Headlong is Brian's song, it was meant for his solo album but when he heard Freddie singing it, it was converted into a Queen song.
Freddie is obviously looking ill here but they were having a lot of fun doing this video together. The acoustic guitar you can see Freddie playing with and at the end Brian is lifting it in the air, it is Brian's guitar his parents bought him for his 7th birthday. Brian had it misplaced for some time but then he finally found it and wanted to show it, so there it is ... ❤

Freddie was very sick here and in his final months,they became closer than ever as the all lied to the press ect about Freddie's health like they said they were protecting him I love the warm smiles from especially John and Brian as they watch Freddie perform. It's I think the last video he has his traditional mic after this it was too heavy for him to manage. Fun observation, Freddie was proudly strumming on an acoustic guitar in the scenes in the mixing room, however it has no strings,I love this album. Xx

They were (are) just SO damned good! I’m sure all Queen fans occasionally wonder where they might have gone had Freddie not become ill. Even with all their disagreements.. they always came together for the music. This is one of my favs (from their later years); other ‘bangers’ from this era you might enjoy are Breakthru and I Want it All. Great reaction, thank-you!
When I was an 8 year old kid in 1991, my mum had the Innuendo album, which this song is from and this song was my true introduction to Queen. What 8 year isn't gonna love rocking out singing, "Hoopy Diddy Diddy, Hoop Diddy Do!"

I actually haven’t heard this song but of course I love it and I love the video. For me there’s just no doubt for me that I’m going to love their songs. I love their videos. This song has such a driving beat that it would seem that Roger might have written it but in fact it was Brian.
The way that guitar shreds i had guessed Brian right away but yes Roger does write upbeat rhythmic songs

Say- I bet you’d like the ‘One Vision’ videos- the guys are writing and figuring out the music- and you get to be there to watch the lads -they are nuts- there are two versions you’ll need to watch them both! This was a great video but the other two for the song’One Vision’ is over the top- Freddie has interesting lyrics!😂

This was the first video they recorded & released from Innuendo. After this, the next 2 videos("I'm Going Slightly Mad" & "These Are The Days Of Our Lives") were filmed in black & white to mask the heavy make-up that Freddie was wearing to hide the kaposi sarcoma marks and gauntness of his face. Then the last 2 videos("Innuendo" & "The Show Must Go On") were made after Freddie had become bedridden over his final months before he passed away😢
