Not only do we get Thalasso back, but he brings us two great pieces in one video. The detail and realism are amazing. I feel as if the whale is saying "AH" in the very same room as me.
No because chipping away the top layer of resin to make it look like ACTUAL WAVES above an ancient primordial sea creature was a genius idea. So happy to see some more of your work, I could watch you work all day, you are so calm and relaxing, and funny to.
I must say, I was completely shocked that you weren't using your illustration as a reference. Truly one of the biggest plot twists of all time. It looked almost identical!

wait that's so crazy how you used dramatic foreshortening in a 3D work of art. like the stuff closer to the foreground is literally larger than the stuff in the background, and all the lines seem to suggest a vanishing point _within_ the bounds of the piece

i have been following you for almost 4 years now. and each one of your videos are well worth the wait! a few people have told me in the past that i had a talent for drawing really believed them to be absolutly honest. the only drawing i was ever proud of, my art teacher in high school kept it for herself because she loved it so much haha. it was a drawing of my hand holding an eraser with shadows. this video make me want to go back to "fantasy world" sort of 3D decor for my 50 gallon aquarium i have started some 6 years ago but left unfinished because i doubt myself wayyyyy too much. thank you very much Thalasso hobbyer for the inspiration! Your art pieces are the most impressive shows of skill I think I will ever see in my life. You always put so much dedication, effort, time, love, care -- everything -- into every piece you do -- and it always looks AMAZING. This was the same. It was incredible to see it being made and to see the final product -- chef's kiss. Perfection.
