Eren is a greatly misunderstood character. He is a very well written character with a tragic touch to it yet the majority of the fandom chooses to ignore it and just blame him for everything he does. He's broken to the point of beyond repair. I am so in love with Eren's life and his sufferings. He deserved better out of it yet he never got it.
There was so much going on and you can only try to understand his actions if you understand his suffering. As you said the character is so well written and aot is for me a masterpiece
