I am a beginner in making amigurumis and was looking for tutorials to help me get started. I decided to try to make a whale and this pattern was very easy to follow! Thank you! 😄
I just finished it! The very first thing i ever crocheted and it looks pretty good 😍. I definitely made some mistakes in increasing and decreasing but in the whole everything worked out great and its a pretty easy tutorial to follow. Thanks! I am definitely going to make more whales soon ❤
This tutorial is absolutely amazing. I started crocheting 🧶 a month ago and I love it 🥰 with this tutorial, I ended up with an adorable whale named Lemonade. (He is yellow) 💛 thank you very much, have a blessed year. I also appreciate how you go slow enough for a beginner like me to watch every motion. Your finger guidance helped too. 🥰 thank you!!😘
Thank you so much for your tutorial! It is so easy to follow and the whale turns out so cute. I have used this tutorial many times to make whales and it is great! ♥
It looks like such fun pattern! I'm a beginner (like never did a project or anything) and the beginning with that ring was a little too fast for me. I had to slow the video down to get it. From then on I think it was fairly understandable but I was just unlucky to have the wrong yarn. I have some kind of fluff yarn too but not the kind like in the video. With my yarn, after the first row of 8 stitches, I couldn't see anything. I had no real clue where the next entry should be. I think, if I want to try this again, I need different yarn. I ended up with a pretty fluffy not elastical scrunchy. Tried to do a whale but ended up with a scrunchy, Ig that's better than nothing😭
Absolutely great video, but the problem i have is in round 12, when i did it in the back loop you can see that it changed color there, its not as smootb as in your video. Can anyone help?
Hi quick question, row 12 says back loop only, is that the only row for back loop or for the rest of the pattern? And is it back loop only when you decrease? Thank you so much.
@@danielleldesigns awesome. Now i see. I never made a whale before but this looks so easy. Your a great instructor. Thank you so much for responding. ❤👍☺

Thank you for tutorial! I was my first try to make animal and it came out great! I have trouble with fins and tail. I didnt understand the technic but somehow I finish it. But its so small, compare to body. On second attempt I tried different pattern for fins and tail. Fins 1st Front loop - 2 chains 2nd front loop - 3 double crochet 3rd front loop - slipknot to body. Does it make sence to you? ( Sorry, i am not sure how to write it properly) Thank you for pattern!❤
Hi I’ve literally never crocheted before, do you think this tutorial is fit for a beginner (like as beginner as it can get)? Or would this already be too difficult and should I start simpler? :)
I have learned how to crochet a little bit before, but just basic crocheting like little rows but this is the first amigurumi project I have ever tried and it worked really well for me I was finding other videos that just did not work and I did not understand them at all. The first one I did had a few spots to it that weren’t the best but it still turned out really well and now (a few months later) I just finished my second one and I love it. I think this tutorial was super easy to follow. You just really have to pay attention to the way that they are stitching it but other than that, I really liked this tutorial and it was super helpful for me.
Hey so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but when I follow the instructions it for,s more of a tube instead of what you have could you or someone explain?
Is it jus a ball or its slightly flat at the bottom? Please answer becouse i wanna make a kinda flat ball and i dont have any tutorial on how to do that

Try using less tension as you crochet and stop at the end of each row and stretch it out. Mine does the same thing, and I've learned that using a bigger hook and not pulling my yarn as tight has really helped.

Hey, it’s really cute ! I was only wondering if crocheting in the back loops only in the row 12 was for a special reason? Thanks !
It's because to make the bottom part more flat. Thank you😊
