The banana clip was from "I'm going slightly mad". Brian is a great and gracious guy to talk to (particularly about Astronomy) with no airs and graces unlike most other superstars.
You are wrong. The Queen's last album was released in 1995 and it is called "Made in heaven". There are old recordings from 1991, 1984, when Freddie was still alive.
Freddie was gravely ill at this point, weak, in constant pain and barely able to stand. Yet when Brian asked whether he'd be be able to sing the song, Freddie responded, "I'll f***ing do it, darling!" He leaned on the recording console in the studio, downed a couple of shots of vodka, and this was the result. If we didn't think he was beyond extraordinary before, this ought to convince us.
The fact that Freddie did this song in one take, after slamming down a glas of whiskey or vodka (can't remember), when he was so ill even Brian was concerned if he could do it, is completely mind blowing to me 🤯 This song is not put together piece by piece or has been edited with autotune. This song always puts things into contrast regarding other performers who cancel gigs for the slightest reason. They need to listen to this song and realise that Freddie's life was nearing it's end yet he could still must up the strength and courage to record epic vocals as only he could. Even after the Innuendo album he wanted to created as many songs as he possibly could which were eventually finished by the other band members to create the Made In Heaven album which still has some unreal vocals from Freddie taking into account he was literally dying on his feet. There will NEVER be another like him. R.I.P. Freddie, the GOAT.
I would recommend listening again, without the video, close your eyes and listen to Freddie’s vocals. for 30 years of listening to this song, I still get literal goosebumps from notes he hits in the 2nd half of the song Even as a dying man, he was the best
At the time we didn't really know the scale of Freddie's illness though I knew he was sick, never figured it was life threatening and Brian and Roger kept tight lipped. But I went into Virgin Megastore to buy another Queen album 'Greatest hits' which was out at the same time. This song was playing loudly in the store on their TVs around the store. It was the next day his lawyer read out the statement on the news that he had AIDS. And a couple of days later he was gone. I was so stunned at the time as many fans were. the song get's me teary eyed every time!
This is a very difficult song to sing, and Freddy was literally on his last legs. It is unimaginable how talented the man was, and God bless Brian for writing this song and giving Freddie the opportunity to sing it and express what I’m sure he believed. Thank you so much for reacting to this and best of luck with you move.
Freddie was so brave and determined that he would sing to the point when he could sing no more ... 😢 "My soul is painted like the wings of butterflies, fairy tales of yesterday grow but never die ... I can fly, my friends... The show must go on! I'll face it with a grin, I'm never giving in...💔 On with the show." That was/is our Freddie. ❤️Delicate but strong, in horrible pain but encouraging others...Till the end and beyond. He is gone but yet so present. His spirit lives on...
@@ulrikealtmann4655it was Brian who woke up one morning with the butterflies in his mind. Brian said: "I don't know where those lyrics came from but that was Freddie 💔 and I wanted to put those words in his mouth."

@@ulrikealtmann4655 yes, Brian said: I've done those lyrics for him, because he wouldn't do it himself. I thought: THIS IS FREDDIE. And he's not going to write it for himself, because he wasn't going to thrust himself forward in that way, you know? But I can write it for him. And it was a gift from God ... 💖 I'm just in awe of how often Brian composed a song out of a dream he had (he woke up with snippets of melodies or lyrics)... It's something out of this world. But that's our highly talented and intelligent Brian ... 💖
Freddie's last song was 'Mother Love'. He sang each line rhree times til he had to rest. He told Brian that he'd finish it later but he couldnt, and did not return to the studio, so Brian sang the last verse, and put Freddie's best lines together for the first verses. It's my favourite song by Queen. The quick pieces at the end were taken from every video they did, ending with the baby's newborn cry, as if Freddie had indeed returned to his Mother, as requested in the song. I dont know if you've heard or reacted to 'Mother Love', but knowing the story _before_ listening to it helps to truly appreciate how much Freddie tried to finish on a high. Rest In Peace, Freddie Mercury, gone but Never forgotten and Never bettered.♥️🇬🇧
Some of the clips were from: The Invisible Man, Scandal, One Vision (making of), Princes of the Universe and of course, I'm Going Slightly Mad (the bananas and penguins). Every time I hear this song, I give thanks to Freddie & the guys for giving us Queen's music. Rest in Paradise Freddie!
Kudos to Brian for not only conceiving this song but for his MAGNIFICENT guitar work ....OMG ... what a master he is - as are Roger and John. Such legends!! And what is left to say about Freddie that I haven't said before? His voice is absolute perfection here - powerful, passionate - giving his all to this song which is exactly what it deserves. And thanks to you, too, Coach and Mrs. Coach for always hearing - and remembering - what the thousands of Queen fans on your channel say to you. Vocally it shows Freddie Mercury's determination to work right to the end. Shows us ALL HOW MUCH HE LOVED PREFORMING FOR HIS & QUEEN FANS ❤😢 THANK you Coach Cast TV
THANK you for the LIKE on my comment to whoever liked my comment on Coast cast TV reaction to Queen's The Show Must Go On sung BEAUTIFULLY by Freddie Mercury. 👍
Freddie helped Brian write the song. This is a very hard video for me to watch even though I love the song. Brings me to tears every time knowing how much pain he was in but still delivering some of his finest singing.
Another song that defines what Freddie was going through is called Mother Love. It's the saddest Queen song, literally a song he started singing but Brian had to take the vocals because Freddie never returned to finish the song.
Well, this was a goodbye song, but they couldn't divulge why. I remember listening to this for the first time and we looked at each other and said 'WTF'. We had no idea what he was going through but the lyrics sounded like a swan song. Powerful.
During these times, Freddie's body was quite weak. The whole world knows how talented Freddie is when it comes to music. But, for me I really admire him because of his courage to face his illness, and music is what gives him strength. He thinks more about the welfare of his brothers in the band, his family and until the end give satisfaction to his fans. IMO, this song is his farewell for us. Although his body is weak, his singing skills and voice remained excellent. Although I feel sad when I hear this song, I am happy that you got to hear one of my many favorite Queen songs. Freddie will always be forever in my ❤ . Thank you very much Mr. and Mrs. Coach! Great job!❤
Your reaction captured the poignancy of the song ❤ I’ve always enjoyed it - probably more and more as I’ve gotten older - and it’s a firm Queen fan favourite that probably deserves more widespread credit.
As sick as he was at this point of his life he certainly did lacerate these lyrics he sounded amazing! I’m always amazed and get goosebumps every time I hear this song
Ive been a Queen fan since I heard Seven seas of Rhye in 1974. And The show must go on still brings a tear to my eye every time I hear it. You should also check out a Freddie solo song called In my defence. Think you might like it. Thanks guys.
Brian said (2023): I woke up one morning with the image of butterflies in my head. I thought I would love to hear Freddie singing: "My soul is painted like the wings of butterflies." This is Freddie. I wanted to put those words in his mouth. And it was a gift from God. I don't even know where those lyrics came from. So I presented it to him next time he turned up to the studio. By that time he was suffering a lot, he could barely stand. I played him the demo with me singing which was extremely high and difficult. He downed a couple of vodkas, proppet himself up on the desk and worked his way through singing all of that song. And it was amazing. I think It's one of his finest performances of all time.
@@CoachCastTV it's hard to imagine how Freddie nailed that song in the condition he was in but I'm also puzzled how Brian's ideas came from a dream or waking up ...
Hey Mr. and Mrs. C., tanks so much for sharing this beautiful song of Freddie's... I believe this song was Freddie's way of telling the band (and the world) to continue to enjoy and perform good music for everyone to enjoy... the banana head was a clip from "I'm Going Slightly Mad", written about, IMHO, Freddie's mental health at the time considering the drugs he was taking for the illness. Also, another wonderful video of this song, comprised by VINZA, a remix channel on YT, is a beautiful rendition of them performing this song in concert as if they had, which we KNOW they never did... it is absolutely amazing, and with 38M views in 3 years, it is THAT good... th-cam.com/video/36ncula-IDw/w-d-xo.html Please do a reaction to this... to show the world what we could have witnessed in concert... FOREVER QUEEN... blessings.
Brian captured perfectly in words what Freddie was going through, and Freddie himself bought it to life with his unbelievable vocals that he gave him all, despite his fading health. It's one of many reasons Queen will be legends long into the future.
I enjoyed this reaction Mr. and Mrs. Coach, I agree with you Mrs. Coach I too believe that Brian May captured what was going on in Freddie's mind. What a song to remember because this was released in late 1991 just before he died. The music video "These are the days of our lives" written by Roger Taylor for a different reason of his own, until Freddie sang it then it had another meaning, that was the last video they made with Freddie. That would be worth watching too. No worries on the downtime while you move to your new home. Many of us knows what it takes when it comes to moving into a new home; just make sure your good and settled in before you start up loading up videos again. Take care of yourselves. Peace. ☮
The Show Must Go On was a very real and pertinent song for Freddie . There have been many covers by other artists but to hear it performed by the dying man himself makes this the most powerful. Mother Love is another very emotional song--the last song Freddie attempted to sing but couldn't finish so Brian sang the final verse. I could swear that I read in an interview with Brian somewhere long ago that the song was sort of about Freddie's long and close relationship with Mary Austin and a farewell to her (but I've never been able to find more information on that). I believe the song was written by Freddie and Brian. He and Brian didn't write songs together usually until the end when Freddie's health worsened. (I absolutely HATE the official video though-an astronaut in space-for the song. It has NOTHING to do with the song itself and detracts from the emotional impact.)
"I'm Going slightly mad" fabulous song, the video reflects back to images from "Queen" their first album back cover, Freddie was disappointed it did not chart higher as it was a task to wright. Their is a fan club version as well, just something they did at the time for fun. "The show must go on" is a track I have heard thousands of times and I never tire of it.
This song means so much to me as I feel it helped save my life. I was going through the darkest time of my life and listening to this song over and over again, every day, helped me get through that and start a path to recovery. That was over 25 years ago and I still get chills when I listen to this. If it weren’t for this song I might not be typing these words! Thank you for reacting to it.
I always had the feeling that Queen's internal communication about unspoken feelings in the band, was through their songs/lyrics, because they weren't talked about.
Brian (1995): At the beginning there was just a cord sequence played by Roger and John but I had a feeling that it was important. I got impassioned and beaver away at it. I sat down with Freddie, we decided what the theme should be and wrote the first verse. We were dealing with things that were hard to talk about at the time, but in the world of music you could do it.
There is also an obscure gem of the same name - the little instrumental called "The Show Must Go On" made by the BRITISH band Nirvana (so, no, it's not that famous American band whose frontman committed suicide). Nirvana - The Show Must Go On.
Thanks for the great reaction again! This is a heartbreaking song, but so is also ”Mother Love”, his very last recording (last verse sang by Brian as Freddie was no longer able to do it). Also, if you feel like going down this lane, I suggest you check out ”No-one But You (Only The Good Die Young)”, which is the remaining band members’ tribute to Freddie. I also find Roger’s ”Old Friends” very touching as it is his personal tribute to Freddie.
The video with the bananas is for the song I’m Going Slightly Mad which is a song about how all the medications Freddie was on was making him feel. Some of the other videos are from Breakthru and The Invisible Man.
If you want to hear more of Freddie's vocal ability please listen to Exercises in Free Love. I believe he made this for Montserrat to demonstrate his range. Hauntingly beautiful.
“We didn’t discuss what the meaning of the song was, but it was of course evident in the background that it was an attempt to give a voice to the feelings that Freddie’s valiant fight against AIDS created in all of us, and even in Freddie. He was too low in energy to create it himself. But I had one unforgettable special afternoon working together with him on solidifying the lyrics of the first verse of this embryonic song about a clown whose make-up hid his pain, before he slid out to attend another treatment. That gave me enough lyrical material to later expand into the eventual two verses.” This song is one of my favourites, gave me a "helping hand" when my life was upside down.
The clip with Freddie wearing a banana headpiece is from the ‘I’m Going Slightly Mad’ video! I believe that the video was shot in black and white because they didn’t want to show how pale Freddie was during that time (I may be wrong). The clips where Roger is wearing a kettle on his head, Brian is walking around with penguins and John is wearing a jokers hat are also from the same videoclip. I’m sure that you guys will like it! Thanks for this reaction, it really made my day
8:50 You should react to Queen Who Wants To Live Forever live. It is very powerful. It was also written by Brian for the movie Highlander. Freddie's voice is other worldly. With the bananas is I'm Going Slightly Mad about the hallucinations he was having from the AIDS meds he was on.
Hey team ‼️ my favorite line in this song is when he sings “ my soul is painted like the wings of butterflies” 💥 an extremely sick Freddie still sounds better than anyone else
Loved this reaction!! This is definitely one of Queen’s most beautiful songs, his vocal ability even while he was so ill and his determination to keep singing and recording is truly a testament to who Freddie really was. You’re wondering how he felt in that last period of his life when he knew he didn’t have much left, and while he never talked about it you can see it in his last music video ever, “These Are The Days Of Our Lives” written by Roger about his kids and how he felt about the passage of time but he thought it fit Freddie’s situation better, it’s worth checking out even though it’s really hard to see him in such contrast to how he was in past music videos, at the very end he looks into the camera and says I still love you, that was his way of saying goodbye to the fans
In the banana song. This was I'm going slightly mad. And when you think of what Freddie was going through the title fits. While recording that video, Freddie had no body weight. He was freezing and in terrible pain. Half of his right foot was missing from the karposy Sarcoma from the virus. Diana Mosley ( his costume designer) and dear friend, made soft clothing to wear under his clothes, because the cloths hurt him. She piled clothes underneath his clothing to try and warm him up.
The video with the bananas is I'm Going Slightly Mad. The song was about how the medication he was taking for his illness was causing him to not always be as sharp mentally. He always tried to have a positive outlook, and he made light of the situation with this video. Freddie was an exceptional man in so many ways, which is why so many of us love him. Another song that's really good and was made after his diagnosis is Headlong. That one has some great guitar by Brian, too. Keep up the great work, Mr and Mrs Coach!
ONE TAKE!!! One take! They didn't think he could do it. They said to forget it, but legend has it he said No! Slammed a shot of vodka, stood up & sung the entire song this one time.
Freddie was very ill at the time but he managed to record the vocals in just 2 takes. Incredible singing. As others have said, "Banana Head" is from "I'm Going Slightly Mad". Still waiting for "March of the Black Queen" !! Hope the move goes smoothly ...
One of my faves along with Who Wants to Live Forever from the mid 80s. The live version is on the Greatest Hits Volume 3 and features Elton John performing with Queen live at the Freddie Mercury concert in 1992. I have just watched the live video and had forgotten that Tony Iommi from Black Sabbath plays guitar too.
Brian did say that he wrote about the clown with the smile on his face about Freddie, but never told him that. Brian and Freddie wrote the song together.
I’m going to quibble on a small point. This is not “good art”, this is “great art”. To this lifelong Queen fan, it’s their best song of all. It bring chills over my body and tears to my eyes every single time I hear it, and has done so since 1991 when I had this LP on cassette tape in my car during college. This LP is not for the faint-hearted. But it’s a masterpiece. Bijou, I’m going slightly mad, headlong, and many more deserve a Coach & Mrs Coach listen. Stay open minded, the songs are maverick in many ways. Love watching your reactions. You’re obviously good people and I appreciate you both!
By far my favorite Queen song. Knowing what he was going through right up to the end, the power and raw emotion in Freddie's voice is still absolutely incredible
THE SHOT OF BRIAN WITH HIS GUITAR FIRING IS FROM THE INVISABLE MAN VIDEO WHICH IS EXCELLENT. ALSO DON'T FORGET BRIAN'S SLOW DOWN SONG.COACH WILL LOVE IT.
One of the greatest compositions in the history of music. I always laugh at how all the performers sing this song under the guise of false and deceitful tragedy and sadness. Freddie just sang and didn't lie. As always.
Great reaction as always! This song always hits me in the feels because of the message and the strength it took Freddie to be able to sing it. 💛 Good luck on the move!
Hey Mr. & Mrs. Coach. After all the years of listening to Queen, this is probably my favorite song. Freddie nailed it in one take, as sick as he was. Great lyrics and guitar. I was a little surprised you had not reviewed this song before. Keep them coming...Boomer Sooner.
I've told my wife I'd like this song played at my funeral although I'd like to think I have a good few years left in me! Joking aside it's a wonderful song and astonishing how Freddie hits the notes given how ill he must have been. I think a few shots of vodka helped him. Great review Mr and Mrs Coach...as always. I wish you well with your move. Please send some Florida sun to the UK.
This is a hell of a vocal, but Freddie did lay down some additional vocals after. As Brian has said he wanted to leave them with some material - "Give me words" (or words to that effect) even if they had no specific connection, and much of this material went into the album "Made in Heaven" and they are some truly beautiful vocal lines - "A Beautiful Day" is one, most poignant is "Mother Love" with something that only hits home when listening to it (avoiding spoilers). There's also a "Queen" track "No one but you (only the good die young)" which is a tribute from the remaining 3 to their departed friend and is the last track to feature John Deacon before he decided to retire.
Hi Folks! Coach, your sense of timing is most piquant! Oh, how I love this video. The Doc wrote it as Freddie was literally on his deathbed-asked him if he was okay with the lyrics. "Give me anything!" His Majesty commanded and we have a song that will live forever. I think he'd be quite pleased to see just how indeed the show has gone on. Speaking of which, take your time, we'll be here when you get settled. Just remember, it takes two weeks to pack and two years to un. Love you guys!
Haha...yeah we found boxes from when we moved into this house from 2006, so I guess we didn't need what we packed in them. And yes, I'm sure Freddie would be pleased to see how his legacy has been embraced worldwide.
@@CoachCastTV Yeah, take your time. But the live version of "Who Wants To Live Forever" from the Isle of Wight (I think) right after that terrible FL gay club shooting, that's one for the hankies.

Singing and making music was the only thing at this point that kept him going and have some reason to get up in the morning...The "banana head" video is for the song I'm going slightly mad...it was the penultimate video in which Freddie appeared.
Others have already said everything that I would like to express. We miss him so much... 💔 Another video that was sampled was the official one for 'Princes of the Universe', which if I'm not mistaken you haven't got to yet... 😇
I'm Going Slightly Mad is the video with the bananas. Freddie was being given a lot of different medications that were making him feel strange and even have hallucinations and wild, crazy dreams. In keeping with his general personality of finding humor in so many things, he wrote that song. It is a funny video. There is even a video about them making that video which is good also. Best of luck to you with all your packing and congratulations on your new home. My thoughts on Brian writing The Show Must Go On was certainly a lot about Freddie and how brave he was but I think it was also a lot about Brian who was very sad and depressed knowing he would soon be losing his friend and with that, his band. His marriage was in shambles, his father died after suffering with cancer and he was heartbroken about not being able to live with his children. Through it all, Brian knew the reality was and always would be, that he is a musician in his core and that no matter what, he would always be a musician and the show must go on. He even felt a little guilty thinking ahead to his solo projects and it was Freddie who told him never to feel that way. Freddie felt that just because he would be leaving was no reason for the others to shut down, he didn't even feel that Queen should die along with him, though the others could not even imaging going forward as Queen because the grief just wouldn't go away. Both Brian and Roger said that they didn't even want to think about Queen for a very long time because it was just too painful. So I think there are a lot of layers to this song and I think that Brian really does pour his heart out through it.
Hello Mr & Mrs Coach. Thanks for another great reaction video. I always think the shame is that The Show Must Go On. Wasn't written some 10 years earlier. As it would have been another Queen anthem that would have been played at every level show. Hope all goes well with your move.

The show must go on!
I'll face it with a grin, I'm never giving in...💔
On with the show."
That was/is our Freddie. ❤️Delicate but strong, in horrible pain but encouraging others...Till the end and beyond.
He is gone but yet so present. His spirit lives on...

@@iris67si The bridge/lyrics "My soul is painted like the wings of butterflies...."
is just so beautiful. One of my favorite lyrics ever.
@@ulrikealtmann4655it was Brian who woke up one morning with the butterflies in his mind.
Brian said: "I don't know where those lyrics came from but that was Freddie 💔 and I wanted to put those words in his mouth."
@@iris67si Brian was so right to put these special lyrics in Freddie's mouth.
I'm also convinced that Freddie's soul was painted like the wings of butterflies.
What a beautiful picture was drawn here......❤
@@ulrikealtmann4655 yes, Brian said:
I've done those lyrics for him, because he wouldn't do it himself. I thought: THIS IS FREDDIE. And he's not going to write it for himself, because he wasn't going to thrust himself forward in that way, you know? But I can write it for him. And it was a gift from God ... 💖
I'm just in awe of how often Brian composed a song out of a dream he had (he woke up with snippets of melodies or lyrics)... It's something out of this world. But that's our highly talented and intelligent Brian ... 💖
Coaches I love the respect to Queen..wow I miss the 80s..best times for me...take a little step back to the early 70s....you may enjoy..
That's a great story. We have not yet listened to that one.

I hope you will and will enjoy it, though perhaps with a tinge of sadness. Happy listening.
Such an iconic song 😢
Dropping a few shots of vodka...... On with the show! RIP Freddie you LEGEND ❤
I'm sure others would have said the 'banana head' shot is from the video to "I'm going slightly mad", which is another late song by Queen.
classic song wow wow art music
Thanks guy for the video this song is amazing but breaks my heart his voice was still amazing 💜
The video you were asking about was the song "I'm Going Slightly Mad" from 1991
Kudos to Brian for not only conceiving this song but for his MAGNIFICENT guitar work ....OMG ... what a master he is - as are Roger and John. It was a joy to listen to your beautiful, heartfelt reaction! Much luck with your huge move ... may it be as smooth as possible for you.

art song
My favorite song ❤❤❤
Freddie helped Brian write the song. This is a very hard video for me to watch even though I love the song. Brings me to tears every time knowing how much pain he was in but still delivering some of his finest singing.
Yep, me too. since 1991. Waterworks every time.
There will never again be anyone like Freddie, still loved and sorely missed, the Banana head is from the I’m going slightly mad video.
Thank you very much Mr. and Mrs. Coach! Great job!❤
Thanks so much. Great comment.
This Song Always Makes Me Cry .
@@bagpuss121 Me too. Its been many years that I've been a Queenie and I still cry everytime I hear it❣️
Your reaction captured the poignancy of the song ❤ I’ve always enjoyed it - probably more and more as I’ve gotten older - and it’s a firm Queen fan favourite that probably deserves more widespread credit.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Impressive!
@@CoachCastTV it's hard to imagine how Freddie nailed that song in the condition he was in but I'm also puzzled how Brian's ideas came from a dream or waking up ...
Brian was unable ti sing it in head voice only in falsetto
The difficulty for Freddie was to sing high register in head voice without cracking
This one still stings. He gave us everything he had. I hate that he died so young.
@@bluebell3720 I agree.
Freddie said when he couldn't sing anymore, he would die. 😘😇 my angel now.

The banana head is from "I'm Going Slightly Mad" from the same album.
Hey Mr.

Please do a reaction to this... to show the world what we could have witnessed in concert...
FOREVER QUEEN... blessings.
Brian captured perfectly in words what Freddie was going through, and Freddie himself bought it to life with his unbelievable vocals that he gave him all, despite his fading health. It's one of many reasons Queen will be legends long into the future.
Good luck in your new home!!❤️🎼❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thank you!
Peace. ☮
Thank you so much. We truly appreciate you!
These are the days of our lives must see his last song was mother love
Inside my heart is breaking, my makeup may be flaking, but my smile, still, stays on……
"I'm Going slightly mad" fabulous song, the video reflects back to images from "Queen" their first album back cover, Freddie was disappointed it did not chart higher as it was a task to wright.
Wow, that's a powerful testimony to the power of this work of art. Thank you for sharing!
Amazing testament to Brian & Freddie’s friendship. As such, Brian could accurately depict what Freddie was going through.
Thanks. We recognized the train but haven't seen some of the others. 👍
And 'Back Chat' and 'Calling all Girls' 😉
Princes of the universe is another although short in appearance 👍✌️😎
If you want to hear more of Freddie's vocal ability please listen to Exercises in Free Love. I believe he made this for Montserrat to demonstrate his range. Hauntingly beautiful.
Marvelous and heartbreaking. The emotion Freddie instilled in that song without seeming to.
That gave me enough lyrical material to later expand into the eventual two verses.”
This song is one of my favourites, gave me a "helping hand" when my life was upside down.
Thanks for this reaction, it really made my day
Thanks for the info and the kind words.
“banana head video” was the video for their song “I’m Going Slightly Mad”! My favorite video (and one of my favorite songs) by Queen in fact!!
Cool! Thank you.
The 'banana head' was from I'm going slightly mad - amazing song especially as he was ill while making it, hence the heavy make up
Should React to Headlong next!
That's awesome. He left a legacy that will be timeless. Thanks very much for the great comment.
Amazing that they could even do the recording at that point.
❤️
Video with a "banana" on head Freddie is a "Im Going Slightly Mad" from 1991 year.
The "one take" myth had been debunked many, many times... But it doesn't diminish how amazing Freddie's voice is here
Freddie was very ill at the time but he managed to record the vocals in just 2 takes. Incredible singing. As others have said, "Banana Head" is from "I'm Going Slightly Mad".

We can appreciate that quibble. Thank you for your support and taking time to comment. See you next time!
By far my favorite Queen song. Knowing what he was going through right up to the end, the power and raw emotion in Freddie's voice is still absolutely incredible

Oh I've always thought this song was instruction and permission.
One of the greatest compositions in the history of music. I always laugh at how all the performers sing this song under the guise of false and deceitful tragedy and sadness. Freddie just sang and didn't lie. As always.
This was real for Freddie, aside from the fact that he was phenomenal anyway this was true for him and no one can imitate that
Great reaction as always! This song always hits me in the feels because of the message and the strength it took Freddie to be able to sing it. 💛 Good luck on the move!

Thanks, Coachies! such a powerful and beautiful song.. the video is obviously a compilation, but quite well done!
The banana son is 'I'm going slightly mad'
Emocionante. Queen é uma banda completa .
No One But You (Only The Good Die Young) ... 😢

We haven't. Thanks for mentioning that one.
I'm going slightly mad is my personal best song from album Innuendo
Thank you so much. Queen is definitely a band that had a sense of humor.
Hello Mr & Mrs Coach. Thanks for another great reaction video.
I always think the shame is that The Show Must Go On. Wasn't written some 10 years earlier. As it would have been another Queen anthem that would have been played at every level show.
Hope all goes well with your move.
Good point. And thank you. We are ready to be done with the move.
Please do ..these are the days of our lives..his last video
The club captain of the soccer club I support died with his girlfriend in a gas leak/carbon monoxide poisoning event. He was a huge Queen fan. We didn't play for a couple of weeks but when we played our first game (against another side who had lost a club icon tragically young btw) it was also a commemoration for the guy. They played this song over the speaker system Grown men, me included, reduced to tears.
That's incredible. The power of music is hard to describe but there is no doubt it can strongly move us.
