up hanging myself with a long chord while sitting in my closet because when I lurched my head forward it cut of my blood to my brain on either side of my neck and ended up passing out. I was without oxygen in my room for about a minute or so when my grandma came in the room and broke the chord by pulling on it from where it was connected to in my closet and did CPR until I came to fairly quickly. I shouldn't even be alive today. Music helps the pain a lot. Hope everyone has a great day.

Not wrong at all. I used you be dependent on alcohol. I then turned to women and then back to alcohol. That's how I coped with pain.. but that's awesome bro that you got off opiates. Those are extremely dangerous and addictive. Stay strong and never give up.

Just keep making progress. I'm 7 months off the pills and I am still recovering. I've been learning to be my authentic self and forging my own path. I realised I let the world make me feel like I had to conform but I don't fit in and that's okay. The highest leason has been learning to accept that I control my own life and can be who I feel that I am. If people don't accept that too bad -- I have few friends but cherish those I do have both family and friends. Keep at it. Reach out when you need help...and don't invalidated yourself, your needs, etc.

Merk ur music helps in so many ways bro. I been living a lie for so long man, have nobody that understands me because of the demons I have hidden for so long. I’ve raised 3 boys, my oldest airborne infantry in the US ARMY he joined just like I did at 18 and I’m so proud of him man. My other 2 will b out within the next year, I’m so blessed for my boys to b so good at their age when i was such a wreck. Im trying to fight for them and my nine year old daughter now that is such a beautiful soul most days I feel I dnt deserve them? I’m so broke dwn bro, I’m on the edge of failing again. I keep hurting the very people that have made me and for me where I am today. I dnt have a lot of money I grew up poor, always the black sheep, but had a beautiful wife stand beside me thru it all even after all the times I’ve hurt her!
