In this video I compare being a doctor in the EU, USA and Australia based on my experience. If you have any question please message me on my Instagram @ dr.mgx Swissraconteur
I don't like the video as the comparison is not fair. the doctor just showed how easy it is in germany to travel all europe and how distant australia is from the whole world without considering any pros for living in australia and how it actually is easier than usmle and pays more than uk with greater work-life balance
Fun fact = most of the American and even around the world save money to explore europe and when old american were asked where they want to settle they said "they want peace ☮️ full life that is in Europe"
Hello sir, could you make a video on the topic non clinical branches like microbiology as speciality in germany those who have completed MD in the same subject here...
I m 32 years old,I want to see my self in abroad for some personal issue.i want to move with kids & husband.is it a wise decision to make a dream with Germany?
Hi sir I am a dentist orthodontist from India I have for profile evaluation but agency is telling me not eligible for Europe country but she is telling for uk
I am a US citizen but an International medical graduate with a medical license from India and the West Indies Medical Board. I have an MMED in Nephrology medicine from the UK. May I work as a doctor in Switzerland?
Bcs switzerland is a rich and small country everyone wants to go there so imagine what it would be if everyone could go there also becoming citizenship take 12_14 years
Hello Dr. Ganz, thanks for this informative channel. The contents are quite eye-opening, almost inspirational. I am Sandipto. I am from India and at the moment in the higher specialist training programme in the UK. I am going to soon finish my training and become a neonatologist. Would it be possible for you to shed some light on job availabilities in neonatology in Switzerland? I would be grateful. Thanks.
see,,usa pays highest around the world,,,and other countries pays nearly...eg..if usa pays,,300k$/annum...in europe specialist would earn,,,200k$/ annum...europe has low taxes and usa has 48%..250k$ in usa....and 180k in europe....also work hour in usa is 80hrs,,,while in europe its 56hr/ week.
@@DrTsdkmy uncle is a consultant in Australia while I have my cousin in the UK UK is alot better if you want to become a specialist doctor and maybe if you want further fellowship Australia is better If you want to remain a GP especially alot of time in rural areas until you're a consultant level doctor (with some exceptions) Australia is no where near as good for specializations as it has huge issues in its pathway .... like alot But if you're okay being a GP then Australia would be fine UK is alot better if you want to be a specialist or even if you wanna be a GP it's completely fine Salary wise obviously specialists get paid more than a GP But even if you compare an aus sp with a uk sp , they make roughly the same , while as a GP Australia GP would make 5% more but the contract bonuses and addedONS in UK are better for GPs Travel wise obviously UK is the place to go. Australia is honestly dead , there's nothing special after the first 4-5y , and with a GP salary after taxes I doubt you'll travel alot
use common sense no doctor in europe earn more than 150k....in residency u ll get 70-90k a year after that it start from 110k- 180-190 a year before taxes...thats why usa is best u ll get 250k-1million depend on speciality...@@daniellageorge8771
@@saritasingh_j1234 250k+ dollars of USA u have to enter a competitive surgical position which for international graduates is nearly impossible… international doctors mostly enter internal medicine where the top speciality gives u max of 300k and not 1 million lol..
Issue with German Qualifications is that they are unrecognised by NMC India which means despite doing a descent standard of Post graduation from Germany and if someone does decide to come back to India then it's a lot of trouble as they won't be considered on same bar as an Indian PG/DM and hence will not be able to secure high paid jobs or positions. Europe definitely not an option for me!
I love how calm and composed you are in addressing the points. I came to your channel by accident, but I have now subscribed.
Good to know your perspective as a young medical student about all these countries
You are a very good person, I like you personality so much. Thanks for this informative Video ❤

Yaaayy.. you're back.. I'm really looking forward to the German language course
In USA, you don't work 100 hours when you graduate residency. The maximum attendings / consultants work is 40 hours per week
