      Well, it is the first time they listen to the best live-band existing. Nobody is so tight, so pushing. Other bands may have more fancy music, but nothing beats the energy of AC/DC. if you have the right audience, just like 2009 in argentina, you get the best of the best.
      So, listening to this - th-cam.com/video/J6sAagIau_A/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=CarlosYoung2.0 - let you realise why ACDC is the best band on the planet.

    Rock 'N' Roll - DONE!!!!!!! The two guitarists were great fans of Chuck Berry, he was a hero to them. Angus's 'Duck Walk' is a tribute to Chuck who frequently performed it.

    Great day that was, when Donington was proper Donington - one stage and one day of pure adrenaline. There were buses back to Derby that you could jump on and make the last couple of hours at The Rock House after the headliner had finished too - then a kebab and then figure out how you were gonna get home. We used to just crash on a bench and get a train next day - man, I wish I was a teenager again 😂

    The lead guitarist is Angus Young. Him and older brother Malcolm {on rhythm guitar} formed the group in 1973 in Australia. Its been said that Malcolm was the driving force behind the group even tho it was Angus always in the forefront with his goosestepping antics and guitar riffs. In the groups career, Malcolm missed being in the band only once for a brief illness, in 1988. He returned and played up until he had to retire in 2014 due to dementia. We lost Malcolm on November 18, 2017 from complications from dementia.
    RIP Malcolm Young

      Thanks for that. The original line up was the best and I respect Brian greatly but he is no Bon Scott.

    • @lisar.6670
      @lisar.6670 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@richardellis4636... I like both singers but you are correct by saying Brian is no Bon. The same goes for Van Halen. I like both {the 'early in the groups' career} David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar .. However .. most Americans didn't grow up listening to or know who Brian Johnson was. If you knew who Roth was than you also knew who Hagar was from his days with Montrose. That's why I believe it was so much easier for U.S. fans to accept Johnson as AC/DC's new 'frontman' than it was to accept Hagar as the new frontman for Van Halen. A lot of my friends were split down the middle. It was a 'Love him! Hate him!' relationship. Most fans of both Van Halen and Montrose were willing to give Sammy a chance but man! .. there were 'just' Hagar or Roth fans that were down right dirty and relentless, spewing hate all over the place about Sammy joining the lineup. It was unimaginable for these folks to visualize this.

    • @Nikki-l5p9y
      @Nikki-l5p9y 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@lisar.6670it was easy for me. I loved the Red Rocker, and never really liked David Lee Roth. Got to go see Van Hagar back in the day, and Sammy was a helluva frontman. He climbed up on the catwalk/scaffolding waaaaay up above the stage, and stood on the handrails, holding on with just one hand, microphone in the other, standing on one foot, with the other dangling out above the crowd. The band manager, and the building manager must have been having heart attacks! But it was one wild show. Also, BTO had opened for them, and after their set, they went down with the crowd at the front of the stage, and were sharing a half gallon bottle of Jack with everyone. Just kicking it with the crowd in their overalls. It was a good show.

    Angus Young on the guitar, Brian Johnson on vocals. This song was released on their first album titled High Voltage in 1973 or 1974. Bon Scott was the lead singer for this band on this album and until his passing in February 1980. Bon was great too. If you get a chance try to watch the official video for Walk All Over You. Angus going off, you will like it. Thanks for the reaction.

    I worked backstage crew at this gig. I'd already been doing it for 9 years at that point & had seen some weird & wonderful shit. But the stuff that went on behind the scenes here was off the scale. Most of the people involved are still alive so I can't go into detail...but the sex & drugs & rock n roll level went all the way to 11. First time I'd ever seen coke delivered in a bucket.

    Listen to some of audio only. COD, Hells Bells, Rock & Roll ain't noise pollution.. Touch too much. they're so amazing and I've seen them live several times..
    They played Festival in Toronto and Rolling Stones, Rush and a number of big names played.. it was all day
    9am to 1am 30C and scorching 🔥
    we and most were out of it by late afternoon..
    most people forgot it was a concert until ACDC came on... it was like a bolt of energy and it cut through the haze of heat, booze and ______...
    freaking out of this world.

    Really need to check out It’s A Long Way to the Top. IT HAS BAGPIPES! And the original frontman, Bon Scott. Then you will see why them finding Brian Johnson was such a miracle. I remember when everyone was sure that AC/DC had died along with Bon. There was so much talk about how they could never go on. And then even more talk about how the new album would suck, and there was no way anyone would buy it…..and then it dropped……and boy did that talk get stopped in its tracks! Watch this video I mentioned. And then pick anything from Back in Black.

    No knock on Brian Johnson, but Bon Scott AC/DC is better. After Bon died they went shopping for a new lead singer and came across Brian. He did a fantastic job on Back in Black, but because of the commercial success of that album their song writing changed and their sound became over produced and wishy washy. Listen to a track called Let There Be Rock (Bon), then listen to Who Made Who (Brian) and you'll understand what I mean. They have their odd gem from the post Bon era, but the vast majority is commercialized canned rock that would appeal to a wider audience. Powerage is one of my favourite albums from them. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap has some classic tracks on it and what can you say about Highway To Hell? Awesome album.

      I see you learned Angus' name. That's one thing everyone who doesn't know him asks when they hear that guitar - who is that? And I like that "can you believe that" look in the camera when they let Angus loose. Keep up the good work and turn up your volume a bit.@@MollyBoyTV

      Hey MollyBoy - I looked at your channel and didn't see Let There Be Rock live at River Plate. My apologies if I missed it, but Angus does a 17-minute solo on it that'll give you goosebumps.@@MollyBoyTV

    "It better be good?" ANYTHING rock is better than good. It's great. Rock is 100% talent. What instruments do rappers play? Oh that's right, NONE.

      It was a joke… relax. I also know quite a lot of rappers that play instruments

    Oh man, I’ll take AC/DC over Kurt Cobain any day of the week! This is ROCK! Cobain was grunge and I’m not that big of a fan of Grunge. I’ve seen AC/DC in concert 7 times and they ROCKED those places out! I actually had Malcolm Young take the rose out of my hand that my b/f had given me before the concert. I was 15 the first time I saw them.

    Do a brummie a sweet bro, it's another old rum band but I saw them at your age and all members were in various brum bands. From the move , ELO and there own greats . Would you please review The Stev Gibbons Band . Mr Jones . From a fellow brummie please.

    The live version with the mighty Chris Slade on drums is the best version ever recorded. Jimy Hendrick played his guitar also with his tongue. By the way, Angus Young NEVER played a single note out of tune in his life.

    Hi just subscribed and watched your pink floyd reaction
    I rember when this was new in the 70's
    Their are so many great rock bands
    But pink floyd had no equal except one other band which you also have not reacted to that is led zeppelin they were pink floyds only peers in quality and unique style.
    So try zeppelin please i ask if you could start with zeppelin live at Mattson square garden 1973 the song
    Since I've been loving you. Zeppelin are a blues hard rock band Jimmy page is the lead guitar player
    Looking forward to see you grow in subs and knowledge.
