    I’d like to buy all the foods you mentioned. Love you and your show. I’d also love to see Melissa with her own show on Sicily.

    Great show. But I think you should put up links to all the food and wine so we can enjoy them also. Grazie

      You must be from Hammer town :) they have a big immigrant population from Raculmuto. Sicily turned out to be our best vacation to date. offered more than we had expected.

    Mike Colameco,as these series get filmed,and the days go by,your demeanor,both the language and physical looks ,seem to COMPLETELY transform into one of the less reputable ''cousins ''of the the Corleone Family!! LOVE your series..just get a more 'Mfiosio look..and carry a sawed off shotgun ...lupara..!1 around as a good prop..to maybe stir a few pasta and sauce dishes.

    Maybe everyone is forgetting that the fantastic Italian cheese industry would have collapsed as from the early 1990s dairy farms and cheese makers were not able to find enough Italian people to work in their dairies and cheese factories. So the dairy farms and cheese factories got SIKH people from India to work for them. The SIKH people have been reliable and do not cause trouble and are the backbone of the Italian cheese industry.
    Working on a dairy farm involves starting work from 12-2am and working in a cheese factory involves starting work from 5-6am. Some modern Italian people like to party at night and wander around the town at midnight with their friends. Sorry if you want work - you have to get to bed very early.

    You just seem to go round the world to places with fantastic local food, and find some fine dining chef who makes second rate food,nothing like as good as the proper food of the area.

    • @Mutiny960
      @Mutiny960 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Goes with your 2nd rate comment. No one is sorry that this great food is not up "yelp reviewer" standards. They had a Fresh local Veal, Chocolate, Foie gras dish. Wtf else do you want? Caviar on everything? Gold Flakes? Get the fuck out you dumb shit lol.

    the host is explaining what the chef is doing step by step like hes surprised that they know how to cook. an American. where their chefs go to france and Italy to learn how to cook properly. sicily might not be Tuscany where chefs go to learn but they still impacted American cuisine and a lot of western coutries with their dishes and desserts. ugh

    • @christianh4723

      He's describing it for the audience / viewers of the show, many who aren't trained chefs... not because he's surprised that they know what they're doing.

      If you believe italian food is something like Chicken Parmesan, Chicago Pizza or creamy pasta Alfredo, yes it is sure over rated American Stuff people credited as Italian food. 🤔
