Jackie ending up with Fez seemed completely random, and there was no indication that she was romantically interested in him until then. Fortunately, Jackie left Fez for Kelso soon after, even having a son with him.
Yeah I see that as both course correction for the bad Jackie-fez relationship to start with along with acknowledging the real-world history too. I mean they are together after all
I wouldn't say there was NO indication, because there were a small handful of moments earlier in the series where it's kinda hinted that she might be interested in Fez, even though they really don't make a strong case for it. I don't remember the exact context, but I remember the group was at the movies, and Fez basically misread Jackie and thought she was sending signals for him to make a move, so he kissed her, and she kissed back for a few seconds before realizing it was him and she got understandably pissed. I think she thought he was Kelso at first, or she just got blindsided and was lost in the moment for a moment. She also later admits to Donna that the kiss was really good, and didn't seem to be mad about it at all anymore. This can potentially indicate that she just thinks Fez is a good kisser or that she liked him kissing her and just wasn't consciously aware of that. There were also times that Jackie used Fez to try and make Kelso jealous, but ended up just having a lot of fun with him. I'm pretty sure she even said at some point that she might consider dating him if he wasn't foreign. Now, I'm not saying these are good setups for a potential Fez and Jackie relationship, or that these instances justify Fez and Jackie suddenly being together at the end of the show, as these happened WAY earlier in the show and hadn't been touched on for at least four or five seasons. I'm just saying that there were some things that could indicate this as a potential relationship beforehand, but nowhere near often or recent enough to actually make this sudden relationship feel genuine.
@@MagillanicaLouM perhaps but it was later revealed it was partially because the new writers at the time didn’t like the Jackie character and preferred the bickering dynamic from previous seasons with Hyde. So tanked the relationship. Even the actors called it out in subsequent years as bad writing.
Yeah, honest to God, that interaction between Bob and Fez (pretending to be fatso) is one of the funniest damn things I've seen to this day. My only sticking point with the episode is that Donna was WAY too excited to be committing a crime, because she had done worse in the past. So her acting like a repressed goody two shoes discovering the joys of vandalism for the first time was a significant regression of her character IMO.

They rectify Jackie and Fez in That 90s. Its revealed that Jackie cheated Fez with Kelso. Married him and has a child that is one of the protagonists.I undesrand that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are married, but doing that to Fez is criminal.
The Jay Kelso problem. Fez says they were at a sandals resort when she split, sandals wasn't a thing till 82 .Even if she got pregnant immediately,Jay would be born in late 82 it's 1995 in the new show....Jay is 13?
The end credits, the return of characters, Kitty & Donna, and that last circle.. Those are the high points. What I would change? Randy falls off the tower and dies. A moment for Laurie. Fez comes out. Hyde gets arrested. Eric comes back early. Post credit scene- Red and Kitty at a Packers game..
The gang’s reunion on the finale just showed that Eric and Michael were dearly missed during season 8. The chemistry just picked up like nothing happened and we were left to think what could have been.
I definitely agree. That 70s Show had a bittersweet ending. On the one hand I was so happy that Kelso and Eric came back after having not been there for majority of the season and slugging through the season's awful writing and Randy. But there's no denying that there was still quite a bit wrong with it as well. I thought it was weird that Laurie wasn't there for one it would've been nice if she was there (and they were able to get Lisa Robin Kelly back at least one last time). I also agree that Fez and Jackie made no sense in the grad scheme of things, the thing that made their relationship so annoying was how obviously forced the relationship was magically making Fez be all the things that Jackie was looking for when she wrote it down on paper. The relationship just wasn't genuine in feeling at all. And as much as I disliked Randy, I agree that he was a big part of the show (no matter how insufferable he was) and it just felt weird how he wasn't mentioned at all especially between Donna and Eric. At least with Samantha, they properly wrote her out by having her move back to Vegas. And what you said towards the end about how there was no clear distinction of where the characters were heading in life, this is actually one of the reasons why I wasn't to see a continuation of the show. Don't get me wrong, the idea was interesting but when I thought about it even back all those many years when I first saw the finale and how many people were saying that they should do another series with them in the 90s, I just couldn't fully get behind it because I couldn't think of what the characters would be doing... Overall I do see where you're coming from and I can agree. It's definiely one of those things that felt warm and good on paper but when you unwrap it, there were things about it that could've been better done.

I can't wait to see your review of "That 90's Show", Vee. I'm on the third episode so far, and I like it thus far. The characters are engaging, without being total carbon copies of the original group, and Leia really shines in particular. I also enjoy the 90's references, character cameos and Kitty and Red's supporting roles.
The new group of teens came off as extremely cringey and unfunny in the trailer I saw. Just my opinion from what the trailer showed. Seems like Red and Kitty are the best part of the new show.
Great Video. I'm Gen-X and lived the era represented on That 70s Show. The Question you asked about Donna? The answer , unfortunately, reflects on the generation. Yes She had to give up her dreams again, she got pregnant in the early 80s. There was a lot of that going on in the real world at that time, I saw many friends who had their plans waylaid by irresponsibly getting laid. Since that bit of era-sensitive nostalgia has been established in the series from season 1, and with the age of Leia in That 90's Show, I would posit this as your answer to what happened with Donna.
Very true, Leo also came into Growing Pains when it was well past its prime, an actor can only do so much and new characters joining a sitcom in later seasons of a show really never works out for the most part.
Bad finale? Kinda. Worst finale of all time? For me it will always be Two and a Half Men. Hands down. Made nobody happy, accomplished nothing, and was just a way to spite Charlie Sheen, as if it wasn’t done enough prior.

That 70s show was an incredible sitcom for parents and kids of every era, literally timeless. Personally I watched it originally from reruns on some weird four-letter name cable channel. Anyways Jackie and Fez video would be sick yo.
The very last episode of That 70s Show took place on December 31st, 1979... in That 90s Show, Leia Forman turns 15 in July 1995. Which means that she was born in July of 1980, meaning that Donna was pregnant with her in the last episode of That 70s Show... but Eric was in Africa all year Also, Kelso and Jackie's kid is older than Leia which means that Jackie was also pregnant in the finale of That 70s Show, but she wasn't with Kelso she was with Fez
Kelso and Jackie slept together at the end of season 7. Eric left for Africa in the fall and show ended on new years eve. Fuzzy math could make that work. Even though the new show should of took place in 1996 or 1997.
I'm not sure where you heard Eric becoming unlikable was about Topher, apparently, they just didn't know how to keep Eric around otherwise while maintaining the same formula. They had to give up his character direction for it but it ended up flanderizing him so much that personally I wasn't even bothered he left for Africa at the finale. The rest of the cast mostly made sense (Donna was pushing it as well but she did have a great job to stay around for at least), but Eric for his story arc should have left Point Place after Red recovered from his heart attack. I'm sure Topher Grace's apathy for the role at that point affected things (though I haven't read or heard that he stopped being professional, just that he wasn't socializing with the cast and staff) as well but at least the official reason was writer's block and artificialy essentially keeping him a teenager at home. Also, his rushed story in the finale was actually because of him. He apparently wasn't too fond of returning until convinced and they only got so much screen time to add him.
I think it was bit unfair that the reporting about Topher not hanging out with cast mates after work assumed that he was difficult or had any beef with anyone. They can spend a pretty long time shooting, maybe he's the type of person who wants to go home and unwind after work and get to bed at reasonable hour, maybe they liked to party hard or that's not that's not how he rolls, or perhaps he's an introvert and needs to be alone to recharge after being in a crowd for that long. All kinds of reasons people might not want to hang out after work that don't mean he's a dick. It's okay to just show up to work, do your job well, not cause any problems, and go home when you're done. I don't know why people acted like that was weird somehow.
I like the finale it closed everyone story arc even though I disagree with the direction with the characters they have good chemistry. I think the longer it dragged on the worst it got they should have ended it sooner because no one liked randy
In my opinion the first 4 episodes of season 8 are really good (the ones with kelso) cuz the gang still feels like they did in seasons before and I just actually enjoy the plots and characters but after kelso leaves and randy gets more lines it starts to suck
These events in a show plot serve to remind us that it is fiction, a creation owned by the authors, show runners etc. While I often get pulled into a story, it serves mental health to remember that the purpose of a shoe is to make money for the owner. With that as the base line, all these disappointments are less painful: It ain’t real.
You know why Eric works and Randy doesn't is the group was mostly outcasts only having one cool guy in the group I might hate Star Wars but Eric is the most lovable live action nerd in television history Randy isn't dumb enough to be entertaining replacement for Kelso and isn't dorky enough to be a good replacement for Eric
Well, as always, I'm happy to be the lone voice of dissension, because I absolutely love the finale ... I thought it was one of the all-time best finales of any series, right up there with 'Bates Motel', 'X-Files' and 'Seinfeld' (which, I know, much like, T70S Finale, was much hated by many) ... Just wanted there to be one positive opinion on here amidst all the tiresome hate
Masterson was NOT found guilty by THREE court juries after three years. ENOIUGH Already! The new 90's show NEEDS him Back! H was one of the funniest characters on the show--especially when teamed with Chong! The "new" kids are boring as hell...the 70's show was WAY funnier. They try and make this like a stupid Disney show--and we all know how STUPID Disney shows are NOW. Get the old writer's back...Focus on Red and Kitty';s kids and friends. Period. Otherwise this show won't be back.
The writers literally saw the Rachel and Joey pairing on friends and thought "that was such a good idea that had to have been so beloved by the fans, we should try to do the same thing!
I'd rather see a video with your take on the 90's Show. I liked it a lot, but I'm not sure what the consensus is. I feel like not everyone liked the new teens as much as I did.
I felt bad for Randy in the finale. He was in the whole season, only to be scrubbed out, cuz of the return of Eric. Donna should have ended up with Randy, Eric treated Donna like dirt.
The finale was decent. But Kelso should have ended with Jackie, Erik returns with Donna, Few should have pointed to a glove off camera simple as that, and Hyde should have said " ohh my eye" n Kelso goes upstairs sneaky n fast
If Danny Masterson hadn't done what he did, Hyde should have ended up with Jackie in the new show. But Kelso and Jackie is at least better than Fez and Jackie. They really should at least write off Hyde in some dialogue; someone said something about maybe he's in prison, which would be both fitting and ironic.
Jackie ending up with fez was wtf. I hated it at that moment and have proceeded to hate it ever since. blame the new group of writers they had for season 8! Also for how they played the whole Jackie Hyde marry stripper fiasco. yuck
The new 90s show doesn’t look good. It looks like it will try to recreate the magic of the original show with the 90s flavor but the new characters don’t look compelling enough. They all look boring, bland and dull like characters.
I think you are taking some big leaps with your assertions. People who didn't like Eric to begin with were the ones who doubled down on their dislike. I've always liked him and found his motivation for wanting to leave home completely relatable. And it doesn't mean that he's completely in the right. It just means you are going to hurt people at times while discovering yourself, and it isn't necessarily intentional or malicious.
Honestly, the series finale wasn't that good. But the biggest issues with the finale were caused by things that were setup by the rest of the season, so I can't hold that too much against this specific episode. Although the Jackie and Fez kiss thing was bad, and it really felt forced, even more so than the rest of the relationship between them.
I just started watching that 90s show and I actually really like it so far so I'm actually not surprised to see this video and I can't wait to see what you think of the new show

Are we for or against using music in videos?

The series finale could've been a two hour TV movie.
I want someone to address Randy in That 90’s Show. Don’t be cowards
The very last episode of That 70s Show took place on December 31st, 1979... in That 90s Show, Leia Forman turns 15 in July 1995. Which means that she was born in July of 1980, meaning that Donna was pregnant with her in the last episode of That 70s Show... but Eric was in Africa all year
Also, Kelso and Jackie's kid is older than Leia which means that Jackie was also pregnant in the finale of That 70s Show, but she wasn't with Kelso she was with Fez
The only reason I continued to watch all the seasons of this show is because I will forever be a simp for Mila Kunis 😍
In my opinion the first 4 episodes of season 8 are really good (the ones with kelso) cuz the gang still feels like they did in seasons before and I just actually enjoy the plots and characters but after kelso leaves and randy gets more lines it starts to suck
Season 8 would've been so much better had they kept Charlie Richardson.
Great show, the finale was such a smoking mess. Kitty is so freaking manic, like she the person is having a break down
You know why Eric works and Randy doesn't is the group was mostly outcasts only having one cool guy in the group I might hate Star Wars but Eric is the most lovable live action nerd in television history Randy isn't dumb enough to be entertaining replacement for Kelso and isn't dorky enough to be a good replacement for Eric
The episode where they steal the clown was pretty hysterical
I actually don't mind Randy,, don't know why, he's not better than the rest of the og cast, but he is not as bad as people say
Spoiler alert Well, I got the news for you
Jackie leaves fez to get back with Michael
It didn't surprise me since the actors are together in real life
Fez and Jackie was worse than Joey and Rachel or equally bad for different reasons. I can't decide
You are inspiring me to start watching this show past the 3rd season where i left off.
Happy to see something other than Batman!! I love Batman but i am burned out with any superhero things
I want to see them all with families in that 90s show
Well, as always, I'm happy to be the lone voice of dissension, because I absolutely love the finale ...
It was the 70s!
Also god I forgot about Kelso's daughter.
You have talked about a lot of legendary sitcoms. Ever thought about doing everybody loves Raymond? That show was an entertainment beast.
I hope you do a That 90s Show video. it'll be fun watching you rip it apart lol.
Love you bro and love the vids keep it uppp
It's not Ashton Kutcher, it's Kevin Malone.
Jackie should have been with Hyde
They should have never broken up Jackie and Hyde. That upset a lot of people.
Loved this video
Dang Kevin conroys cameo hit me in the feels
I liked Charlie and they should of kept him for longer. Randy was soooooo awful!🤦♀️
I wonder if Vee Infuso will a review of That 90’s Show.
Don't care about Jackie or Fez relationship!
Can't wait for that 90's show review
Dude. Jackie and Fez was so stupid that they confirmed they broke up in about a week.
Sadly in 2024, this is really true. The last season sucked and the finale also sucked. I just re-watched that finale.
I just pretend the last season doesn't exist
And the reboots/sequels
@@starcrysis23 we don't talk about that 80s show lol
Fun it is definitely the best episode of Season 8
PLEASE do a Video on THAT 90s Show, I really want to know your Opinion on that Show!
I figured out that fez from an island country. It used either colonized by dutch or British
They all look boring, bland and dull like characters.
yeah i just tried watching the first episode...
I hope in that 90s show Randy appears in one episode to say high to red and kitty and they forgot who he is 😂
It was the 30s!
Seasons 1-5 were the best. Everything after that sucked
I don't understand why people just make the same video all the time yes everything you said I understand
Definitely release the Jackie fez video.
The Jackie-Fez relationship was a mistake! A terrible mistake just waiting to get retconned!
"That 70's Show finale was the worst"
That 90's Show: Hold my beer
Lol
They did it even worse, Nate and Leia is so random, they had to have some sort of cliffhanger 🙄
Never really cared for the show, so I wouldn't have been surprised if the finale sucked
Are we going to get a video on your thoughts on that 90s show
I just started watching that 90s show and I actually really like it so far so I'm actually not surprised to see this video and I can't wait to see what you think of the new show
I'm a huge That 70s Show fan and I've never even seen the finale. I tried sitting through season 8 and couldn't do it.
I thought the last episode was a rare good episode in a sea of awful season 8 episodes
Red Reminds me of my late uncle. Ha ha the crap he says is similar to what Red said. ( Only in a different language). They even resemble each other a bit. That 90’s show was good .
Your complaints about Randy remind me of the old joke “waiter, this food is terrible, and the portions are so small!”
