8 years clean from drugs. I heard all these stories in the early days of sobriety how life gets better. Between my mentally ill mother and a drug addict brother it's only gotten harder. I'm a certified pipe welder and don't work. Haven't for 3 years. Constant stress and anxiety makes it almost impossible to hold down a job. Even something simple. If it wasn't for my 3 kids I'd just off myself most days. But I've got them to live for. Idk how to give up. So I keep putting one foot just BARELY in front of the other. I'm on the way up. I know it. Keep y'all's head up & Never give up. Some people got it worse n some couldn't walk in your shoes. That's why their yours.
