OMG I’ve never lived in London but my sister used to in the 70s (yes I’m your grandmother’s age!) and we used to go to The Flask in Highgate. It was THE place for Sunday people watching.
I live in Hampstead and I can confirm it’s absolutely gorgeous. Defo my favourite place london

Just went to Hampstead today after I watched your video. I was stunned : so romantic, cosy, all the colors, dogs everywhere. Leaving in Paris I came back feeling like I'd been on the countryside for a day. Best thing ever to do in London! Thanks Niomi for this tour:)
Hampstead was my safe haven when I lived in London-absolutely beautiful an calming area, when you need to get outside the city. Thank you for bringing back the memories ☺️

Hampstead heath is my favorite place ever in London. Se are so Lucky to have amazing green spaces!
Hampstead Pergola and hill garden is one of my favourite places, I highly recommend a stroll there if you’ve never stumbled upon it.
I used to live on Flask walk for years, Hampstead is the best place to live in London but over the years I've been priced out by the super expensive shops and house prices 😭 still love it x

You're very lucky to live in such a beautiful city, and country... and you look like royalty. Here in Australia yes we do have natural beauty, but I really miss walking around London, Bath and the Cotswolds, all of which look like movie sets.
Haha when I first visited London I also thought I had discovered the cutest independent french café before realising it was a chain 😂

This was lovely! I don't live in England but enjoy learning about it and seeing the various areas.
I cant believe someone can live in Hampstead and move out else where in London

When I was younger, I wanted to live in Greenwich, and then after college, I moved away from the UK for a while; I really loved it, but when I moved back, I just thought "I'm never leaving again" not even for another part of the city.
I took it for granted so much growing up, and now, as much as I still enjoy going to Greenwich, it's not here.
There are lots of great areas of London, and everyone will tell you that theirs is the best. That's the beauty of it.
Hampstead is really pretty, though
I'm just about to move out of Hampstead at the end of the month and it is heartbreaking! But we're currently living in a pretty affordable studio flat that our landlord has sold and we can't find ANYTHING here in our budget - everything is so, so expensive.
Try buying a house in Hampstead. We live in a flat but a house down the road was for sale for £12M!!!

OMG I spent 6 months living in Hampstead, it's such a beautiful area!! I miss it so much now; I used to go to all the places you just showed in the vlog! The Artichoke juice bar is excellent, and I highly recommend visiting the Hill Garden and Pergola as well - especially during spring/summer!

We went to Hampstead on our 2nd visit to London last year!! It was such a beautiful and peaceful area !!! I would take walks every day if I lived there!!!
my english aunt lives in hempstead. ever since I was a child I told everyone I was going to move to hempstead after I finish school in berlin. when I actually finished school I looked up the rents in hempstead. long story short, I never left berlin 😂

This is amazing! I was just there on Sunday for Sunday roast. We had Sunday roast at Flask, and then stopped in at the Holly Bush for a pint. Please do more neighborhood walk-thrus. Thanks Niomi!

I was in Hampstead yesterday i went to The Isokon Gallery and look around the shops in Hampstead.
Thank u so much for making this . I remember which this video crying my eyes out 2 years ago cuz of how much I missed it. I remember the little doors by the crep stand and getting babychinos at Ronnie’s after getting home from school. I remember wagamamas and my and my best friends siting on the old fake grass by the old abandoned building by the crep stand which I think is an art gallery now? I’m so heart broken that I moved away. My shitty family ruined it all lmaoaooa but it’s fine. I hope to come back soon. Cant thank you enough

I lived in Hampstead for many years but have since moved to Germany, of course from time to time I still travel back and forth as it is still a nice place to visit.

I know!! I never knew it was international, even though I've been going to restaurants in Brussels and Liege all my life (my mum says they were very kid-friendly, which was kinda rare in Belgium in the 90s). I first spotted them abroad in London, and later in the US and even Russia. 😂
Love it. I am so taken by the coffee house called Ginger and White. That would be my regular stop, every day, if I lived there. Cheers.
I would love to live in London, I need to start organising trips to London to check out the smaller boroughs instead of just going to the main tourist areas, see some true London

I really don't think I'll ever come to these places but I absolutely love these tours you do! Can't wait for the Mumbai tours one day! Hope the move is going well, I know that moving house is very stressful and can imagine moving country is even more stressful so hope you are both still enjoying it!

I’m so nosey. It’s driving me crazy that I don’t know who used to live in the purple house. Btw, Hampstead is my favorite place in London. I visited London for almost 2 weeks back in August and only went on a day trip to Hempstead. I regretted booking my Airbnb on Bricklane over Hampstead. It was so crowded in the Bricklane area. When I went to Hampstead it was like a breath of fresh air.
Although I'm excited about your new adventure & wish nothing but the best for you & Joe, as someone who is not a Londoner but adores London, I can't imagine leaving it behind, even if only for a little while! :)

any idea if "Klooks Kleek" is still there ? so many famous bands of the 60's played / recorded there, by the hampstead railways station I believe
