@@silviademartino2494 the quality and picture are very nice. Unfortunately if you have a jeep you will need an adapter bracket to mount the rear camera. If you have any other vehicle it should be no problem at all.

What year is your jeep? I have a 2006 liberty and I am worried that the spare tire will not allow the camera a good angle.

@@JakirHossain-my9tu If u don't want to connect it to reverse gear and just want to switch it when ever u want to front and rear views then no need of any hard wiring , just u need to plug the rear cam into the display and take it to the rear windshield through floor mats or through side pillars .

I read on User manual of Model G840S (page 12) and it said the Red wire on rear camera cable does not need to be connected because it is designed for another model of production. Is that corrected ? Thanks
its how you get power to the backup camera so the mirror knows when to switch from a dash cam to backup camera
The red wire hooks up to the reverse light, so when you put the gear into reverse, a signal sets the display to parking mode (rear view with parking aid). 😊
How could I see all the recording of the dashcam on my laptop? I got into a car accident but I can't find the video of the accident time and date.
Just bought it and installed it. So, the main job of the mirror is mirroring things behind you. I just can't believe that if I put it to a sleep mode, putting the reverse the image don't go on...Only if the mirror cam is on (and in that case I dont have a mirror because it's shows it's icons) it automaticly switch to the back camera, once I insert the reverse..Does your mirror dash cam is showing automatically the reverse picture when you insert the reverse IN CASE YOU HAVE SWITCHED THE MODE TO HAVE ONLY THE MIRROR or you need to turn it on like me in order to see the reverse picture, but in that case the mirror is ON with it's icons so you can't see the things behind your car? Tnx

@@steve210sa yesit does, there's a power button to turn the screen display off and on. to work as a regular mirror.

I have it and the answer is more or less... it can work as a mirror but is a really dark reflective lcd screen, so on night or early morning will not work as a mirror pretty well,, only during bright day, also the rubber to hang the camera on your actual mirror might wiggle over time and it may become a pain to use it, try to get a mount arm that can be screw over the back of this camera (the 4 hangers can be removed, it has a screw under a cover on the back), the size is 14.5 cm of wide and 6 cm of tall for the back arm mount adapter. My final solution was to get an additional arm and let it on the dashboard and use my regular mirror instead, because.. i like the regular mirror for most of the driving time.
Does the rear camera have an extension long enough for a camper?
It says in the manual that they have a 33ft extension for those who need it, purchased separately.
Question? I don't want to use the cigarette lighter, how can I hook it to my ignition when I start the vehicle it will come on and when I turn off the vilehicle it will shut off?

If you have it hooked up to the cigarette lighter, that's the setting it should be. If you hook it up to constant power, it will use power all the time, which might kill your battery

When there is car in rear with Led light then camera does not show properly - The camera is too big so in rain it gets messed
For me it is bullshit! I bought this dash camera and the brightness is a big problem. Even during the day is too much bright, you can not see the image well. At night is the same thing of nothing, actually it is better nothing than this camera. I suggest to not buy it.
Too late...I already got a g840h model,and I'm not satisfied ...:-( at night the image quality is very poor

@@jay.amirii I talked to a rep from wolfbox and they couldn't explain what was wrong with it. So they sent me another one and same thing. I sent them pictures of how I installed it and they had no clue. So they refunded me
In order for it to work it must be plugged into your car autlet 24/7 it won’t work if there’s energy going into it
So when you put the car in reverse, does the backup camera automatically turn on or do you have to wire it to the reverse light?

u gotta wire it to the reverse light
You wire it to the reverse light but that’s only if you want the reverse backup guides. Other than that, the back camera works regular.
@@JohnnyJitsu11 what reverse light the one to the actual rear reverse light on the housing? Does it matter which side? I cant seem to find the one. I thought it went to the back up camera on the wire harness on my car that all ready has a back up camera just crap quality but when I connected the red wire to the red wire nothing. The reverse light wires on the tail lights are different color does that matter?

No Mine only records the front camera
