I'm so excited to see a non-sponsored review. I just bought the mini tube to give it a shot. I like your results so far and look forward to seeing your progressive results. I also need to style my hair with lots of water after so I'm nervous about how it'll look after. Trying it tonight!

Let me know how you like it! I spoke with a hairstylist at a salon here in NYC who sells the product, you can rewet the hair after the 4 minutes but a mist of water not drenched lol.

@@ItsDinorah So far I like it! I bought the big bottle. I've done 4 treatments so far and the last one has my hair feeling much healthier. It's pretty amazing. I don't notice enhanced curling but at least it's feeling better. I have been wetting my hair well so I'll stop that. Thanks for replying. Your results look so good so far :)

I chatted with K18 CS this week and she said I could definitely wet my hair after 4 minutes without reducing effectiveness of product.

Ok just wait until the 4th application. I’m bleached blonde 7 years and 3b/3c natural hair… my natural curl is coming back and I haven’t seen it in close to a decade. I have that S wave with tons of frizz and damage and now it’s freaking soft and turnin into CURLS!

It's definitely a game changer. I still use it to maintain 🤗

It could be due to mechanical styling or even the products you use. I always always check ingredients in my hair products because a lot of products that you may think are good might be actually bad for your hair in the long run!
If you don’t know any ingredients, I just look them up and that helped a lot!!
I’ve noticed I had to quit using a lot of products due to them having bad ingredients for hair. (I’m also a stylist)

This is so true! I know its definitely something I used and I'm also sensitive to protein. I'm going to pay more attention to the ingredients, thank you : )

Hey is there a list online that you follow that says what to avoid. Or is it like sulfats, paraben, edta, ammonium

Per the manufacturer, you need to warm the product in your hands for 10 seconds, the product will turn white, then you apply it to your hair.

My hair is like that, too. I have been thinking that maybe I just have a different curl patter on top and the sides, versus the back and underneath part of my hair. It’s super coily in back of my head, and the top is more of a wave like yours. I just figured I have a mix of textures from 3B to 4a. 🤷🏽‍♀️ But I definitely want to try K18 now and see if it will do anything for me.

Have you gotten a curly cut before?? By a curl specialist. Our texture is about the same and mine start to go limp when I need a haircut! I’m also coily.

But an average haircut doesn’t do it for me. A curl specialist will cut it curl by curl and remove some of the weight so they bounce .

I dyed my hair red a few times and then tried to go back blonde with bleach. My natural curl pattern was destroyed.

Same but I’ve been using Olaplex and k18 and it really has helped.
