There's a detail with the attack that's kinda been censored in the anime. It actually blew Badigadi's upper half off completely. The dude was just legs and waist for a couple of seconds, which is why he thought he accidentally killed him. He just regenerated right after (hence why he's considered immortal). After the fact, Badigadi said that Rudeus' attack was at about Emperor level. Also, as aftermath, it was emphasized how scared everyone was of Rudy's power after seeing this display. This will be relevant later on in the story. EDIT: WHOA, Ben has SO LITTLE faith in Elinalise! lmao Edit 2: You're absolutely right about that not being Rudy's most destructive attack. Originally, the conversation revolved around the encounter with Orsted once he was mentioned. Badigadi asked if Rudy was able to harm him, and he said yes, that he bruised his hand, lightly. Then, Badi asked him to use the same attack he used back then. The purple fireball thing, iirc, was plasma. If that attack hadn't been nullified by Orsted, everyone around would've died: Nanahoshi, Eris, Ruijerd and Rudy; Idk if Orsted himself. So, actually, Orsted saved everyone's lives by blocking it the way he did. That attack was WAY more destructive than the drill rock cannon attack. Edit 3: I think everyone that read the Novels or the manga would agree that the anime made the blue haired girl WAAAAAY cuter than any other iteration of her. She's adorable here haha
There's been a few bits of very jarring censorship this season - they might as well have gone full DxD and just covered the mess with a huge chibi emoji saying "blu ray only".

Fun fact, apparently Badigadi made a line through several kingdoms in order to get to rudy, getting them in a panic, mobilizing their armies in order to stop him. But by the time they'd assembled he'd already passed through, like a hurricane. At the academy the teachers also just wanted Rudy to keep him occupied for a while while a counter-force assembled to attack Badigadi, they didn't expect him to actually win. The anime barely showed it, But Rudeus blew his freaking torso off.
Bagidadi accompanied someone in search of the same person and they separated after reaching the harbor from the Demon Continent... However, saying who would be spoilers (Assuming the anime really left out that information)
Fun fact Cliff gave her his permission to cheat on him because of her curse as long as her heart is with him but that only made her want to stay faithful to him even more so despite her lewd behavior she never cheats on him and stays faithful for the most part. To satisfy her curse she rides our boy so often it should exhaust his lower half 💀 the only time she'd ever cheat on him is when she has absolutely no choicd due to her curse because Cliff isn't in the area and holding out any longer would kill herself
Badigadi is immortal he basically has no sense of time doing what he wants for as long as he wants. 100 years is like a blink of the eye for him. He wanted to meet Rudy before Rudy dies.
I love how we only got a few seconds of Nina like the episodes where Rudeus and Roxy were in the same place but never bumped into each other, so it's quite likely that we'll see her POV in a future episode as well.

Sppilers. Yeah I can definitely see them dropping the eris ova in between part 1 and part 2 of this season. She a big character, because we were with her all through season 1. It's not the same as missing sylphie cuz we only saw her for 2 episodes. But I think they want to check in with eris cuz the audience already knows her so much. And it's also good content for an ova. It's contained, has humor, has action scenes, and as you said they are clearly setting it up.
It's strange that in the anime badigadi didn't refer himself as the immortal demon king of wisdom, like How kishirika is the immortal demon empress, while kishirika gives you demon eyes, Badi gives you wisdom The immortal demon race is a very long lived, and most of them are weirdos with big personality

Rudeus‘ spell against Badigadi, the stone cannon, is an intermediate level spell - but because of Rudeus power level, it had the force of an emperor level spell behind it.
Well there's also his knowledge of firearms in the modern world that he implemented. Spinning it, rifling it, and focusing on speed rather than mass. That without a doubt is why it did so much damage.

Repost from the Genreverse channel: The entire sequence around Demon King Badigadi was unfortunately, censored and rushed. They skipped a line from Badigadi after Rudeus told him about Orsted, along the lines of: "Tell me boy, when you fought Dragon God Orsted, did you manage to wound him?" "Umn... I managed to scrape some of the skin off the back of his hand?" "Well, then I have a proposal..." Demon King Badigadi showing up was a VERY big deal, and there was an entire sequence where the students and faculty were panicking and essentially rallying the local military and all the heavy hitters in the area for a 'hope' of driving him away worse comes to worst. Rudeus's entire thought process was kinda to stall him long enough until the king-class mages and teachers could get down there. He was just as surprised as anyone when the stone cannon completely gibbed and splattered Badigadi's upper body, instead of knocking him off his feet as was shown here. They also skipped a lot of the build-up with Cliff and Rudy was DEFINITELY not nearly as calm as he was here about being swarmed by matrimonial duelists and having to stand up to Demon King Badigadi.

The thing that most LN readers don't like about this episode is that during Rudy and Badi's conversation Rudy tells him about his encounter with Orsted. Badi is surprised that he even survived and much less landed a blow against him which is why he gives Rudy the chance to hit him with one blow, the same he used against Orsted only stronger and more focused this time. Also it's worth noting that Badi pretty much made a b-line for Rudeus across the world and countries were mobilizing their armies to try and stop him. Even the teachers at the university tell him to stall Badi until the army arrives or something to that effect. It's details that maybe aren't super necessary and might be able to be inferred but are strangely omitted.

Just to give you a POV on how powerful the move Rudy just used in the novel just the spinning of the stone cannon spell was just ripping through the sound barrier and making deafly screaming noises of pure power and destruction.

@@nonlmao I believe this text is from the WN, instead of the LN. I know because I read both and can tell the differences. But the LN is still better and more detailed. And yes, it has a billion times more lore. And TONS of shit that wasn't in the anime, including season 1. I mean, like entire characters and locations and side-stories and shit. For example, (SPOILERS) he meets Zenith's sister, Therese, when he was traveling with Eris and Ruijerd through Milis. That's completely skipped in the anime even though its a pretty nice scene. In a side-story he (along with Eris and Ruijerd) also meets the Death God, that is the 5th of the Seven Great Powers. Though he doesn't get told who he just met is. Its one of the best scenes and I'm already feeling bad because I know it'll never get animated. And so on and so forth. The anime has visuals and sounds, yes, but in terms of information and actual things happening its far below either the WN or LN.
I'm interested to see kishirika kishirisu 'true form', after badi got hit by rudeus he also shrunk and got a very high pitched voice just like how we've seen her so far

This is just conjecture, but I don’t think Kishirika is immortal in the same way that Badi or the other ‘immortal’ demon king are. When Badi gets injured, he kinda congeals back together - Kishirika straight up died, she just reincarnated again later.
As another person wrote here, there’s no “true” form of Kishirika - she gets reborn as a child, grows up and dies to be reborn again while Badigadi just regenerates on the spot (it’s more like “collecting” his parts back together like T-1000). They are from different families of immortal demons thus their immortalities are different…
I think Rudeus said his magic “plateau’d” because magic is mostly a learned art. He might have insane mana and silent elemental spellcasting, but cranking up the power output on mere advanced rank spells will only take him so far.
It's because he rarely tries to creatively use all elements to make his magical attacks stronger. He avoids using fire magic at all costs, despite water magic being his strongest he spams earth magic the most because it's always the most safe option for him as a pacifist. He can definitely manipulate water magic to create lightning and fire magic to create plasma, but he is too afraid to use it.
Rudeu´s strongest spell right now is probably the purple nuclear fireball Orstet absorbed with his wyrm gate. But that would have destroyed the entire city and we can´t have that.

If i remember right from reading the LN, Rudeus did kill Badi here. Its just that Badi is immortal so he immediately respawned. Thats why he got small like that. Its not super clear in the anime though.
So good, Badigadi is dope. I just hope they do the next four episodes really well, ESPECIALLY some crucial stuff at the end... And leave us with a dope cliffhanger.
Think of the the fire ball and the earth drill as wide range vs single target spells. Rudy's fire ball last season was WAY stronger than the earth drill. Fun fact, had Orsted not cancelled out Rudy's fire ball with his wyrm gate he summoned as a shield, everyone but Orsted would have died. Ruijerd, Eris, Nanahoshi, and even Rudy himself would have all been vaporized. The blast would have been the equivalent of a small nuke. Since he's not in a panic fighting for his life this time around, he has the presence of mind not to set that kind of spell off in the middle of the academy.
Here are some extremely important missing stuff from the Light Novel. No spoilers at all. I suggest Autosave read this or other comments like this. I will be very quick and anime only for this episode is kind of bad for the context that is missing. Here are three things that are must knows. 1. Badi or Badigadi is immune from Demon Eyes. Prior to the duel when Rudy and Badi were discussing it. Rudy tried to look at him with his Demon Eye and Rudy saw nothing. This is one of the reasons Rudy got scared of their dual and asked to be spared if he lost. 2. Other are saying this in comment too with even more details but Badigadi crossed multiple countries/kingdoms very quickly once he heard about Rudy. They thought they may have even been a demon invasion about to take place. And he is a big enough threat that multiple S class guilds and other powerful figures in the MT universe were dispatched to either stop him or at least slow him down. He is strong enough of a threat to consider deploying a kingdoms military force. Or multiple kingdoms. The principal at the university was informed of this and secretly told Rudy to delay his duel long enough for forces to arrive that can deal with Badi. That's how much of a threat Badi is. Even Fitz was blocked from giving the staff to Rudy by adults at the university in an attempt to delay the duel as much as possible. But she had to push past them to deliver the staff as Fitz thought that if she was delayed to long Rudy would be forced to duel without it. 3. Upon hearing that Rudy had encountered Orsted and lived. He asked if he managed to injure Orsted. Rudy replied yes a tiny bit or something like that. It's at that point that Badi offered the hit me with your best shot. He wanted to be hit with the attack that wounded Orsted. Little more to it than that. But with these three facts alone the episode is a lot more complete. 4. Also when Rudy won the proposed duel it became aware Badi was not actively attacking/invading the kingdom after the kingdom finished their investigation of the situation.
about that bit with Badigadi and Lise. They were both in the same area of the Demon Continent when they learnred where Rudy was and...well Lise needed sex during her trip or she'd die and Kishirika was aware of this and capable of being understanding that as her body was only a childs and unable to take Badi, he needed an outlet so.... They have a very complex and intense history during their trip to the Magic Kingdoms.
It's also sad that over half of the anime only watchers don't realize that Badi lost his upper half of his body in that attack. Including Autosave. That's entirely the fault of the anime. So many ways to "show" that without showing it if they still wanted to censor it. You could have shown more debree of his body flying off. You could have someone comment on it. You could show it slightly less censored.
Some things need to be brought up, because the Anime altered some dialogue from Badigadi. - When Rudeus asks about Man God (Hitogami), Badigadi actually replies with: _"I can’t say! I think I’ve heard the name before, but I can’t recall where! It’s been a few centuries since anyone spoke of him to me, at the very least.”_ - In regards to how strong Rudeus stone canon was. That definitely was his strongest stone-canon hes made. But keep in mind that just because you have a massive mana-pool doesn't necessarily mean you can put every single drop of mana into a single spell. More mana means you can "customize" and alter a spells properties. This is also why sculpting figurines out of earth is so difficult. It uses such precise and even minor (small) tweaks, that it consumes a MASSIVE amount of mana. So much mana, that an average mage would be drained instantly and produce nothing (as seen with Zanoba, and to a lesser extent, Fitz). - Rudeus stone-canon also proves that you don't need high-ranking spells to have incredible destructive capabilities. Stone-canon is a mere Intermediate Earth Magic spell. It's not a King, Saint or let alone an Advanced rank spell. Generally, the higher ranked spells are more about area-of-effect. This stone-canon was the opposite. It was a highly detailed spell. - Before Badigadi arrived in Ranoa, he was noticed by the rulers of the nations of the Northern Territories. Badigadi moved so quickly that he was out running word-of-mouth about his appearance. Ranoa, Neris, and Basherant all dispatched their entire armies to intercept him. They also asked the Adventurers Guild for all S-rank adventurers help. By the time the armies and adventurers had surrounded the school, Badigadi was already inside. - Before the duel with Badigadi, the principal of the university, a Wind King mage named Georg, spoke with Rudeus and asked him to stall Badigadi as long as he could until the entire forces of the Northern Territories could engage Badigadi.
7:37 you'll probably see her again in an OVA most likely. It would be good if they decided to put that part in the regular episodes but I really think it will be an OVA.

I'm so sad the studio cut out Rudeus asking Sylphie what she thought of his staff in this episode. She says "It's so big..." and Rudeus says he felt a twinge of something downstairs.
I personally think that they wanted to show that Rudeus wanted to fully focus on badigadi and adding the dialogue would take away some of the attention from the moment.

I suspect the blue haired girl will appear in either an upcoming episode or ova. In the novel and Manga, you know exactly who she is and why she is there at that moment.

The principal of the Ranoa University (the greatest, the most prestigious educational facility for mages in the MT world) is a King Rank Wind Mage and King rank mages are so much sought by countires in the MT world to scout them as a Court mage. Remember that Roxy was scouted to be a court mage by the Syronne Kingdom even though she was still a saint rank mage, (and Syronne Kingdom is not some random nameless small, powerless and poor country in the MT world). And she only could become a King-rank mage after gaining access to the Royal library of the Syronne Kingdom as a court mage. A King Rank mage is that rare, valuable and strong mage in the MT world. So you now can easily guess what it means to be effectively an emperor rank mage and technically saint rank water mage at the same time by the MT world standards.
Enjoyed the reaction. I kind of assumed that Kishirika (with her many eyes) was disgusted because she could see Rudy's original form (much the way the Man God does). Sort of like Orstead said he knew about Rudy's sisters but not Rudy (i.e., Rudy is a thing introduced from outside the timeline).
This episode kinda has some missing stuff I hoped they’d had but all in all it’s pretty good I love this show and the light novels. also people of all ages can go to the school there’s people who age very different in this world so this school specifically accepts all ages and all races so there are people at this school older then you could possibly imagine. Also baddie is there for rudy she is right. They might do an ova for the blue hair girl but ig we will see.

All they saw is the unbelievable, incredible sight of the famous Demon King being shattered into pieces by just 'One Shot' from Rudeus.
A lot of the badi conversation was left out in the episode. Additionally the last attack he used on orsted was something entirely different, rudeus had given up on the prospect of getting out alive, and he was essentially using his limited knowledge of nuclear physics and thought he was gonna die from the aftermath
I believe the linage of immortals is actually immortal. Badi said he thought he was a goner, it means that he might be a goner "for a very long time" but still a finite amount of time. They literally can't die. And the actual explanation of their immortality is spoiler.

I like their guesses about who the blue-haired girl is despite being totally wrong. Obviously, her part was entirely cut but anyone who read the LN knows who she is in very clear details.
So I haven't read the manga or anything, but this left me wondering if Cliff actually loving her despite her... proclivities... is part of removing the curse.
Spoiler The girl with blue hair is Nina Farion - daughter of Gal Farion (The Sword God) and a live long rival of Eriss! She came to school to beat up Rudeus because Eriss bragged about him. She was defeated by Badigadi and was unconscious most of the interaction between Rudy and Badi but was there to see Rudy pulverize the upper half of the Demon Lord. After that she immediately ran away as she understood she had no chances against such a guy… I’m so excited to see Eriss at Gal Farion’s dojo - hope they will make something like an ova or a .5 episode to tell us about her training!

"Humans are too hasty", in the sense that humans are mortals so they are mostly goal-oriented and doesn't relax much. Unlike Demon lords who are immortal and can spend years hibernating or relaxing. Badigadi is a prime example of how an immortal's perspective is like.
what actualy happened was that rudy mentioned he scratched orsted with an attack and badi wanted rudeus to use the exact same attack on him. im not sure why they changed this for the anime.

the blue hair girl was lying in the ground too next to badi THIS IS NOT A SPOILER im reading the light novel(still in season one), when rudy met kishirika she said that he was disgusting because he had more mana than laplace. rudy already knew kishirika name, he studied history while he was teaching eris at the boreas mansion, he read a book that tells the story of the world and kishirika first appears dates back 10k years ago in the books. he also read that laplace become famous after the fight against the immortal demon king i highly recommend to read at least this part about kishirika in the LN when rudy was reading a book about the world
please don't mention anything about other media (novel/manga/whatever). it's the anime staff's decision to make the anime like this, and the anime is not even finished, they could've saved some stuff for a later episode. and it's Ben and Anna decision to look up the other media or not.
That stone canon was as hard and fast as he cud make it, so yea he went all out on that shot. He cud do a more powerfull spell yes. An explosion that woud destroy the entire school if not the citty or an gian metheor to fall from the sky but he woud kill everyone arrownd him. Those spells are no good unless you are 1.- far far away from the impact radious 2.-your opinent its an army, a castle or a grate world power. That stone canon was the stronguest he cud make at that scale. The mana compression in that small projectile was no joke, it can pirce trough any armor. Not even Orsted woud like to be on the reciving end of that shot.

There's a detail with the attack that's kinda been censored in the anime. It actually blew Badigadi's upper half off completely. The dude was just legs and waist for a couple of seconds, which is why he thought he accidentally killed him. He just regenerated right after (hence why he's considered immortal).
After the fact, Badigadi said that Rudeus' attack was at about Emperor level.
Also, as aftermath, it was emphasized how scared everyone was of Rudy's power after seeing this display. This will be relevant later on in the story.

Edit 2: You're absolutely right about that not being Rudy's most destructive attack. Originally, the conversation revolved around the encounter with Orsted once he was mentioned. Badigadi asked if Rudy was able to harm him, and he said yes, that he bruised his hand, lightly. Then, Badi asked him to use the same attack he used back then.
The purple fireball thing, iirc, was plasma. If that attack hadn't been nullified by Orsted, everyone around would've died: Nanahoshi, Eris, Ruijerd and Rudy; Idk if Orsted himself. So, actually, Orsted saved everyone's lives by blocking it the way he did. That attack was WAY more destructive than the drill rock cannon attack.
Edit 3: I think everyone that read the Novels or the manga would agree that the anime made the blue haired girl WAAAAAY cuter than any other iteration of her. She's adorable here haha
There's been a few bits of very jarring censorship this season - they might as well have gone full DxD and just covered the mess with a huge chibi emoji saying "blu ray only".

Fun fact, apparently Badigadi made a line through several kingdoms in order to get to rudy, getting them in a panic, mobilizing their armies in order to stop him. But by the time they'd assembled he'd already passed through, like a hurricane. At the academy the teachers also just wanted Rudy to keep him occupied for a while while a counter-force assembled to attack Badigadi, they didn't expect him to actually win.
The anime barely showed it, But Rudeus blew his freaking torso off.
Bagidadi accompanied someone in search of the same person and they separated after reaching the harbor from the Demon Continent... However, saying who would be spoilers (Assuming the anime really left out that information)

Fun fact Cliff gave her his permission to cheat on him because of her curse as long as her heart is with him but that only made her want to stay faithful to him even more so despite her lewd behavior she never cheats on him and stays faithful for the most part. To satisfy her curse she rides our boy so often it should exhaust his lower half 💀 the only time she'd ever cheat on him is when she has absolutely no choicd due to her curse because Cliff isn't in the area and holding out any longer would kill herself

Yeah I can definitely see them dropping the eris ova in between part 1 and part 2 of this season. She a big character, because we were with her all through season 1.
It's not the same as missing sylphie cuz we only saw her for 2 episodes. But I think they want to check in with eris cuz the audience already knows her so much.
And it's also good content for an ova. It's contained, has humor, has action scenes, and as you said they are clearly setting it up.

Rudeus‘ spell against Badigadi, the stone cannon, is an intermediate level spell - but because of Rudeus power level, it had the force of an emperor level spell behind it.
Well there's also his knowledge of firearms in the modern world that he implemented. Spinning it, rifling it, and focusing on speed rather than mass. That without a doubt is why it did so much damage.

The entire sequence around Demon King Badigadi was unfortunately, censored and rushed. They skipped a line from Badigadi after Rudeus told him about Orsted, along the lines of:
"Tell me boy, when you fought Dragon God Orsted, did you manage to wound him?"
"Umn... I managed to scrape some of the skin off the back of his hand?"
"Well, then I have a proposal..."
Demon King Badigadi showing up was a VERY big deal, and there was an entire sequence where the students and faculty were panicking and essentially rallying the local military and all the heavy hitters in the area for a 'hope' of driving him away worse comes to worst. Rudeus's entire thought process was kinda to stall him long enough until the king-class mages and teachers could get down there.
He was just as surprised as anyone when the stone cannon completely gibbed and splattered Badigadi's upper body, instead of knocking him off his feet as was shown here.
They also skipped a lot of the build-up with Cliff and Rudy was DEFINITELY not nearly as calm as he was here about being swarmed by matrimonial duelists and having to stand up to Demon King Badigadi.
It was not really censored we could clearly see his whole upper half gone when up in the air

@@thomaszimmer371 presented poorly is arguably as bad as censoring. There was no need for a dbz dust cloud, certainly wasn't one in the LN.
The thing that most LN readers don't like about this episode is that during Rudy and Badi's conversation Rudy tells him about his encounter with Orsted. Badi is surprised that he even survived and much less landed a blow against him which is why he gives Rudy the chance to hit him with one blow, the same he used against Orsted only stronger and more focused this time. Also it's worth noting that Badi pretty much made a b-line for Rudeus across the world and countries were mobilizing their armies to try and stop him. Even the teachers at the university tell him to stall Badi until the army arrives or something to that effect. It's details that maybe aren't super necessary and might be able to be inferred but are strangely omitted.
I just want to see Eris face when someone tells her that Rudy beat the Demon King
idk if she actually does hear about it but it's a possibility, tho I doubt she'd be surprised. I can totally see her just going "Of course he could, he's incredible" Also fun fact Badigadi is mention just as soon as they enter Rikarisu city as it's part of Badigadi's territory as a demon lord.
Just to give you a POV on how powerful the move Rudy just used in the novel just the spinning of the stone cannon spell was just ripping through the sound barrier and making deafly screaming noises of pure power and destruction.

I think he did die but immediately resurrected. He was small until his arms crawled back to him. I have a feeling that Kishirika is the same way and will "grow up" when she finds an item or body part. Remember the statue of her in the drake cave? She was grown up in her depiction in the statue.

@@nonlmao I believe this text is from the WN, instead of the LN. I know because I read both and can tell the differences. But the LN is still better and more detailed. And yes, it has a billion times more lore. And TONS of shit that wasn't in the anime, including season 1. I mean, like entire characters and locations and side-stories and shit.
For example, (SPOILERS) he meets Zenith's sister, Therese, when he was traveling with Eris and Ruijerd through Milis. That's completely skipped in the anime even though its a pretty nice scene. In a side-story he (along with Eris and Ruijerd) also meets the Death God, that is the 5th of the Seven Great Powers. Though he doesn't get told who he just met is. Its one of the best scenes and I'm already feeling bad because I know it'll never get animated.
And so on and so forth. The anime has visuals and sounds, yes, but in terms of information and actual things happening its far below either the WN or LN.
I'm interested to see kishirika kishirisu 'true form', after badi got hit by rudeus he also shrunk and got a very high pitched voice just like how we've seen her so far

This is just conjecture, but I don’t think Kishirika is immortal in the same way that Badi or the other ‘immortal’ demon king are. When Badi gets injured, he kinda congeals back together - Kishirika straight up died, she just reincarnated again later.
As another person wrote here, there’s no “true” form of Kishirika - she gets reborn as a child, grows up and dies to be reborn again while Badigadi just regenerates on the spot (it’s more like “collecting” his parts back together like T-1000). They are from different families of immortal demons thus their immortalities are different…

I think Rudeus said his magic “plateau’d” because magic is mostly a learned art.
He might have insane mana and silent elemental spellcasting, but cranking up the power output on mere advanced rank spells will only take him so far.
It's because he rarely tries to creatively use all elements to make his magical attacks stronger. He avoids using fire magic at all costs, despite water magic being his strongest he spams earth magic the most because it's always the most safe option for him as a pacifist. He can definitely manipulate water magic to create lightning and fire magic to create plasma, but he is too afraid to use it.

Whenever i watch your reaction to Mushoku Tensei it reminds me how much i love the show and when i read the series for the first time.
If i remember right from reading the LN, Rudeus did kill Badi here. Its just that Badi is immortal so he immediately respawned. Thats why he got small like that. Its not super clear in the anime though.
So good, Badigadi is dope. I just hope they do the next four episodes really well, ESPECIALLY some crucial stuff at the end... And leave us with a dope cliffhanger.

Think of the the fire ball and the earth drill as wide range vs single target spells. Rudy's fire ball last season was WAY stronger than the earth drill. Fun fact, had Orsted not cancelled out Rudy's fire ball with his wyrm gate he summoned as a shield, everyone but Orsted would have died. Ruijerd, Eris, Nanahoshi, and even Rudy himself would have all been vaporized. The blast would have been the equivalent of a small nuke. Since he's not in a panic fighting for his life this time around, he has the presence of mind not to set that kind of spell off in the middle of the academy.
Here are some extremely important missing stuff from the Light Novel. No spoilers at all. I suggest Autosave read this or other comments like this. I will be very quick and anime only for this episode is kind of bad for the context that is missing. Here are three things that are must knows.
1. Badi or Badigadi is immune from Demon Eyes. Prior to the duel when Rudy and Badi were discussing it. Rudy tried to look at him with his Demon Eye and Rudy saw nothing. This is one of the reasons Rudy got scared of their dual and asked to be spared if he lost.
2. Other are saying this in comment too with even more details but Badigadi crossed multiple countries/kingdoms very quickly once he heard about Rudy. They thought they may have even been a demon invasion about to take place. And he is a big enough threat that multiple S class guilds and other powerful figures in the MT universe were dispatched to either stop him or at least slow him down. He is strong enough of a threat to consider deploying a kingdoms military force. Or multiple kingdoms. The principal at the university was informed of this and secretly told Rudy to delay his duel long enough for forces to arrive that can deal with Badi. That's how much of a threat Badi is. Even Fitz was blocked from giving the staff to Rudy by adults at the university in an attempt to delay the duel as much as possible. But she had to push past them to deliver the staff as Fitz thought that if she was delayed to long Rudy would be forced to duel without it.
3. Upon hearing that Rudy had encountered Orsted and lived. He asked if he managed to injure Orsted. Rudy replied yes a tiny bit or something like that. It's at that point that Badi offered the hit me with your best shot. He wanted to be hit with the attack that wounded Orsted. Little more to it than that. But with these three facts alone the episode is a lot more complete.
4. Also when Rudy won the proposed duel it became aware Badi was not actively attacking/invading the kingdom after the kingdom finished their investigation of the situation.

about that bit with Badigadi and Lise.
They were both in the same area of the Demon Continent when they learnred where Rudy was and...well Lise needed sex during her trip or she'd die and Kishirika was aware of this and capable of being understanding that as her body was only a childs and unable to take Badi, he needed an outlet so....
They have a very complex and intense history during their trip to the Magic Kingdoms.
Badi seems to follow the Kiss-Shot rules where your body gets younger after losing body parts
It's also sad that over half of the anime only watchers don't realize that Badi lost his upper half of his body in that attack. Including Autosave. That's entirely the fault of the anime. So many ways to "show" that without showing it if they still wanted to censor it. You could have shown more debree of his body flying off. You could have someone comment on it. You could show it slightly less censored.
The anime butchered a lot in this episode. Far too rushed.

Some things need to be brought up, because the Anime altered some dialogue from Badigadi.
- When Rudeus asks about Man God (Hitogami), Badigadi actually replies with: _"I can’t say! I think I’ve heard the name before, but I can’t recall where! It’s been a few centuries since anyone spoke of him to me, at the very least.”_
- In regards to how strong Rudeus stone canon was. That definitely was his strongest stone-canon hes made. But keep in mind that just because you have a massive mana-pool doesn't necessarily mean you can put every single drop of mana into a single spell. More mana means you can "customize" and alter a spells properties. This is also why sculpting figurines out of earth is so difficult. It uses such precise and even minor (small) tweaks, that it consumes a MASSIVE amount of mana. So much mana, that an average mage would be drained instantly and produce nothing (as seen with Zanoba, and to a lesser extent, Fitz).
- Rudeus stone-canon also proves that you don't need high-ranking spells to have incredible destructive capabilities. Stone-canon is a mere Intermediate Earth Magic spell. It's not a King, Saint or let alone an Advanced rank spell. Generally, the higher ranked spells are more about area-of-effect. This stone-canon was the opposite. It was a highly detailed spell.
- Before Badigadi arrived in Ranoa, he was noticed by the rulers of the nations of the Northern Territories. Badigadi moved so quickly that he was out running word-of-mouth about his appearance. Ranoa, Neris, and Basherant all dispatched their entire armies to intercept him. They also asked the Adventurers Guild for all S-rank adventurers help. By the time the armies and adventurers had surrounded the school, Badigadi was already inside.
- Before the duel with Badigadi, the principal of the university, a Wind King mage named Georg, spoke with Rudeus and asked him to stall Badigadi as long as he could until the entire forces of the Northern Territories could engage Badigadi.
Also Elinalise has already tapped Badigadi; before she found rudeus.
7:37 you'll probably see her again in an OVA most likely. It would be good if they decided to put that part in the regular episodes but I really think it will be an OVA.

I personally think that they wanted to show that Rudeus wanted to fully focus on badigadi and adding the dialogue would take away some of the attention from the moment.

Beginner - intetmediate- advanced - saint - king - emperor - God (technical levels of mage and swordmanship in the MT world).
Which means while Rudeus is still technically a saint class water mage, his combat ability is effectively on par with an Emperor rank mage.
Then how rare and strong he is as a mage by common and normal MT world standards ?
The principal of the Ranoa University (the greatest, the most prestigious educational facility for mages in the MT world) is a King Rank Wind Mage and King rank mages are so much sought by countires in the MT world to scout them as a Court mage.
Remember that Roxy was scouted to be a court mage by the Syronne Kingdom even though she was still a saint rank mage, (and Syronne Kingdom is not some random nameless small, powerless and poor country in the MT world). And she only could become a King-rank mage after gaining access to the Royal library of the Syronne Kingdom as a court mage.
A King Rank mage is that rare, valuable and strong mage in the MT world.
So you now can easily guess what it means to be effectively an emperor rank mage and technically saint rank water mage at the same time by the MT world standards.

All they saw is the unbelievable, incredible sight of the famous Demon King being shattered into pieces by just 'One Shot' from Rudeus.
A lot of the badi conversation was left out in the episode. Additionally the last attack he used on orsted was something entirely different, rudeus had given up on the prospect of getting out alive, and he was essentially using his limited knowledge of nuclear physics and thought he was gonna die from the aftermath

The beastfolk didn’t take this question well at all. Shouts of “Get in line!” and various insults came flying from all directions. XXX was furious too. She’d come a very long way, and she was waiting patiently. She told the demon to wait his turn like everyone else.
But then, in the midst of all the jeering… one fool said something he definitely shouldn’t have. “You want to go first, big man? Then you better defeat everyone who got here before you!”

Compared to many of the others, XXX’s effort was fairly respectable. But the Demon King was on a whole different level. Before she could even think up some sort of plan, he’d caught her, smacked her brutally to the ground, and broke her beloved sword apart.
As she lay there groaning in pain, her mind was full of terror and bewilderment. Why was she fighting a Demon King in the middle of some school for magicians? What was a ruler from the Demon Continent even doing all the way out here?
Everyone else was thinking the exact same thing, of course.
Mere moments after XXX fell, Badigadi finished off the entire group of beastfolk. Somehow, although most were injured, none seemed to be dead. He’d taken it easy on them.
The moment she realized this, XXX shed bitter tears onto her quivering fists. But no matter how deep her frustration, she couldn’t do a thing now that her sword was lost.
“…What the hell?”
In that exact instant, Rudeus had emerged from the library. He spoke with the Demon King for a time, after which they moved elsewhere.

The girl with blue hair is Nina Farion - daughter of Gal Farion (The Sword God) and a live long rival of Eriss!
She came to school to beat up Rudeus because Eriss bragged about him. She was defeated by Badigadi and was unconscious most of the interaction between Rudy and Badi but was there to see Rudy pulverize the upper half of the Demon Lord. After that she immediately ran away as she understood she had no chances against such a guy…

what actualy happened was that rudy mentioned he scratched orsted with an attack and badi wanted rudeus to use the exact same attack on him. im not sure why they changed this for the anime.

She was born with it. This should've been clear but in the initial broadcast, they forgot to give her the demon eye in the brief flashback to when she was a child. I believe it was amended in the Bluray release.

I think the spell used in badigadi was a low tier spell on earth magic but max with rudeus mana. Sonwe could say that it was his strongest spell among earth magic?? Coz rudues best element is water and had a spell that could blow cities.
Well they skipped this but when Roxy found out about Rudeus mom she decided to split and go to Paul with Dwarf and send Elinalise to Rudeus but Badigadi also tagged along with her on the Journey as Kishirika told him . But I guess they split their way between . And Yup Elinalise and Badigadi had already slept with each other so no problem their 😏

Rudeus fight help the university to bring the soldiers, mages, mercenaries and every one who coult fight against the demon king, but at the end Badigadi is only alow to stay in the university becouse he left one of his arms to be study and he train the city soldiers
7:40 the *REDACTED* got so cute in anime!! we dont have many ilustations of her on the source material evem if we include the manga i an so happy for her fast spotlight! but i find hard to belive that we will get her POV next episode, but is a very stong contender to get a OVA.
Also the anime dint do justice to who chaotic Badigadi arrival was, had gone in a string line crossing many countries calsing panic, armys where assemble, adventurers where recruited, tributes where prepared. the political landscape of the northen region got shakend for years to come.

im reading the light novel(still in season one), when rudy met kishirika she said that he was disgusting because he had more mana than laplace. rudy already knew kishirika name, he studied history while he was teaching eris at the boreas mansion, he read a book that tells the story of the world and kishirika first appears dates back 10k years ago in the books. he also read that laplace become famous after the fight against the immortal demon king
i highly recommend to read at least this part about kishirika in the LN when rudy was reading a book about the world
