we rented a truck, drove to oakland, and rode back on bikes
we raised $4800 to donate to a few randomly selected families that were displaced by the lahaina fire

Thanks! We started with a basic bikepacking list we found at this website
bikepacking.com/bikepacking-101/
Based on that and backpacking trips we’ve done in the past we cut what we thought we could. After the ride we realized we brought too many clothes and too much food. I don’t have exact maps of our routes but I used the bikemap app and saved the best routes I could find. My strava has most of our ride but I messed up recording here and there.
