- Hey friends! I’m back with a fun little travel-related video as I chat about how I successfully packed a weekend away in a backpack. As simple as it sounds, it did require a bit of planning to execute, especially for someone who used to be a chronic overpacker. In this video, we’ll go through why and how to pack minimally, some of the efficient travel products & organizers I love to use, along with the outfits I brought along with me on this weekend getaway. #minimalistpacking #falloutfits #packingtips

Best tip of any "pack with me" carry on only videos is the rule "No just in case items." That always causes over packing and lugging around items you don't need or won't wear on your trip. Also, the idea of packing things because you just don't know what mood you will be in for what to wear so I end up taking something I won't wear. Know what you like alto wear at home, think about what you might be doing on your trip and don't be afraid of wearing something more than once. With many of us working from home and going out less I am sure most people wear the same thing more than once. Think comfortable, think classic. Plan specific mix and match items. You will be less stressed and relaxed. Be confident with your choices and minimalism. Think light weight.
Omg Henry cracks me up 😂
I couldn't not share... it's too funny!
Thank you for sharing! Definitely gonna pick up the cable organizer bc I’ve been looking for a good one! Love the bloopers too haha 😂
I'm so happy to hear this - a cable organizer is a must! Thanks for watching Kristine! 💗
This is super helpful
I found you at the right time! 🎉 I have 3 trips in march/April.
Oh how wonderful! I hope you have an amazing time at each one and that your minimal packing process goes well 😉
I stopped using traditional packing cubes or pouches for the smaller items, instead I use the bags that I am going to want to take on my trip like packing underthings and socks into my "daybag" or a travel towel into a drybag instead of the pouch it comes with so I can use the drybag at the beach to protect my valuables. Hope that makes sense!
This is genius! Anything to save even more space is a win in my books. Thanks for the tip 🥰
Thank you. It s much harder when winter summer llus hsve to take stock of inhalers ..30l is what will.aim for weight msx 8kg for cheaper flights.. pleasecould you do a 4 season packing video in just 1 small backpack.
❤❤❤
Thank you for the love 💗
Very impressive lol
My girlfriend would love this! :)
Lol! Don't worry, there is hope...
Its a bit weird but I always seem to have more clothing then I actualy use because its the norm. I usually have 5 tot 10 key outfits I always wear and wear like what? 3 outfits a week andi have 1 lounge outfit. I think even for a week trip you do not need thatmuch unless you normally have a different outfit ever day or multable outfits a day.
Completely agree! There are always some typical go-to pieces that we reach for again and again, and I think it's a fun experiment to track that so we can determine why those are our go-to pieces, to get a better sense of our style preferences. Plus it just makes getting dressed/packing for a trip super easy!
Can you share you packing for Europe video? I can’t find it. Thanks
Yes. Came to say the same
Bla bla bla
Is there any way to turn off that annoying repetitive generic background music? I’d rather hear what you are saying and it is very distracting.
