It is the sound of these animals that make them so REAL! And I'm deeply appreciative to Michael Giacchino for living up to the legacy of John Williams and envisioning a new theme for this amazing new chapter.
What a joke! Nothing beats John Williams Jurassic Park score. The Jurassic World scores are so much in the background that you don't even notice there is any music in the movies anymore. And that's not the right way to do movie scores, it's the wrong way. When going out of Jurassic Park movie at the theatres, I hummed the melodies. Not so after going out of the three Jurassic World movies.
@@alexgood6409 bro, I was taking the piss. It was funny because he said the screenwriters know what happens in the movie... they're part of the creative team making the movie. I said unfair, as a joke.
I occasionally see TH-camrs saying the dinos may have sounded more like birds, which they paint as an underwhelming thing since everyone wants the roars, but imagine how creepy it would be if the T-Rex stared you down and started chirping. Most people just imagine bird song, but a hawks screech or clicking noises would be so _alien_ coming from dinos
It would've most likely been something akin to vulture screeches and crocodile bellows, as we're not sure non-avian dinosaurs had the same vocal organs as songbirds. Look those two up, they're pretty intimidating! In fact, there's some evidence that T. rex may have been able to produce low-frequency sounds, low enough that to us it would register less as a sound and more as a *feeling*, like a weird sense of dread and possibly a vibration of some sort. You wouldn't even have to see it for it to scare the pants off you!
Yep, I love that. Fallen Kingdom's soundtracks are also great!! I remember when I fist watched fallen kingdom. When the End credits started and the JP theme played I told my friend "You know which was the best part of the film? This" And the At Jurassic Worlds End Creditsuite is my ringtone on my phone :) Oh and before quaranteen I woke up with the indoraptor's theme "Thus begins the Indo-Rapture"😃
I feel like Doctor Wu put his own DNA into the Indominus. ONE key feature that people seem to overlook is the fact that Indo has appose-able thumbs. It can grab things just like a primate.
Connor Vaughn makes sense. It hunts for sport, and only humans hunt for fun. Wu definitely put his DNA into the Indominus stew to make it more intelligent, and a brain behind huge toothed jaws makes a predator even scarier
i honestly found even more respect for jurassic park now really, i watched a lot that had to do with the animatronics and cgi and the sets and such, but not the music and the sound of the animals :)
I could just imagine them at the zoo... Employee:"excuse me sir, what are you doing with that microphone???" Pete:"I'm working on the Jurassic world movie." Employee:"oh alright... wait what!?"
Because it is nice music and sometimes it brings back memories from watching the original movies. The songs they made for the Jurassic series is one of the best in my opinion. It’s so beautiful.
The Jurassic Park Franchise has always been a win in my book. It's been my favorite the second I saw the first movie, then you guys really made a come back sense the Third movie, you guys did amazing with the CGI, the sound design, the acting, and of course, the new comers to the film such as the Indominus Rex.
Everything about is Film is nothing short of amazing! thanks to everyone who came together with their expertise and talent to make such a BRILLIANT MASTERPIECE.
The visuals are great, the sound, but the story, characters, overall plot is one of the worst I've seen - EVER. I thought it was a horrible movie, but then again I'm not impressed easily - I need a movie to actually be of some kind of substance to enjoy. The protagonist was a shitty stereotype, vapid and pointless, the female lead was yet another stereotype of the uptight woman who lets loose when she likes a guy, another vapid useless character. It was HORRIBLE, and I have no idea why this did so well, very far from a masterpiece.
Archetype00 You see Fallen Kingdom? It was about 10 times worse. That and people clearly can't see what makes a film bad and don't want to think about a film being bad so that it doesn't feel like they wasted their money.
I was quite dissappointed. But, the sounds were great. Thought the Indoraptor was cool but wasted in a very unfitting location and was killed too easily and didn't get the spotlight or screen time it deserved.
H3LLC4T 683 I agree on the indo-raptor not having spotlight, I think they should have highlighted on its intelligence more and shown more of its features besides here’s a Dino, it escapes, kill it humorously. And I don’t know what significance mazie had with the movie besides she was a created copy of her mother by her weird family.
No matter what anyone says, everyone has to admit every entry in this franchise (excluding Jp3) has tried their best to deliver on a great movie, and they mostly have delivered. I commend the series and this makes Jurassic Park/World such a long standing and successful blockbuster franchise. 🦖
"You don't want to get messy. You don't want it to sound like 10 things all layered on top of each other." *Proceeds with a roar that sounds like 10 things all layered on top of each other*
You ever heard what it may have ACTUALLY sounded like? WAY scarier. Especially imagining a JP raptor making that noise from a distance or in a room trying to find you.
I mean a tyrannosaur becomes a lot less scary when you realize it may have sounded like a goose instead of that famous roar but a raptor making bird sounds is suitablely creepy
@@marsmanstudios3076 True, but you also can't judge how a lion sounds based on the vocalizations of a house cat. When a cat roars it sounds like a baby crying, but lion being way bigger, sounds a lot different when it makes the same sound. Also birds have huge variety of sounds they make so most likely dinosaurs had that too. Large birds also typically sound different than smaller ones. Like a vulture screech sounds kinda like a t-rex roar if you'd make it lower and louder. Emus also growl in a way that is not much different than the low growling the t-rex does in the film and male ostriches actually make this low roaring sound that sounds kinda like a muffled version of someone starting a chainsaw or a motorcycle.
iirosaen Very true. A tyrannosaur probably wouldn’t have roared anyways due to its ability for closed mouth vocalisation. It would have made low pitch sounds rather than screaming at its prey alerting them to its presence.
Great work, what a job to go to every day. The best thing about making Dinasores movies is you can give the Dinasire any sound you want. Even the way he moves the colors of them you have an open book because there's no way of knowing any of these things about any Dinasore we have ever discovered it is all a guess. Except maybe their color I believe they have found a way through DNA to come close to the colors.
