"the world is cruel but I still love you" is an incredible line because it's applicable to our reality. Even though our existence is doomed with suffering, love - love for the familiar, for the stranger, for nature, for art - is what makes life worth living.
Everything in aot is relateble to our world, thats what i call a Masterpiece. Aot isn't just a fictional world, its much more than that

Really love how Samuel brought back some old themes that we haven't heard in a long time in AoT. Like "Call of Silence" at 0:57 and then "Counter Attack-Mankind" at 1:37. When I heard these two being referenced in this incredible arrangement, I just felt so many emotions flood back in me because it just threw me way back to those earlier episodes. Don't get me wrong, I love AoT right now, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss what it used to be. I guess I just miss the feeling of curiosity and the not knowing how the story would turn out. But since I've already read the manga, it's like that "magic" is not necessarily gone, but just not the same. Really going to miss this masterpiece of a show when it's finally finished.

Such a beauty melody, one of the most striking sounds I've ever heard. It's haunting and melancholic yet so beautiful and peaceful. When I listen it makes me grateful to have lived in this world and experienced an expression of such wonderful beauty.
As tragic as this beautiful story is, I feel at peace knowing that Eren lived a meaningful life and is at peace.
Ofcourse we'd love a happy ending where Eren lived and could be with Mikasa, but that doesn't mean their love wasn't special. Ofcourse he desired to be with Mikasa and his friends but he truly believed in his own sacrifice for them.
"The world is cruel, but I still love you". This perfectly encapsulates that the world broke them through the sacrifices they made but their love endured. Eren sacrificed his final years of happiness with Mikasa to stay and defend Paradis so his friends could live peaceful lives. Mikasa sacrificed her love to save what remained of the world, and also freed Ymir from the consequences of the sacrifice she could not make. Despite the cruelty of these sacrifices they loved eachother and what matters is their freedom, resilience & choice to rise above that pain and see the beauty in the world, their love.
His love for Mikasa affirms though this world does not seem worth living in, there are people worth living for. It eases the heartache of saying goodbye knowing despite the dark path Eren went down, he still lived a meaningful and fulfilling life where he loved and was loved both in the paths with Mikasa and the world. "The world is cruel, but it's also beautiful". This is because of the love Eren and Mikasa had for eachother. They were eachothers constant companion and peace.

I realized Eren and Mikasa never slowed down to take in all they have accomplished. The suffering and despair in their lives forces them to keep moving forward with their duties, prompting them to give their best effort in every difficult circumstance. I have been watching the series for a year and just realized how big they have grown from kids. Even to me, as a viewer, I have rarely thought about Eren and Mikasa being adults, no longer kids with limitless ambitions. This music is beautiful, this anime is not real, but so realistic at the same time.

is beautiful. I always knew this song belonged to Eren and Mikasa. a couple who sacrificed their happiness for the world. Now I understand, he didn't want to continue with that destiny, he wanted to be next to the woman he loves. It hurts, it hurts a lot. I cried, I cried so much that my eyes were swollen. and it hurts more for Mikasa, she lost many people and especially the man she loved, I love the characters, it is not a fairy tale since they did not have a happy ending, only them, in some way I feel Mikasa's pain but it hurts plus see them in El Más Allá finally together. Maybe others do not understand and only criticize, but the couple in all anime who despite their love had to sacrifice themselves for a humanity that does not change. For him the most beautiful thing in the world was her, his beloved, in his eyes she is the most beautiful of all. They will always be in my heart, I imagine that at least one moment was just for them.

This is one of the most realistic and beautiful theme, I've personally encountered in fiction. This theme resonates throughout the story through many events and characters.
This is one of the most prominent themes in AoT from the very start, and is beautifully portrayed from different perspectives, character dynamics and subtle yet substantial details throughout the narrative which makes this much more complex and can be interpreted in myriad of ways.
Thank You Samuel, for this emotional and melancholic orchestral version.

Wow. This is so breathtakingly beautiful. I don't watch Attack on Titan, but my sister loves it and would talk to me about it all the time. She sent me the original, (and damn, the lyrics 😭) but this- this is a masterpiece. SO incrediblely beautiful. (we're both huge fans of your music btw)

Am I the only one who is crying when listening to this emotional orchestral version of Akuma no Ko?, because seriously listening to this, it moves me a lot.
I think AOT is the type of series that everyone should watch at least one time in a timeline. This series has action, adventure, drama,suspense and much more emotion.
last night i texted my crush . then i found out i wasn't her best choice so i got very sad . but eren and mikasa´s farewell and un completed love story made me forget about my personal issues .
I am just glad i was a part of something this beautiful and masterpiece like aot and i will never regret aot my pov of life changed itself.
